[summary: if today ends in a y, Golden Dawn is being abused in the global coordinated media]

Abusive - slanderous amok in the mainstream media of the Golden Dawn (1)
Friday, September 21, 2012 - 19:14

Heap abusive, slanderous, threatening and alarmist publications had the previous day by the mainstream media contractors of interactions in the pure nationalists of the Golden Dawn. It was so much (and still continue, but with reduced intensity ...) that we missed you present them. We'll try to do it now, and ... polykairias problem does not exist, as they continue to remain relevant. We begin with an article in the "day" of Bobola (the EPOniti made Baron ...) where one finds columnist regime fearful that Greek nationalists "are echoed in a growing segment of the population," reproaching the troika because ... "can not to understand what it can mean for Greece to strengthen the right wing "(under one condition: where it says" for Greece "be replaced with" the rotten establishment ") and finally sounded the alarm, because the rise Golden Dawn "will cause problems in Europe and the region of Southeast Europe and the Eastern Mediterranean" (as well as in areas south of the Indian Ocean, Australia and New Zealand, and the Amazon ... we will remind them of your Sir columnist . Behold the regime's delusions and hilarious ... enjoy:

Troika, you know Golden Dawn?

You know the Golden Dawn? The question addressed in the troika, the technocrats who are in Greece, including Thomsen, Mazouch and Co., and especially their political bosses.

To all those who think that the misery of the Greek population (internal devaluation is not successful and nothing else) will be able to make Greece competitive.

And instead what we see? The Golden Dawn to apothrasynetai the snake to move on the streets and act almost unaccountable.

And if things were limited to the actions of extremist would say little evil. The worst thing is that these operations are echoed in a growing segment of the population, confirming the historical precedents that in times of great crisis, the far right raises its head and strengthened.

The result saw the last poll which revealed the Golden Dawn with third party share even 12%.

If the troika can not grasp what it may mean for Greece to strengthen the right wing through further economic misery of the Greeks, the Greek government has to put it on the table and to sound the alarm on his team and especially Thomsen political leadership troika.

The rise of the far right might be the fuse on the eve of the country in the eurozone and cause problems in Europe and the region of Southeast Europe and the Eastern Mediterranean.

Excesses will tell someone. Maybe. But Hitler as hilarious phenomenon encountered in the beginning ...

Greece grapples with shadow of Golden Dawn

By Kerin Hope in Corinth

Members of the right wing Golden Dawn party celebrate their election success out of their office in Thessalonika

Alexandros Pnevmatikos draws a line across his throat with one finger, mimicking a threat by a member of the far-right Golden Dawn party during a recent protest.

The two-term socialist mayor of the southern Greek city of Corinth was jostled, then pushed violently to the ground, by a group of men in black T-shirts bearing the party’s the swastika-like symbol. He claims he was attacked for declaring a few days earlier that “fascism will never prevail in Greece”.

“Golden Dawn have taken to throwing their weight around ever since they won a seat here at the election,” Mr Pnevmatikos whining bitch says in his spacious office hung with paintings of Corinth port and its ancient ruins.

Golden Dawn, which won 7 per cent of the vote in June’s election and entered parliament for the first time, is on a roll, pulling established parties to the right – including Corinth’s socialists. Fuck and YEAH!

The party his tapping into the despair of many at the country’s downward spiral, offering an immediate outlet – and target – for their rage. But here in one of its main strongholds Golden Dawn is also taking politically effective measures in response to Greeks’ fear of crime, and to their poverty. Wow. Actually admitting GD is doing something right? Don't see that very often.

Polls suggest the party has gained ground since the election as anxiety deepens over a possible Greek expulsion from the euro. A poll this week showed a near doubling in the number of people expressing “positive opinions” about Golden Dawn, up from 12 per cent in May to 22 per cent now.

Thanos Veremis, a historian and political analyst, says: “They address people’s feelings of insecurity in difficult times, they offer the unemployed somewhere to belong ... and the immigrant issue gives them momentum.”

Ilias Kassidiaris, the party’s spokesman, denies that Golden Dawn is neo-fascist, despite its symbol and the Nazi-style salute with which members greet Nikos Michaloliakos, its leader. “We are pure Greek nationalists,” he says. And all the other parties are internationalist.

In Corinth, where immigrants sacked from jobs in local vineyards and wineries because of the recession are blamed for a rise in crime against property, the party polled almost 10 per cent – one of its highest scores across the country.

“They went round the villages saying that if they got into parliament they’d call for every immigrant to be deported,” says Panos Damalos, an activist with Anti-Racist Initiative, an immigrant support group.

Whereas in America both parties cater to invaders.

Since the election the conservative-led coalition government has been accused of jumping on the racist bandwagon by launching a sweep of thousands of illegal immigrants in Athens and other cities, detaining them in closed camps to await deportation. A few thousand out of 1-2 million. Think about that. Think hard. Will it make a difference? (no) Is it for show? (yes)

Nikos Dendias, citizen protection minister, says the programme – jarringly named Xenios Zeus after the ancient Greek god of hospitality – will continue until the end of the year.

Greece has also tightened security along its northern border with Turkey, the main illegal entry point for immigrants heading for the EU, citing fears of a big inflow of refugees from the conflict in Syria.

Golden Dawn members have been accused by anti-racist groups of systematically beating up immigrants in late-night attacks in central Athens. Small groups of bikers, called “storm troopers” by the party, roam immigrant neighbourhoods under the guise of preventing crime.

“People don’t usually get much help when they go to the police [about these attacks],” says a restaurant worker from Bangladesh who gave his name as Hussein. “It’s very hard to give a description of someone who comes after you wearing a motorcycle crash helmet.” Go back to Bangiland, you miserable little turd-colored shit.

Hussein said attacks on immigrants in his neighbourhood had risen since the election. “It doesn’t matter whether you have papers or not. Anyone dark-skinned can be a target.”

Golden Dawn’s position takes no account of Greek legislation allowing immigrants to obtain residence and work permits.

