Nazi group approved for Valley Forge rally

The white supremacists will gather on Sept. 25. Park officials say the site is open to anyone who pays the fee.

A radical white supremacist group that believes George Washington held separatist and anti-Semitic views similar to its own has received a permit to hold a two-hour rally next month in Valley Forge National Historical Park.

Jeff Schoep of the National Socialist Movement said yesterday he expected that 200 to 300 people representing various organizations, including the Ku Klux Klan, would attend the event on Sept. 25. He said that all "white patriots" had been invited, regardless of ideological differences.

"Valley Forge is important to us because this is where George Washington camped out," he said. "We are patriots, and we are honoring our founding fathers."

Washington fought against the corrupt regime of King George III, said Schoep, 30, of Litchfield, Minn. The National Socialists are protesting the "corrupt dictatorship" of President Bush, he said.

Herman Benninghoff, who with his wife, Joan, has been studying the history of Valley Forge and the encampment for more than 50 years, said that Schoep's statements about Washington as a separatist and anti-Semite were "outrageous."

Washington was a slaveholder, Benninghoff said, but most of the leaders of the colonies had slaves and all the slaves who fought in the Continental Army were granted their freedom.

"Valley Forge was very integrated racially and ethnically," he said. "There doesn't seem to be any doubt about that."

Deputy park superintendent Barbara Pollarine said the group had applied by mail and included the $50 processing fee the park charges for all groups using park facilities.

"This is the Constitution and democracy in action," she said. "Anybody who wants to peaceably assemble and express themselves has a right to do that. Whether it's for wedding photographs, a church picnic, a walk-a-thon or a rally, they all go through the same system."

Pollarine said that the permit allows the rally to be held in the amphitheater below the Muhlenberg Brigade. Arrangements are still being made for parking and security, she said.

"Obviously, we are concerned about everybody's safety - theirs, any protesters, and visitors," she said. Pollarine said that the last time an event like this occurred in the park was in the 1980s when the Ku Klux Klan held a rally.

During the last year, the National Socialist Movement, which is based in Minnesota, has held rallies in Lincoln, Neb.; Raleigh, N.C.; Milwaukee, and Indianapolis.

According to various accounts, protesters usually outnumber rally participants.

Mark Potok, director of the Intelligence Report for the Southern Poverty Law Center, disputed the National Socialists' claim that, with 45 chapters, they are the largest Nazi group in America.

"They will not say how large they are, but we think the chapters are tiny - maybe one or two members," he said.

The group dresses in brown shirts and displays swastikas, which leads some to refer to the group as the "Hollywood Nazis," according to Potok.

The intelligence project monitors the activities of so-called hate groups around the nation. It estimates that there are 29 such groups in Pennsylvania and 30 in New Jersey. Georgia leads the nation with 54 groups, followed by Texas with 53, he said.

"What's interesting about the NSM is that they have put a great deal of effort in recruiting young kids," said Potok. "They have created a special corps of 14- to 17-year-olds called the 'Viking Youth Movement.' "

He said it appeared that the organization was stepping in to fill a vacuum created by deaths and arrests of other white-power leaders.

"They are becoming more important," he said. "There is something going on."

Schoep said he expected the Valley Forge rally to be more effective than protesting or demonstrating at next week's national Republican Party convention.

"The white race needs to come together," he said. "We are the unifying force attempting to do that."

