What Are Gravitational Waves And Why Do They Matter?
What Are Gravitational Waves And Why Do They Matter? If we detect them, it could mean a lot about the universe Physicists have been buzzing (or rather, tweeting) about the possibility that the Laser Interferometer Gravitational-Wave Observatory (LIGO) experiment finally discovered gravitational waves. LIGO has been searching for these cosmic ripples for over a decade. Last September, it upgraded to Advanced-LIGO, a more sensitive system that's also better at filtering out noise. Advanced-LIGO has a much stronger chance of collecting concrete evidence of gravitational waves—if it hasn't already. http://www.popsci.com/whats-so-impor...tational-waves |

Calling that commie JEW Einstein "the greatest scientific mind of the 20th century" is of course anti-White politically correct BULLSHIT. If JEW Einstein had brains of a genius he would have been the one to design and construct the first electronic programmable computer, but he didn't, Konrad Zuse did. Form what I've heard JEW Einstein couldn't even do university level calculus.

The movements they had to measure were 1/1000 the diameter of a proton. Astonishing.

Well, media hype aside, nothing can be considered as "proven," even tentatively, until the same experiment is replicated by other scientists, and the same result is obtained.
The replication of experiments is an integral component of the scientific method. I am not saying that such replication will or will not take place in this case - only that until it does, everything is still hypothetical.

Here's a fellow who is less than impressed:

"But that's not quite true. In Einstein's theory, the laws of physics actually break before the singularity is reached. But scientists extrapolate backward as if the physics equations still hold . . "Our theory suggests that the age of the universe could be infinite," said study co-author Saurya Das, physicist at the University of Lethbridge in Alberta, Canada.