“There is no such person as a legal immigrant,” says Mr Kassidiaris, a former Greek army commando whose approval rating soared after he slapped a female Communist parliamentary candidate on a breakfast television talk-show. People hate cunts. People hate communists. People hate cunt-communists. People like seeing cunt-communists slapped. They like seeing their heads cut off and stuck on poles even better.

This week Mr Kassidiaris revealed that he had asked to be stripped of his parliamentary immunity from prosecution ahead of an appeal court hearing of an armed robbery case in which he is accused of driving the getaway car. He denies involvement in the robbery.

The case has highlighted alleged connections between Golden Dawn and the Greek criminal underworld. “We get reports their members are involved in protection rackets, sometimes in collusion with the police,” Mr Damalos says.

Yet Golden Dawn has also tried to build an image of social responsibility, through regular food distributions to needy Greeks registered with the party and by providing a service to accompany pensioners to the bank in neighbourhoods where muggings – which they blame on immigrants – are frequent.

Maria Tsalpatura, a 75-year-old retired schoolteacher, says she calls Golden Dawn every month before she goes to collect her pension. “They come on time and they’re very polite, I think they offer a real service,” she says. Ah, perhaps the first time a real Greek has been interviewed about the good GD does.

Some of the party’s post-election initiatives have caused outrage, such as a proposal to set up a blood bank that would serve only Greeks – angrily rejected by hospital doctors.

But the Corinth mayor and his supporters found themselves on the same side as Golden Dawn last month, despite their political enmity, when the government decided to move a group of immigrants into a disused military camp on the city outskirts.

Police clashed with angry residents after 400 immigrants arrived in trucks to live at the base. Golden Dawn members joined in the protest.

Mr Pnevmatikos ordered the water supply to the camp cut off for several hours in protest against the decision. “It was unacceptable for the ministry to send all these people here without even discussing it with the city authorities,” he said.

“There’s a big backlash in the city because of fears of a mass escape by immigrants trying to get to the port and on to a ship for Italy ... They shouldn’t be staying here.”

Mr Michaloliakos, the Golden Dawn leader, echoes the Corinthians’ reaction. “Why should Greek taxpayers subsidise a fully-catered stay in a holiday camp for people we don’t want?”

Op-Ed: The hypocrisy of Greek political immunity

By Katerina Nikolas
Sep 20, 2012 - yesterday in Politics

Greek Members of Parliament enjoy immunity from prosecution, thanks to a law initiated by current PASOK leader Evangelos Venizelos. Thus the corrupt elite can commit financial crimes with impunity.

If there's one thing Greece's far-left and far-right have in common it is their mutual cry to have parliamentary immunity from prosecution lifted. Both SYRIZA and Golden Dawn (Chyrsi Avgi) called for the protective law to be repealed in their election campaigns.

Ironically Greek parliamentarians are now calling for the immunity from prosecution to be waived for some lawmakers, but not for all. Following a spate of violent actions led by Golden Dawn MPs, which include demanding with menace to see market vendors ID cards, and attacking illegal immigrants that were illegally working at traffic intersections in Kalamata, parliament is calling for the immunity to be lifted for those Golden Dawn MPs involved.

Ekathimerini reports Supreme Court prosecutor Yiannis Tentes has informed authorities they are allowed to detain MPs if they are seen committing felonies. Whilst it is right that lawmakers should not be above the law and held to account if caught committing criminal acts, parliamentary immunity continues unabated for those politicians who have committed acts of financial crime against the Greek people.

According to Ekathimerini the Financial Crimes Squad has compiled a list of "30 politicians including former ministers, current lawmakers, local authority officials and general secretaries at ministries, who it is investigating for corruption and tax evasion." Recently all members of parliament agreed to authorize Greek banking authorities to examine Swiss bank accounts to ensure taxes had not been evaded: not surprisingly the Swiss banks refused the request, thus protecting the criminal act of tax evasion committed by at least some of the Greek parliament. That's good. Banking privacy, even if abused by criminals, is a White thing.

Golden Dawn MPs have been using violent actions to enforce laws which have remained unenforced by authorities, thus taking direct action. According to this report Golden Dawn members recently attacked a hospital doctor. Whilst their violent method should be condemned the reason for the attack was the doctor demanding the infamous "fakelaki"; a brown envelope stuffed with a cash bribe before treatment of a sick patient would be considered. Doctors are amongst the most prolific group to evade taxes by under declaring their income and topping up their salaries with cash bribes. Even in the midst of the worst financial crisis in decades some in authority are still milking the vulnerable without fear of prosecution. Harsh austerity measures have not put an end to the Greek fakelaki system. Separate medicine from the state and the bribery problem will clear up.

Thus far the only lawmakers to offer to waive their immunity from prosecution are actually Golden Dawn MPs. Golden Dawn keeps its promises. They intend to use the courts to explain their direct actions were necessitated by the state's failure to implement laws. Three Golden Dawn MPs are likely to face prosecution for their actions if their immunity is lifted as requested. Yet at what point can the Greek people expect to see those politicians who have profited financially from their immunity prosecuted? The matter of their immunity is not open to debate and lawmakers who have milked the cash cow from New Democracy and PASOK will continue to enjoy their ill gotten gains stashed away in Swiss bank accounts, without fear of reprisals.

The alleged ... "Boos" from triteknous
Friday, September 21, 2012 - 20:39

Another company kakostimeni misinformation from the channels of interactions.

This afternoon three-member delegation of the Golden Dawn (Elias Kasidiaris, Panayiotis Iliopoulos, Apostle Gletsos) went to concentration triteknon outside the Ministry of Finance, following requests from members of various clubs. Currently she was bureau within the ministry and representatives of Golden Dawn opened discussion with the world in a perfectly friendly tones. During the discussions a stranger hitting and discreetly called protestors not talk with us, not right etc. Kasidiaris After Elijah told the television cameras that is the concentration as a member of families with three children and that the state should subsidize instead marginalizes parenthood, our delegation departed.

At that time, the person mentioned above along with a couple of leftists - who had nothing to do with triteknous - shouted hiding in a crowd "Outside the fascists" to receive the response they deserved by our representative. Soon they reached the point of the leaders of clubs ask us to resolve this misunderstanding and "do din" (there Kasidiaris Elijah replied, laughing: "But not on us that ..."). Eventually the Bureau of triteknon came to our offices to parliament to deliver it in writing their demands. Falsified This event channels of interactions and told a bunch of lies and nonsense about ... "Barracks" etc.

