Federal judge stays Joseph Paul Franklin’s execution By Jim Salter | The Associated Press First Published 8 hours ago • Updated 27 minutes ago St. Louis • A federal judge in Missouri has given a stay of execution to white supremacist serial killer Joseph Paul Franklin just hours before his scheduled death. U.S. District Court Judge Nanette Laughrey ruled late Tuesday afternoon that a lawsuit filed by Franklin and 20 other death-row inmates challenging Missouri’s execution protocol must first be resolved.

So it appears that the state of Missouri has more decency than JPF does. He didn't grant that little girl a stay, or even the chance to appeal against his decision on the grounds it was "inhumane".

Wasn't the state of Missouri. Was a female federal judge. Which goes to show that you "opinions" have little to do with facts. |

Joseph Paul Franklin, hero, is dead.
Joseph Paul Franklin, martyr, is born and will live forever in the hearts and minds of strong, loyal white men, women, and youth. Hail Joseph Paul Franklin !!! NOTE: A month or so ago when I told Joseph that some WNs had turned against him because he was saying to the media that he was sorry about his killings, here's what he said, loudly, and angrily: "What the hell's the matter with them?? What do they expect me to do ?? I'm just saying I'm sorry to the media because it'll help my appeals." (or words to that effect) Obviously, I didn't feel free to report that statement on this forum while he still had appeals pending. Plus, he asked me not to. Per Fred Streed's suggestion coupla days ago, I advised Joseph yesterday when he phoned, that if he wanted to help his legacy as a WN hero, he should make a strong pro-white statement when given the chance to make his final words, and after all his appeals were denied. And I suggested statements similar to what Fred suggested. I do not know what his final words were, or if we'll ever know. I'll be speaking with several of the witnesses soon, and I'll ask them if they know. However, he did say to me later on, that he was sorry he killed the 15-year old girl. He said that to me, twice. And he was not lying about being a christian. Now damn it, believe what I said above. You all know I do not lie, and I've been posting here for almost 10 years.

All the news stories are going on about the pornography publisher. Not one I've seen so far has mentioned the 15 year old girl that he lived with and then killed. May she now RIP.

Only just seen your edit. He did not make a final statement. Quote:
Telling you he was just saying that to help his case - did he not realise his phone calls were probably recorded? I'm quite frankly surprised that he didn't get a stay on mental health grounds. I expected that all along, especially after I read somewhere that he had a significant head injury as a child.

I just phoned and spoke with one of the witnesses. She, and 3 others were with Joseph until 3 this morning before returning to their hotel rooms. All happily celebrated the stay, of course, and had no inkling, there'd be a counter-ruling so quickly by the US Supreme Court. Joe even laughed uncontrollably at a joke one of his friends made.
The reporters also left at 3 or earlier, this morning. And so, Joseph was all alone when he got the bad news, and all alone when he was executed. They probably woke him from sleep. He was tormented until the end. Who knows what unspeakable tortures were inflicted on him by JOG whores between 3 AM and 6:07 AM, when he died. I believe Joseph made a pro-white final statement, but I doubt any of the bureaucrats/prison officials will repeat his final statement, truthfully. Hail our martyr, Joseph Paul Franklin !!!

I tend to believe the various media outlets and the three media witnesses when they say he made no statement. If he had made any sort of pro-white statement, they would have only been too glad to print it along with his and his doctor's/attorney's claims that he was mentally ill and a paranoid schizophrenic.

White supremacist who paralyzed Larry Flynt executed By Associated Press November 20, 2013 | 8:02am Joseph Paul Franklin's 2007 booking photo. BONNE TERRE, Mo. — Joseph Paul Franklin, a white supremacist who targeted blacks and Jews in a cross-country killing spree from 1977 to 1980, was put to death Wednesday in Missouri, the state’s first execution in nearly three years. Franklin, 63, was executed at the state prison in Bonne Terre for killing Gerald Gordon in a sniper shooting at a suburban St. Louis synagogue in 1977. Franklin was convicted of seven other murders across the country and claimed responsibility for up to 20 overall, but the Missouri case was the only one that brought a death sentence. Mike O’Connell, of the Missouri Department of Corrections, said Franklin was pronounced dead at 6:17 a.m. The execution was the first in Missouri using a single drug, pentobarbital. Franklin’s fate was sealed early Wednesday when the U.S. Supreme Court upheld a federal appeals court ruling that overturned two stays granted Tuesday evening by district court judges in Missouri. Evil kike Larry Flynt in his famous gold wheelchair. Flynt was paralyzed from the waist down after he was shot by Joseph Paul Franklin. Franklin also admitted to shooting and wounding civil rights leader Vernon Jordan and Hustler magazine publisher Larry Flynt, who has been paralyzed from the waist down since the attack in 1978. Franklin, a paranoid schizophrenic who grew up in Mobile, Ala., was in his mid-20s in 1977 when he began drifting across America, robbing up to 16 banks to fund his travels. He bombed a synagogue in Chattanooga, Tenn., in July that year. No one was hurt, but the killings began soon after that, many of them sniper shootings. Franklin had a particular dislike for interracial couples — several of his victims were black men and the white women with them. He arrived in suburban St. Louis and picked out Brith Sholom Kneseth Israel synagogue from the Yellow Pages. On Oct. 8, 1977, a bar mitzvah ended and guests were in the parking lot when Franklin opened fire from a grassy area nearby, killing Gordon, 42. The killings continued for three more years. Franklin was finally caught after killing two young black men who were about to go jogging with two teenage white girls in Salt Lake City in August 1980. Years later, in federal prison, he admitted to the St. Louis County killing. He was sentenced to death in 1997. Franklin, in the days leading up to the execution, said in several interviews that he was sorry for his crimes and was no longer a racist. |

