Default Oi vey! Filthy jews on crusade against phone apps

Hello,

So I thought you folks would be interested in these whiny rants by the anti-defemation (or defecation, as I call it) league. Just imagine how average Americans would really feel about the jews if they didn't censor everything that tells the TRUTH about them. Folks are always saying how Arabs don't have free speech and such, but I think it's us goys in the WEST who are kept from the truth.

PEACE

ADL Alarmed By Anti-Semitic 'Protocols' App

New York, NY, August 16, 2012 … The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) today expressed concern over an Apple Inc. app of the notorious anti-Semitic text "The Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion," which was recently made available in Arabic by an Egyptian developer.

"Although we have no indication that the app is being presented in a malicious, exploitative or distorted manner, we remain concerned that it will function solely as a vehicle to spread anti-Semitism," said Abraham H. Foxman, ADL National Director. "That concern is only heightened by the availability of the app in places like Egypt where anti-Semitic themed cartoons are daily fare in the print media and variations on The Protocols' global Jewish conspiracy myth are woven into the highly watched television shows aired during Ramadan. In that environment, easier access to this vile forgery through an app only provides reinforcement for hatred of Jews."

Mr. Foxman added, "The Protocols is among the most virulently anti-Semitic documents in modern times and this app creates a new opportunity for it to be exploited, further entrenching anti-Semitic attitudes, particularly in Egypt and Turkey where print editions of the Protocols are sold widely and is regularly glorified in television programs and movies."

The booklet's 24 sections, which represent the most notorious political forgery of modern times, spell out the alleged secret plans of Jewish leaders seeking to attain world domination. Although thoroughly discredited, the document continues to be used to stir up anti-Semitic hatred. DeShawn's comment: yeah, well if this is supposedly a forgery, why is everything it says about the demonic jews' intentions reality?

Most recently, ADL spoke out when 'The Protocols' were featured in Egypt, Turkey and other countries on Ramadan television programs that are rife with anti-Semitism.

The app, an Arabic translation of the Protocols, contains a disclaimer from the Egyptian developer that notes its origins as a propaganda tool in Czarist Russia that was found to be a hoax after a 1921 investigation, but was widely promoted in the 1930s and used in Russia after the Communist Revolution to encourage anti-Semitism. While this message is similar to disclaimers appearing on other websites primarily in Western Europe and the U.S. where the book is sold, which ADL has supported, it is not likely to be an effective tool for educating users of the app in places like Egypt.

Default Another ADL complaint

ADL Concerned About Re-Launch Of Hezbollah TV App On Google And Apple

New York, NY, August 16, 2012 … The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) today expressed concern about Hezbollah re-launching its smartphone applications, which were previously removed by Apple and Google.

ADL was the first to report on the app, which appeared on July 25 and directs users to con*tent from Al-Manar, the Lebanon-based terrorist organization's satel*lite tele*vi*sion sta*tion that broad*casts mes*sages of hate and vio*lence. Apple and Google later removed the app.

In a statement issued today blaming ADL for the failure of its previous efforts, Al-Manar said the app has been rereleased for the Android operating system and is "back on Ipad and Iphone applications via alternative ways, following the campaign carried out by the Jewish Anti-Defamation League to deactivate Al-Manar applications on smart phones at Google Play and apple store."

"As terrorist groups adapt to new technologies and figure out ways to circumvent restrictions, it is critical for the industry to take appropriate action to ensure that their services are not exploited by terror organizations," said Abraham H. Foxman, ADL National Director. "We will continue to monitor and expose how Hezbollah and other ter*ror*ist orga*ni*za*tions use cur*rent tech*nol*ogy to spread their vio*lent mes*sages and to work with Internet service companies to see to it that terrorists don't succeed in evading industry safeguards designed to prevent the use of these platforms to promote terrorism. Now more than ever, the stakes are too high to be complacent."

Hezbollah is a U.S. des*ig*nated For*eign Ter*ror*ist Orga*ni*za*tion, and Al-Manar was listed as a "Spe*cially Des*ig*nated Global Ter*ror*ist" by the Depart*ment of the Trea*sury in 2006.

Al-Manar broad*casts the ter*ror*ist group's mes*sages of hate and vio*lence, dis*sem*i*nates anti-Semitic and anti-American pro*pa*ganda and glo*ri*fies sui*cide bomb*ings to mil*lions of view*ers 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Al-Manar has a pres*ence on other inter*net plat*forms as well, includ*ing a Twit*ter account with over 17,000 fol*low*ers and 51,000 mes*sages.