Two new polls: Fixed third party Golden Dawn with continuous upward trend!
Friday, September 21, 2012 - 22:32

Gathered coming polls-slapping for the political establishment. Two So polls today saw the light of day, one of the company Rass for a new weekly newspaper 'petty', released tomorrow the first sheet and the second for the company Metron Analysis for the newspaper "Investor." In two polls the Golden Dawn is steadily third party, with continuous upward trend.

More specifically, the survey of Rass, the Golden Dawn is the third party with a net 9.3%, versus 8.2%, PASOK has passed in the fourth position (SW leads with 24.2% against 23.1% SYRIZA). And there is still room for growth for the Golden Dawn, as there is also a 10.2% voting undistinguished.

In the second survey, the Metron Analysis, the Golden Dawn is again third party and has to be received by 8.8% compared to 7.3% in the fourth PASOK (SYRIZA here before with 20.8% against 19.6% of ND. However, these figures are without the reduction of white-void and generally known as "undistinguished vote. With the necessary reduction, the rates of the Golden Dawn soar to 11.7%, while the plus-minus because of statistical error is estimated that rates of the Golden Dawn will be 9.4% less and 14% more!

Interestingly and Table popularity of political leaders, to whom the Secretary our movement gathers 21% of positive opinions!

The rapid rise of the Nationalist People's Movement can no longer hide. The Nationalist gigantic river every day and soon will sweep over the course of all traitors, and foreign and local moneylenders and xevromisei this blessed and soaked with blood Greek heroes site!

Chrysochoidis brazen attack against the Golden Dawn
Friday, September 21, 2012 - 17:50

Double attack against Greek nationalist movement launched by former minister PRO-PO, M. Chrisochoïdis from the parliament and step by step the media ...

In the House, said of the Golden Dawn: "The role is national detrimental. Because stochopoiei country, a country marked by the UN, as the country has racist beliefs. What foreign investment will come in this country when such attitudes or purporting to have such perceptions? Grisly is to do this thing. " While obviously, he sees his role nationally beneficial because it passed the Memorandum of our misery, and without first read it, as he admitted later. People won't invest in Greece if it's filled with Greece! They will only invest if it's 1/3 Greeks, 1/3 Bangladeshis and 1/3 Nigerians!

The second attack was made by real fm, the frequencies of which the former minister PRO-PO gave support to now, the unorthodox war (by actions outside the law and the Constitution) because as she said ... dramatic style: "The phenomenon must be addressed immediately prior to mourn the victims. "

Of course, the former minister PRO-PO ... has experience on this issue, because as a minister was not directly address the issue of illegal immigration-crime, resulting in Athens and throughout Greece-turn in Kabul ... and weep constantly victims the unbridled fury of racist "miserable economic migrants" by the Greeks! Indeed, not only Greek citizens have been unable to protect a minister "Citizen Protection" (Pre-AP), but nor himself! Do not forget, he was the recipient parcel-bomb, which ultimately paved the adjutant, so find tragic death. The former minister, therefore, is entirely inappropriate to speak about such issues, because as the saying goes "in glass houses do not talk about rope!"

'Champions' undeclared foreign labor - That sinking funds
Friday, September 21, 2012 - 15:03

The Minister of Labour Minister PRO-PO was Thursday. As announced, theme of the meeting was uninsured (or "black") work and to treat. After the meeting, the minister PRO-PO stated that "the uninsured work is financial crime."

And who are the champions ... of uninsured working? According to official data of the competent ministry, 47.7% of the foreign workers in Greece are uninsured. This percentage is significantly higher than the previous year, as it was 39, 8% in 2011 and 37.9% in 2010.

One, therefore, additional problem because of the "miserable economic migrants" is sagging and insurance funds. Problem here, problem there, the problem further, problems everywhere. After we create so many problems, why the Greek state does not send them back to where they came from, as proposed by the Golden Dawn?

Action against Anna Panagiotarea for libel
Friday, September 21, 2012 - 13:07

Sought compensation 300,000 euros, which will be entirely in the financing of public benefit activities of the Golden Dawn.

On the occasion of slanderous attack Anna Panagiotarea by columns of Free Press, a representative of the Golden Dawn Elias Kasidiaris filed suit against the journalist and the newspaper. The alleged abusive text reads as follows:

"... Anyone heard the absurdity of the representative of the Golden Dawn-oryomenos against honest and capable of Citizen Protection Minister Nikos Dendias told him" representative of Jewish interests as a lawyer of the Rothschilds' understands that psychopathy is possessed by that ill bred by matrix unrelated the Greek culture, Greek traditions, the Christian ethos. Are complaints which were sent to the crematoria thousand innocent ... ".

And follows the ground treatment: Because of the above publication was brutal attack of my personality as a natural person, scientist and practitioner, and being the spokesman of the political party and therefore entitled to seek compensation for moral injury I suffered, and should the defendants throughout each be required to pay the sum of three hundred thousand euro (300,000), jointly and severally, in compensation for moral damage, which would be allocated entirely to finance charitable activities of the Golden Dawn .

GOLDEN DAWN EVERYWHERE - New offices in Michaniona
Saturday, September 22, 2012 - 00:21

On Thursday, September 20, 2012 the team of the Prefectural Administration of Thessaloniki visited Michaniona for contacting and informing comrades there. During the visit took place in the massive registration GOLDEN DAWN new friends and supporters of Michaniona and Epanomi.

In the coming weeks we will announce the date of the inauguration of our new office in Michaniona. Already the local population embraced this endeavor, since we were the only ones we stand by their side in large problems. The strong actions of the People's Association - Golden Dawn in the area have been going on about 3 years, when they become the first clashes between the locals and the Egyptian fishermen and leftist organizations were quick to take the side of the latter. We were the only ones who stood on the side of ordinary people who had right on their side and all the other parties of "patriotic" space turned their backs.