The pictures in question in the below quote do indeed exist, Richard Brunson. There are two persons here that can attest to that in this house, there are still pictures and a cd, plus copies made. Why, even one of the NSM members has a copy of these pics. The first of several pictures I recieved by email today and posted to a webpage because they are high resolution and above the limit for VNN. The link below will verify that Richard Brunsson is just as much as villian as the so-called "Commander" of the NSM. Richard claims that 5 months after I resigned that he dishonorably discharged me. He also claims there are no pictures of Paul Bradleys notebook which he used to record his surveillance of NSM and KKK activities he was invited to as a guest. Not only did he write false articles claiming the Klan security were carrying assault weapons and pistols he placed them on his private webpage along with photos of klansmens faces to reveal their membership to the public. The pics of the other pages have been sent to Sgt. Scott and will be posted soon. They can be blown up and edited to become very readable with a little work. These pics were taken at the NSM 2004 Congress by another member and made available to Schoep and others. Why was their no action taken about this? Well, good question! About the same time of this incident, Bradley was taken to task by Virginia Klan security for putting up a website that portrayed stories and pictures of Klan members and others at a sacred cross-lighting ceremony at one of the Klan rallies. Bradley was notified by the head of Klan security and told to remove names and pictures of their members that had not given permission for him to post. Bradley had to remove the whole site as it was a breach of Klan security and had not been authorized by any member of the Klan. His NSM unit leader was also called and told of this and he assured the Klan that it would be taken care of and pertinent action would be taken concerning the matter. So now that makes one wonder why Commander Jeff Schlepp swears that he has never been aware of any of this , not even the pictures that were taken at the congress. I find this really hard to believe, as the Klan was told that the Commander was taking care of the matter. I know of three nsm members myself that were aware of it and had pics and copies of the pics themselves. How could the 'all-knowing' commander not know of this?? Why the big cover-up of Bradleys treachery, and why no action taken against him??? Perhaps the commander would like to address this for us? I, for one, would like to hear what he has to say. I just posted the next pictures to the website. They're high resolution and take up a lot of memory. What I had done was enlarge them on the computer and make a transcript which I provided to Sgt. Major Wallace Jones of NSM/NC as he was Paul bradleys unit leader and had requested assistance. He was told by Jeff Schlepp at the 2004 Congress he needed more evidence and found out that Bradley had given Jeff a "financial contribution" to stay in. I know they recieved these images because I met with Mr. Jones and we discussed the pictures and the lengthy report he was sending along with them to headquarters to petition that Bradley be out of his unit. The emails on this thread verify that he and Colonel Hoff East Coast director of NSM were addressing the "Commander" about this. For Jeff and Richard to now deny that the pictures exist is as phony as anything I have ever seen. These are the tactics they use to besmirch anyone who realizes they are incompetent.

I also saw lastnight that the NSM speakers list for the Valley Forge Rally was updated to include Brad Jenkins. The Brad Jenkins who attempted the overthrow of Pastor Butlers Aryan Nations and went so far as to copyright the name Aryan Nations Knights of the KKK much the same way as happend to Matt Hale. They listed him as an Imperial Wizard of the KKK rather than print the Aryan Nations name he uses. Another thought out attempt to conceal the past from it's own members who might have not known of that. After discovering they are taking the stage with people like this I know I made the right decision to resign from NSM because even though I am an Odinist and not a Christian Identity I have deep respect for Pastor Butler and would never side with those who have committed treason against him. He was shocked to hear we already had the permits in order, and that they were approved. We filed for permits in June, so they have been long secured.

If this man can come all the way from Southern California, all East Coast/Regional Activists should do their best to stand with us regardless of group affiliation. I am not an agent of Citizens Against Hate nor do I even peruse their websites. The only one I know of who sends messages to those sites is Jeff Schoep. I once wrote a press release for him and it was concerning the assasination of Sheik Yassin and Rantisi, Jeff sent it to the ADL website. I don't work for any anti-white organizations and don't belong to any organization right now. I do correspond with like minded racialist who believe that Jeff is a villian to the White Race not an asset. Many agree with me that Jeffs leadership has done a disservice to all true National Socialists. His only rebuttale is to call them Faggots, or Jews. Since I'm a former member of NSM it's hard to call me those without himself being rediculed for allowing a queer or jew in his group. His only defense is to call me a ZOG agent.

I provided solid evidence that Richards lie of there being no pictures and the lie of me being a One Peoples Project informer are false. Paul bradley is the only one I know of who sent information to OPP and we caught him at that. He even admitted it. Jeff just didn't do anything about it. His bad judgement not mine. I think what Jeff has done with the NSM has rendered them impotent to perform productive activism. WN Groups like NSM live off publicity and free press, but at events like the RNC, when we should be organizing, there is no NSM presence. There couldn't be or they have so many enemies they'd be attacked themselves. NSM sets off an event someplace whereever they find someone willing to put up the permit money and put their name on the permit, then there's a rally where they play rock stars without instruments and the jews all come out to take their pictures. Sometimes there's no more sense behind a rally being held than that, and last minute some idea or another shows up as a good enough reason and that's how it gets recorded. Not that even that is always a bad approach, but we can do better. There are some brilliant minds on our side this time that need to start making some sense of things. I don't even believe it's usefull because it produces more money to ZOG. If I wanted to help the Jews I would encourage Jeff.

Also Jeffrey, If I was in the Citizens Against Hate why would I have spent all my own money sending information to the prisoners and running the incoming mail for you?
