Default Lincoln

Saw a trailer for this movie while out to see Taken 2 (good movie, fantastic by Hollywood standards). Directed by Shtevie Shpielboig, it's chock full of the lies and deceit one would expect from such a prominent member of the tribe. "Intelligent and civilized" niggers abound, likely giving crucial advice and emotional support to whitey, it's chutzpah of the kind we haven't seen since Schindler's List (of Jews That Were Going to Survive the Second World War Anyway).

This quote needs to be posted anywhere this movie is associated with a comments section. I've already done it on the official YouTube trailer but it's doomed to be drowned in the comment-a-minute flow of those kinds of videos:

I will say then that I am not, nor ever have been in favor of bringing about in any way the social and political equality of the white and black races, [applause]---that I am not nor ever have been in favor of making voters or jurors of negroes, nor of qualifying them to hold office, nor to intermarry with white people; and I will say in addition to this that there is a physical difference between the white and black races which I believe will for ever forbid the two races living together on terms of social and political equality. And inasmuch as they cannot so live, while they do remain together there must be the position of superior and inferior, and I as much as any other man am in favor of having the superior position assigned to the white race.

-- Abraham Lincoln

If the trailer you saw is the same one I did, it would appear to show that Lincoln lived, breathed, spent every waking hour pondering how to help the poor niggers...and thats all he ever did. His. Whole. Life.

Default The value for me was educational

I just watched Lincoln two days ago. It was actually a halfway decent movie IMO. Of course people get the impression Lincoln was always obsessed with niggers from watching this movie. This is not true.
This movie only covers the last four and a half months of Lincoln's life, from January 1865 to April 15, 1865. Lincoln was never in favor of slavery, but neither was he always a nigger lover. He was a politician's politician. Before the war he basically said that what he did in regards to slavery he did to preserve the union. At the start of the war he left slavery alone to keep the border states in the union. As time and the war went on he issued the emancipation proclamation-a war measure abolishing slavery in Confederate territory (where he had no power to do so but it kept England and France out of the war on the Confederate side). As the war neared to its end, with victory for the union all but inevitable, Lincoln saw the total abolition of slavery as necessary to start the process of reunification after the war.
Lincoln's views on race and slavery changed over the course of the war. The movie shows how he saw niggers in the last days of his life.
Also very interesting is how the political process is shown to be nothing but corruption and compromise. Thaddeus Stevens, an avid and devout nigger lover, toned down his rhetoric to get the proposed 13th amendment ending slavery passed. Of course the vote in Congress was just the start-27 of the then 36 states still had to ratify the amendment and did so in December 1865.
At any rate the movie was educational for me. Some of the movie was filmed right here in Richmond VA. The Virginia State Capitol stood in for the US Capitol.

Time and again during his seven debates with Stephen Douglas -- the primary issue of which was the abolition of slavery -- "Honest Abe" said that he was not in favor of freeing slaves. Lincoln was also noted for telling racist jokes in the presence of blacks after he'd been elected president.

I thought a Lincoln was the car use by Kennedy in Dallas.
My mates dad had one when I was a kid.

Then again I did hear of some dead guy in America that had a plan to send the blacks in America to the West Indies.

If you search f movies .to but take out the two spaces.

Fuck paying

I saw Lincoln, and it had its points. Daniel Day Lewis was a good Lincoln, Sally Field did Mary Todd well, and they sure captured how muddy life was then.
What I didn't like was the anti-white propaganda. It starts with nigger soldiers whipping Confederates, then when the Confederate delegates meet Lincoln's men, they're escorted by smirking nigger troops. It shows Thaddeus Stevens with his black mistress, which was historically correct, and I think the movie left me with a bad taste. And yes, it only deals with the last four months of Lincoln's life.

A better movie (TV movie) is the adaptation of the novel Lincoln by Gore Vidal. It starts in 1861, and Sam Waterston is a good Lincoln. It deals a lot more with the politics of the war, and captures Vidal's view of 'The Ancient' very well.
Also, there is a scene where Lincoln meets with black leaders, and urges them to accept a plan for resettlement outside America, because Lincoln said they will never be accepted by whites. Again, historically correct. It runs three hours, and I enjoyed it, and captured most of the book's spirit.

Also, have you seen the PBS series Mercy Street? It's set in a Civil War hospital, and is filmed in Alexandria.
And if you're fond of Virginia locations, watch Turn: Washington's Spies. Also filmed in the Old Dominion.