The great interest of the world and the desire for active participation and involvement heartwarming. We are now everywhere and multiply in spite of the political establishment and system.

Smile Golden Dawn NYC Webmaster

I just got off the phone with the Golden Dawn webmaster in Jew York City at www.xanyc.org . He completely agreed with me that a donate address is needed and is working on the problem. He is also working on translating the few best stories from the Greek website http://www.xryshaygh.com on a timely basis.

They have good video production facilities in Jew York City. He agreed with me that English subtitles are highly useful. He also claims to be aware of this thread on VNN Forum.

Sadness when thinking about what and why they talk ...
Friday, September 21, 2012 - 09:55

The view of the SW for the Greek flag in the top photo. And our view and the appropriate respect to our national symbol and even unannounced:

Replace damaged Greek flag by members of the Golden Dawn N.Achaias

The event in Meligala Messenia was accompanied by a small action N.Achaias members. At the entrance of the Tower, at the height of Filothei specifically observed that the Greek flag that was hanging on the tissue just a few meters away from the highway-it was in disrepair. Torn as if this is some kourelopano and abandoned by their officers. How difficult was it to move to the main replacement? But not difficult for kids in black T-shirts! Here, for the word of truth.

I notice that in the last week Golden Dawn has begun to fuzz out faces in its photographs. I'm not sure why. Perhaps for legal reasons or to guard against leftist reprisals.

Greece - Turkey: Roads antiparallel ...
Friday, September 21, 2012 - 00:13

The Greek-Turkish Friendship is certainly the shortest joke throughout the postwar period, if not the entire 20th century

Only the joke it produces no laughter for us Greeks. In contrast, the Turks can laugh with glee soul. Parenthetically mention that the friendship of two or more parties requires self-determined subjects (individual or collective), which come voluntarily and in good faith in a mutual relationship of respect, which kept some necessary balance and do not violate the rights and acquired one or more of the parties involved. Details of the above wording on respect, reciprocity and good faith have announced numerous times by "Greeks" and Turkish officials, but never in the postwar (particularly) period were fact. Instead the last decades we have witnessed an-other without historical precedent-increasing provocation and aggression on the part of Turkey against Greece, with our country engage-through-exonimenis political leadership in a national karpazoeispraktiko chatziavatismo ineffable. The area in which the antiparallel orientation of the two countries is well known, is that the operational readiness of the Armed Forces and of course equipment. The latest developments in this sector cause terror. The weakening of the Greek Armed Forces, took decades to be done, but it seems that lately, and on the pretext of economic hardship given the coup de grace. Despite pre-election commitments of the current Prime Minister to increase the military service and will focus on the security of the citizen, not only increased the term, but closing fifteen centers recruits from the twenty-five that exist today. According to sources, is likely to remain open four centers in the Peloponnese, two in Athens, one in Epirus, one in Central Greece, one of four in Western Macedonia and another in western Greece or Crete.

That is, once again, the only commitment made is the failure to observe the pre-election commitments.

Also, a significant blow-mercy-crisis will come under the spearhead of the Greek defense, the Air Force us. A large number of aircraft withdrawn and not replaced by new ones. Specifically, permanently withdrawn about 50 fighters and A-7E TA/7C the PA and RF-4E, as it became known by the Chief of Air Force Air Marshal Antony Tsantiraki. Likely to follow withdrawals and Mirage 2000EGM/BGM and after the F-16 Block 30 by 2015, reaching a loss of approximately 120 combat, staying with only about 120 combat aircraft. On the other side of the Aegean But our good "friends" doubles the Air Force and constantly update! Moreover, Turkey has already taken the first step in the construction of its own ballistic long-range missiles. The Turkish missile, named SOM, has a range of about 300 km. Identification of countercurrent reality there are many and not only past historical events and are beyond strategic choices. I refer to minor news usually spend in the small timeliness of SMEs, however, demonstrate eloquently equally basic guidelines of policies pursued by the two countries.

Television diplomacy and cultural imperialism

The Turkish TV production companies in their negotiations with the local tourkokanala, managed and imposed eventually settled status in not compiled by the Turkish lines. The ANT1 However, in order to avoid negative comments tilekritikon and the public about the transmission of the series "Suleyman the Magnificent", attempted to convince the Turkish companies to avoid the term "grand" and the number to be called simply "Suleiman" for to receive the following reply: "The title will contain the" Magnificent "or there will be no saga." And of course the Turks have every reason to insist on their positions, as demonstrated by another newspaper "Hurriyet", indicating that the transmission of the Turkish series in other countries has contributed significantly to increasing interest in language touriki. Particular reference is made to this publication and the Greek public, which has learned a number of Turkish words. At the same time, punch the Greek State mnimoniakou xeftilas, provide facilities for Turkish investors, as in the case of Mehmet Karantints from Marmaris opened a Turkish bath at Kos. Which is a surprise! In this work a steam Greeks, who were trained in Turkey. Cheers. Here are investments!

How we digest ...

Recent research in Turkey published by the newspaper "Hurriyet" reveals sympathy for other Turkish peoples. In this study, the Turks responded positively they see the Americans and the Germans by 48%, while for the Greeks, the "favorite" reached only 17%. Of course, nothing new there research tells us, because we know historically the feelings he has for us neighbors. These must be seen by the Greek-speaking politicians so many years trying to convince us that it is possible a reciprocal relationship with the Turks. Another fact that proves the "sympathy" towards us is respect shown by the historic Christian churches in occupied Cyprus. According to the newspaper "Chavantis", the courtyard of the Church of Saint George in occupied Famagusta has become skopidotopos and vevylosi of sacred space is completed by some who use it as a urinal. Generally seeing lately Turks to behave in our country as if it were their province. The essential question, however, is not the view for us, but the treacherous role of Greek-speaking politicians, who do not seem to be bothered at all by this attitude of the Turks. Quite the contrary, in diagkonizontai subservience and concessions, deservedly claiming the title of the young scoundrel (Turkistan coglan = Christian child who was serving on the service of Turkish sultans).