The moral of this story is that it is significantly better to die in a shoot out a free man than to be captured by the system and tortured institutionally and euthanized.

US neo-Nazi Joseph Franklin who targeted black and Jewish people in a nationwide killing spree executed in Missouri
http://www.independent.co.uk/news/wo...s-8950932.html
Joseph Paul Franklin, a white supremacist who targeted blacks and Jews in a cross-country killing spree from 1977 to 1980, was today put to death in Missouri, the state's first execution using a single drug, pentobarbital. Ads by Google Is Jesus Really God? Franklin was convicted of seven other murders across the country and claimed responsibility for up to 20 overall, but the Missouri case was the only one that brought a death sentence. Franklin, 63, was sentenced to die at 12.01am (05.01 GMT) today for killing 42-year-old Gordon in a sniper attack outside a synagogue in 1977 but he was granted a delay of execution just hours before his scheduled death. The murder of Gordon was one of as many as 20 killings committed by Franklin, who targeted blacks and Jews in a cross-country spree from 1977 to 1980. He was convicted of seven other murders, but the Missouri case was the only one resulting in a death sentence. Franklin also has admitted to shooting and wounding civil rights leader Vernon Jordan and Hustler magazine publisher Larry Flynt, who has been paralysed from the waist down since the 1978 attack. Franklin confessed to targeting the porn baron because of a double page spread published in Hustler showing a black man and a white woman together. But in an interview with the St. Louis Post-Dispatch on Monday, Franklin, who has been incarcerated since 1980, insisted he no longer hates black people or Jews. Judge Nanette Laughrey had ruled on a lawsuit filed by Franklin and 20 other death row inmates challenging Missouri's decision to use a single drug, pentobarbital, arguing it would violate a constitutional ban on unusual and cruel forms of punishment. Franklin had been scheduled to die today. The ruling criticises the timing of the changes to how the state administers capital punishment, looking specifically at the plan to use the drug for the first time ever. The judge described the execution protocol and the manner in which it has changed repeatedly as a "frustratingly moving target.” “Throughout this litigation, the details of the execution protocol have been illusive at best,” the judge wrote. “Given the irreversible nature of the death penalty and plaintiffs' medical evidence and allegations, a stay is necessary to ensure that the defendants' last act against Franklin is not permanent, irremediable cruel and unusual punishment in violation of the Eighth Amendment.” Joseph Paul Franklin in photos taken in 2005, 2007 and 2012 Joseph Paul Franklin in photos taken in 2005, 2007 and 2012 The state appealed the ruling to the 8th US Circuit Court of Appeals, though it wasn't clear how quickly that court would rule. A second federal judge, weighing a separate appeal contesting Franklin's competency to be executed based on his mental illness, also granted a delay and said the issue needs “a meaningful review". Franklin's attorney, Jennifer Herndon, said earlier the execution warrant allowed it to be carried out anytime today. She said Franklin, who had been diagnosed as mentally ill, did not seem to fully understand the stay. “He was happy,” she said. “I'm not really convinced that he totally understands that he was going to die.” Like other states, Missouri has previously used a cocktail of three-drugs to conduct executions. But drugmakers were reluctant to sell those drugs to prisons and corrections departments, so in 2012 Missouri announced a new one-drug execution protocol using propofol. But Gov. Jay Nixon ordered the Missouri Department of Corrections to produce a new drug after an outcry from the medical profession over planned use of the popular anesthetic in an execution. Most propofol is made in Europe, and the European Union had threatened to limit exports of it. Nixon spokesman Scott Holste had no immediate comment about the ruling. |