Support for Golden Dawn on the Rise

By Miranda Flint on Sep 20, 2012 with Comments 3

The popularity of the anti-Semitic, anti-minority party Golden Dawn is rising in Greece. Indeed, according to Katerina Nikolas of Digital Journal, “the popularity of the ultra-nationalist Golden Dawn has risen 10 points since May.”

Golden Dawn’s rhetoric is often offensive. According to Andy Dabilis of the Southeast European Times, they have referred to the disabled as “undesirable” and have put up “hate” flyers around Greece’s gay districts. Dabilis also reports that Golden Dawn members have pushed for Greek to serve only Greeks.

Golden Dawn’s anti-minority policies extend past mere words. In July, Liz Alderman of The New York Times reported that in July, Golden Dawn members armed themselves with “heavy wooden poles”, mounted motorbikes and drove through the town of Nikaia, threatening immigrants.

According to Alderman, they told immigrants in the area to leave, or they and their businesses would be set on fire. Police, says Alderman, sympathized with Golden Dawn. One immigrant, Mohammed Irfan told her that law enforcement officers said that they “did not have time to come to the aid of immigrants like him.”

Meanwhile, according to BBC News Europe, earlier this month, Golden Dawn members raided a street market in the city of Rafina. During the raid they checked immigrants’ papers and knocked over their booths, sending their wares scattering across the ground.

According Dabilis, Golden Dawn has also promised to rid the country entirely of illegal immigrants and to “plant landmines on the borders to make sure no more came in.” However, some in the Greek government are trying to combat Golden Dawn. According to BBC News Europe, Justice Minister Antonis Roupakiotis is pushing for harsher punishments for race-based crimes. The BBC also reports that the public order ministry has declined to continue protecting Golden Dawn’s MPs.

Still, support for the party continues to increase. Part of the reason for this may be that Golden Dawn party members have given Greek citizens free food – a welcome gesture during Greece’s long recession. According to Derek Gatopoulos of The Associated Press, Golden Dawn members passed out “milk, pasta, potatoes and olive oil” to Greek citizens who showed them ID cards, proving that they were in the country legally.

Informative action of the Golden Dawn in fair Trikala
Thursday, September 20, 2012 - 22:22

Dozens of members of the local organization of Trikala in collaboration with STEP comrades from Karditsa proceeded to campaign at the annual fair of Trikala, Sunday, Sept. 16, handing out thousands of flyers and newspapers of our Movement. The aim of the intervention was to inform people about Trikala problems facing Greek peddlers from the scourge of paremporiou (illegal vendors) and gray. Problems that touch us all, as billions of euros each year go to third countries, while denying thousands of jobs and liquidity in the Greek market. Also, an extension of the same problem, are multinational companies that operate without any control and unfair competition to the detriment of the economy and small Greek companies that lead to thousands of locks every year. A state that clearly favors the global capital and neo-liberal internationalists and supporters, but the Greeks hit violently with massive unemployment and of course national and social interests. This action was a precept to our fellow citizens to support only the Greeks and their businesses.

Certainly heard a lot in recent days by various local lovebirds, who claimed that "Chrysafgites will dissolve the festival" and several others blithely, with the obvious aim of course, to terrorize the local population and to demonize our movement.

Impression also caused us and the fact of increased controls on municipal police and municipal authorities with regard to illegal vendors, for the first time ever running the trade fair .... Fact, of course, that was not enough, foul figure that the fair with dozens aliens have secured licenses early, which shows the economic stagnation and poverty which have become the Greek merchants and businesses as opposed to each kind stranger, in the years of memoranda, international and local moneylenders topotiriton them.

Slavery to the Greeks!

[summary: the communists and System criminals begin to smell the demise of their filthy regime, and in desperation they fling about 'anti-fascist' front and 'democracy']

Terrified, the "progressive intellectuals" are "anti-fascist front of the SW as the KKE"
Thursday, September 20, 2012 - 19:28

To not lose ... 'scoop'

They have lost the eggs and baskets, the last remaining pseftodexioi, centrists and left pockets of rotten metapoliteftikou cleptocracy system, with the unprecedented rise of the Nationalist movement of the Greeks! And I do not know what to do and how to protect themselves from imminent collapse of the rotten edifice. According to many of them, the only solution is to leave the incumbent forces Falsified aside (for the eyes of the world ...) differences and unite before the public for all risk (the loss of the paddle ...), forming a " broad anti-fascist front "against the Golden Dawn! Such a view unchanged reprint today (it will say democracy!), Titled "antifascist front and reformatory sectarianism." It Sotiris Valden, "economist-university" as signs, known left we would add (with tenure at KKE interior, hence orphan Ceausescu ...), and we fished from the official website of SYRIZA (left. gr).

And an observation before deliver to your judgment: The lefty columnist refers to a broad front "of the Southwest as the Communist Party." We think it should be added to this fascist forehead and other democratic forces ... like freaks Exarchia are masked, the Conspiracy of Cells of Fire, etc., to see-finally-and this ... dimokrataros the "repressive software "(type Securitate, the brutal secret police idol - N. Ceausescu), which listens but does not ... see. Behold the invitation of the regime 'Terrified' pseftoproodeftikou and your own conclusions:

"Terrified watching-we and Europe-the rapid rise of neo-Nazism in our country, with scenes and situations more and more reminiscent of '30s Germany. One would expect a pandimokratiki fascist mobilization. Unfortunately, this is not observed.

The reactions of the government and the parties supporting it is-at least yet-subdued. O panic in front of the Golden Dawn's popularity seems to be paralyzing effect. Hear words, but essentially political-action, communication, sedatives-not see. The media seems to be gaining the theory that "interests" (democracy or the audience to be treated ASE party as normal, as was the Karatzaferis. Some people imagine that they will face the risk of Falsified and Badly business type "Xenios Zeus".

Unfortunately, there was a problematic attitude to circles mnimoniakon "reformers" from whom one would expect most powerful fascist reflexes. For many of these friends (of course there are honorable exceptions), the rise of the ASE used as an argument for "vindication" of their views on the left and the Greek society:

The advent of fascism interpreted as a result of growing lawlessness Left and trade unions. Another remembers KNAT, others Fotopoulos, others giaourtomata and together the Tsipras. To what incubation snake! Yesterday, in fact, well-known representative of this climate-yielded by NET-responsibility and the (old) PASOK, with his motto "Greece to the Greeks."

The main problem with such approaches is their scientific validity. Fascism certainly did not fall from the sky. Exploring his roots, certainly highlight attitudes and practices that predate pervasive in society and fueled the phenomenon. Here too we observe an asymmetry in the analysis. The passion against SYRIZA and the other leads antimnimoniakon "reformers" to overlook how our phenomenon ASE not flourished, eg, 2000 for Simitis, but today, the Greek citizen has come to despair of the barbaric measures "adaptation" and punishing the Greeks today when unemployment is at 25% and 55%-in people today that illegal immigration has enormous growth with their "partners" whistling indifferent to us, today, finally, that the credibility of the political world has reached zero. If so we are looking for the roots of evil, we would do well to see the forest, not just some trees.

For older, this case reminds forty years ago a discussion about who brought the dictatorship. The innovators of the Left had then criticized his responsibilities maximalism of Andreas Papandreou and the ECN. But some went further in and alongside the right-and the junta claimed that the dictatorship was brought ... Andreas and not the Palace, and the right para.

The question of course is not academic, but political. Long cultivated a new dichotomy in Greek society: on the one hand, the "bad" with SYRIZA, CPG, ASE, Burn, syndicates, old-PASOK and generally any antimnimoniako (with peak always Tsipras), and the other 'good', with ND, what is left of PASOK, the "ruling" DIM.AR. (Except Voudouris) and Mr. Manos. This division is problematic for several reasons. In case, contrasts and with the requirements of pandimokratikou antifascist front, so that appears to distract from the "main enemy." With (unilateral) sociological analysis, in practice the risk of compromising ASE bulldozed everything (even the yogurt with assault battalions) and most importantly, undermine or shrink in the small front yards of each mnimoniakon broad antifascist unity . Another stylish and other raw, some "reformers" say the Tsipras and others do not differ so profoundly from the thugs of Michaloliakos. So, how can our names with them against the ASE?

Today we need urgently one anti-fascist front that included everyone from the LD as the Communist Party and especially the great majority of people, you should not equate opposition to barbaric measures and the real decay of the political establishment with Nazi bullying. Needed nationwide initiatives and mobilizations. This is why, I think, pressing the "reformers" to abandon sectarianism, at least on the issue of ASE and operate in a common struggle. The same of course applies to those who "the left" would like to limit the scope of an anti-fascist mobilization. Let us concentrate here all the rising risk, not the vindication of our view of the Memorandum. "

Greek neo-Nazis exploit fears to raise profile
(09-20 18:18)

Following its unprecedented election to parliament, Greek neo-Nazi group Golden Dawn has been engaged in law and order crackdowns and solidarity gestures that have boosted its popularity, alarming the state.

In recent weeks the once-fringe group has organized Greeks-only food handouts and blood donations, and has twice ousted migrant peddlers from street markets to the delight of local operators and the outrage of authorities, AFP’s Catherine Boitard reports.

Tightly regimented and dressed in black T-shirts stamped with the meander, an ancient Greek motif, Golden Dawn is also suspected of orchestrating a rising trend of racist violence against foreigners, legal or otherwise. And it has sent squads of black-clad supporters to harass and intimidate political opponents at public events.

The government has accused Golden Dawn of attempting to usurp the role of the police and warned that “storm battalions'' would not be tolerated, a direct reference to the paramilitary gangs that helped Adolf Hitler's rise to power.

Public Order Minister Nikos Dendias earlier this month stripped the group's 18 lawmakers of their police guards after one of them was allegedly implicated in the smashing of immigrant trading stalls.

Golden Dawn retorted that it was fully entitled to help merchants and traders brought low by the crisis and accused the government of “taking the side of smugglers and illegal migrants.’’

The group's ratings have risen to over 10 percent in recent opinion polls.

“They seek to appear as the upholders of the law’’ to a nation groaning under a third year of austerity measures and decades of political corruption, criminologist Sophia Vidali said. “It's a strategy reminiscent of Italian neo-fascism in the ‘70s.’’

The self-styled nationalist party, which campaigned in June elections with pledges to “scour the country clean'', has capitalized on the perception that undocumented migration has been allowed to run rampant.

It has benefited from judicial inertia and a suspiciously soft-handed response by police, who usually fail to arrest Golden Dawn members even when under direct attack by them.
And it has exploited anger towards Greece's political system which is blamed by most people for the country's economic ills.

“It's a new phenomenon that is very dangerous for the parliamentary system,'' said Yiannis Mavris, a political analyst whose polling institute Public Issue recently recorded the party's rating at “nearly double’’ its score at the last election, where it picked up over 425,000 votes.

Golden Dawn “is here to stay,’’ Mavris said.

A former police unionist who is now a lawmaker recently warned the ruling coalition that planned pay cuts to police “would send 300,000 families directly to Golden Dawn.’’
Dimitris Psaras, a journalist investigating far-right groups, says Golden Dawn has links with German neo-Nazis.

“They are trying to appear as the only credible response to the system,'' he said, deploring the state's slow-paced response.

So far, the government has been forced to tread with caution as the party usually sends its lawmakers – who can only be prosecuted by special permission from parliament – to head street operations.

The Supreme Court has duly called on parliament to lift the immunity of three Golden Dawn lawmakers who were present at the market peddler crackdowns.

Three far-right militants – one of them a former Golden Dawn political candidate – are set to go to trial next week after seven deferrals, accused of stabbing Afghan migrants.

But Justice Minister Antonis Roupakiotis has warned that it will take more than legal action to stop the “inhuman’’ behavior of Golden Dawn members.

“We are wrong if we believe that the Golden Dawn phenomenon can be addressed with legislation. We must seek the causes of this Nazi, fascist and inhuman behavior by Golden Dawn members,'' said Roupakiotis.

Interview Piraeus MP A Golden Dawn, Nicholas Kouzilou in elnewsgr
Thursday, September 20, 2012 - 17:39

How was your first contact with the ideas?

The period of rallies to block Macedonia was in the Golden Dawn and I yelled "blood price Golden Dawn". In 1996 during the funeral of Panagiotis Vlachakou reunited with members of the Golden Dawn. In 1997 a very good friend of mine, who was a member, told me where were the offices of Piraeus and so crossed the threshold of popular nationalist movement.

What should be the attitude of a nationalist consciousness in today's grim reality?

The conscious nationalists will have to live with moral, spiritual and mental values of our nation. The secular nationalism is a way of life, where through everyday everyone shows us the path of virtue. We must respect and honor the tradition.

Finally an easy process the presence of a Nationalist MP in the benches of parliament?

It is not easy. The Chrysafgitis moves worldview 'thought-decision-action'. Within Parliament all move with a snail's pace, with fake smiles, supposedly with kindness.

We blame that many against you with the right wing is set up, you're playing just one game .... What do you say on this?

For what we are talking right? Everyone has mutated into internationalists pawn in international usurers. We and they, rotten palaiokommatiko their establishment and Greek nationalists. Anyone who is against the Nation is our enemy!

Since mnimoniaki government drastically reduces the strength of our army, what will make the movement to address this?

The Golden Dawn is opposed to any reduction. We stand by the Armed Forces and Security Forces. The new coalition is trying on instructions from the troika to reduce our geopolitical power. We find the opposite. We want strong Armed Forces.

Our country is incubator for terrorism and police are defenseless in front of their weapons. What do you propose to solve this issue?

The role of the police should be the prevention and suppression. Finally proposes to let the police do their job, to solve their hands.

What is the position of the movement on the events in the Middle East and what is its relationship to the geopolitical interests of Hellenism in the Middle East?

The purported breakthroughs auditees 'civil' is a rigged game. That the U.S. can not control the damage with pink, red revolutions etc. Greece has always been a close ally in the Arab world. In Syria the involvement of internationalists is evident in its internal affairs.

We do not accuse you plan for illegal immigrants. What do you say to that? And it's really easy process the immediate deportation?

Everything is a matter of political will. We finally implement the laws. Illegal immigrants seeking repatriation how they leave on the next flight? Naturally termination Dublin II

The Other Greek Crisis
Posted by Steve Coll

Mohammadi Younus grew up in Ghazni Province, in the east of Afghanistan, and studied medicine in the northern city of Mazar-i-Sharif. He had “a problem with the Taliban… a political problem” during the dark days of their rule, and he landed in jail. He decided to leave the country and crossed into Iran.

He bought a fake passport for a little more than two thousand dollars and made it to Turkey. He registered there as a refugee with the United Nations and chose Greece as his next destination because he had learned the Hippocratic oath, and Hippocrates was Greek. In 2004, he applied for asylum and was accepted, probably because of his medical education.

It was a rare achievement. That year, he estimates, about six thousand migrants applied for asylum in Greece; he was one of eleven who were accepted. Now there are about twenty-five thousand undocumented Afghans crowded into the country; the backlog of asylum applications has reached sixty thousand. Younus tries to aid the more recent arrivals from back home. He directs the Afghan Refugees and Migrants Community Organization from a modest office off Omonoia Square, in Athens. As he put it succinctly one recent afternoon, “Asylum doesn’t work.”

Not for Greece, at least. The country has been saddled not only with unmanageable debts, austerity budgets, and German condescension but also with the frontline burdens of a broken European Union asylum and migration regime that combines high ideals with deep denial.

At least eight out of ten illegal migrants to the European Union enter through Greece, often by making a perilous raft crossing on the Evros River from Turkey. Mohammadi followed a trail across Iran and Turkey and into Greece that is now attempted by as many as five hundred desperate people each day. There are more than a hundred thousand Afghans, Pakistanis, Bangladeshis, Somalis, Sudanese, Nigerians, and other migrants stuck in Greece—where the economy has shrunk for five consecutive years, and where the unemployment rate for citizens is just above twenty-four per cent.

This migrant bottleneck is the result of an E.U. design that now looks almost as flawed as the euro. It is called Dublin II, and it was struck amid the fiscal, monetary, and economic optimism of 2003. It holds that asylum seekers to E.U. countries can only be evaluated and adjudicated in the country where they enter first. The geography-driven effect of this rule has been to allow Germany, France, and other countries that are attractive destinations for undocumented economic migrants to push off on Greece administrative, welfare, and policing burdens that its weak government could not handle even when times were good.

The Greek financial crisis reflects complicity between profit-hungry northern-European lenders and reckless southern borrowers. The migrant crisis has a darker, portentous quality. The prostrate, corrupt, criminalized Greek state and the restive population it serves lack the will, the capacity, or the clout within Europe to manage Greece’s position in Dublin II. What has Germany offered? It has sent police called “document consultants,” who scan Greek airports and ferry ports “to keep a lookout for suspicious travellers” who might be headed north, as a recent Der Spiegel account described. “The rest of Europe has sealed itself off.”

After all but encouraging a Greek exit from the euro zone earlier this year, European leaders, particularly German Chancellor Angela Merkel, have stepped back from that brink. A Greek election in June delivered a government in Athens that is more plausibly committed to Europe’s fiscal rules, and the fragility of Spanish and Italian debt markets over the summer argued against a gamble that Greece’s departure could be managed as an exceptional case. By the numbers, then, the risk that Greece’s meltdown will destroy the euro now looks much reduced. But the numbers can’t account for the political and social cauldron that austerity and the under-resourced Dublin II regime have combined to create, particularly on the streets of Athens.

In June, Greeks voted for Europe, but they also delivered a record number of votes to Golden Dawn, a previously marginal rightist-nationalist party whose thugs, wearing their signature black T-shirts, terrorize Mohammadi Younus’s clients and other migrants in the capital. When I was in Athens last month, police commanders influenced by the Golden Dawn agenda launched the modern country’s largest ever sweep against migrants, deploying scores of police to check the residence papers of dark-skinned, foreign-looking people. The operation will continue indefinitely, a police spokesman said.

One afternoon, in an Athens neighborhood with a large migrant population, I watched Greek police in body armor pull dark-skinned passersby into lines to examine their papers, before loading the undocumented onto waiting buses, for transport to detention camps. Of course, the camps are decent, and something like the rule of law pertains, but it still looked like a scene from the nineteen-thirties. (It was also a preview of what the streets of Phoenix might look like some day, if Arizona’s most ardent anti-immigrant activists, who have already received partial backing from the United States Supreme Court, have their way.)

Rightist parties have surged across Europe, but they have fallen back after reaching a certain threshold (as just happened in the Netherlands), and probably the same will happen to Golden Dawn. The Greek vote for the rightists had more to do with an anti-incumbency surge than with virulent nationalism; even under pressure, Athens feels in many respects like a tolerant, resilient, forward-looking city.

Yet its stresses are accumulating. The dominant narrative of the European Union’s crisis emphasizes finance over human security; it ignores marginal populations like undocumented Africans and South Asians; and it equates the weaknesses of the Greek state with moral failure. It is a narrative that belongs to creditors; on the streets of Athens, none of it seems in balance.

http://www.newyorker.com/online/blog...in-greece.html

Among my fellow left-leaning intellectuals, a willful suspension of logic permeates the
discussion of illegal immigration. There is no moral equivalence between legal and illegal immigration. Independent nations reserve the right to control who and what enters their respective boarders. To purport that "we are all immigrants" because we are not Cherokee, etc. undermines everything that the United States has built for itself—a free, prosperous, and progressive society. Our rights and freedoms are both enacted and protected by rule of law. We are a nation of laws that is able to support our exploding intellectual and economic growth only because of this fact. Those who forcibly enter our boarders (or foreign ones) undermine this system. Their inclination to join and become a part of what we have built is undercut by their illegal methods. Fairness and transparency are some of the most basic tenants of liberalism and yet the status quo of the international left seems to be rewarding cheaters.

Greece is just but a port of entry for immigrants to get into the rest of Europe although quite a few get stuck there, in fact immigration into my own country Italy (very surprised that it is not even mentioned in the article giving the impression that Greece alone has that problem albeit more acute than others) is probably higher and most of it comes thru land routes starting in Greece although some come by way of the Adriatic to thNe port of Brindisi....on the rest you are right, Europe is a mess on this as well, so much so that Berlusconi signed a pact with Gheddafi to send all those poor souls back to die in the Libyan desert (thankfully Gheddafi is now gone and hopefully our dear Sivio will never govern again)

I was lucky in the extreme to have been born in Canada, one of the richest countries in the world, economically, environmentally, socially and culturally. We have nothing, absolutely nothing to complain about. However, whenever there is the slightest uptick in unemployment or health care costs or education, etc. it is always the immigrants who bear the brunt of criticism. Even though, except for the Aboriginal population, we are all immigrants!

Congratulations on your understanding of the issue. The Greek leaders who signed Dublin II were hopelessly incompetant. Unfortunately I don't share your optimism that Golden Dawn will be weakening any time soon, if anything their numbers are going up. Greece has gone from being one of the 3 safest countries in the whole world to one that has significant street crime, much of it due to the hordes of poor and hungry homeless immigrants (btw there are way more than 100,000). Golden Dawn hides their fascist and racist agenda behind a helpful facade that provides real security for free to thousands of Greek inner city dwellers who feel besieged and abandoned by the police. There's a security vacuum, and they are filling it, little old ladies call Golden Dawn to escort them to the grocery store. At the same time, every psychopathic thug has donned a Golden Dawn black t-shirt and feels licensed to attack innocent immigrants, in many cases to death. Things are extremely ugly, and I fear it will get much worse.

"Rightist parties have surged across Europe, but they have fallen back after reaching a certain threshold (as just happened in the Netherlands), and probably the same will happen to Golden Dawn." I hope you are right, but here in Greece, xenophobic feelings run deep and Golden Dawn is giving people a platform to express these sentiments in the political arena. In June 2012 elections, Golden Dawn got 7% of the votes and won 18 seats in parliament... The economic crisis will only get worse and thus, here in Greece, people will continue to use immigrants as a scapegoat... http://themanyfacesofnewathens.blogspot.gr/

“It’s very hard to give a description of someone who comes after you wearing a motorcycle crash helmet.”

I've had this idea for fighting in street warfare. First it protects your head, second it protects your identity.

Alex: Xryse Ayge has always fuzzed the faces in their photos.
They only show there the "public guys" of the party (that everybody knows). This way they will not help the secret police (from the Greek State, Mossad, CIA, etc) to identified all their members and supporters, and they will not give an easy face to the leftist violence. Also they save them a possible trouble with a single peasant in a photo and "his right to intimacy".
So I suppose that if they don`t have the "legal permit" from a guy in the photo to publish it, they fuzzed his face. It`s an excellent solution to keep (until have enough power to control the streets totally, they must cover their backs from a paki allah clown or a anarpig wanting an easy stab).

Donald Pauly: Please, go on with the Video translations!! and with the DONATE. That`s a MUST. And it`s not a "too much work" to do it, but a real "too much earn" to have with it.
With the english translations support will grow exponentially worldwide, with the donate, this support will turn in cash flow for the group

Kievski: the italian fascists always did that (more for the protection than the identity matter) since almost 40 years. This practice is common cause in Italy half of the youngers use the Vespa scooters, and carry with them their helmets -so is a good "excuse for the police", and also is a good Weapon: one scooter helmet plus one nice stick (aka. a flag just builded as a warhammer, with hard wood, and eay to swing) plus an scarf (this to hide yourself -cause the scooter helmet is open and don`t do it- AND to use it against the tear gas).
This practice was also in some other mediterranean groups (in France, Spain, Belgium).
The saxons and germans where a little supid with that, and their skins just walk like a "photo parade" without any protection (against punches, tear gas, intelligence services taking photos). Now, germans have the "Black Block" style, and at least cover well themselves and don`t disguise like "hollywood skinheads" (just black, with scarfs, gloves). I expect more groups copying this new style -more protection, more secrecy in the marches AND to fuzz the photos in internet. Don`t help the Big Bro posting all your local political structure with photos in facebook or your party site
