Rabbi David Kramer: Jewish Child Molester

I have recently written about the vicious jewish child molester Samuel David Cyprys who, as a member of the Lubavitch Chabad and teacher their Yeshiva in Melbourne, Australia, raped young boys at knife-point in their synagogue. All while his rabbinical superiors and fellow Lubavitch Chabad devotees knew all about it and actively protected him from the clearly 'anti-Semitic' police who dared to think one of Yahweh's holy horrors could commit a crime. (1)

I have written before about the common place nature of child molestation in ultra-Orthodox jewish communities as well as about how these communities then deliberately hide and cover up evidence. This frequently takes the form of witness intimidation, character defamation and even physical violence on occasion.

The Lubavitcher Chabad Yeshiva in Melbourne is a good example of that given that as well as Cyprys; they have also had two other men they knew (or had good reason to suspect) were child molesters on their staff. These were David Kramer and Daniel Hayman. (2) Unlike Cyprys, who was the son of a rabbi, Kramer was actually an ordained rabbi who worked at Yeshiva. (3) Like Cyprys; Kramer had a large family of eleven children (Cyprys had eight children by contrast) and one rather wonders if he abused them as well, but it was hidden by the community. (4)

Like so many jewish child molesters (and criminals in general) when what he was doing was uncovered in 1992; he immediately fled to Israel. (5) Kramer didn't do it alone however; he was encouraged to do so and the costs were even covered by Yeshiva's rabbinically-dominated school executive. (6)

Rabbi Kramer having found the promised land not quite as promised decided to almost immediately emigrate from there back to the land of his birth: the United States. (7) Kramer chose to take up his abode in St. Louis and volunteered as a youth leader at the Nusach Hari B'nai Zion synagogue only to be discovered exposing himself to (8) and then sodomizing (9) a twelve year old boy in said synagogue.

Kramer pled guilty to five counts of child molestation, (10) was then imprisoned and then deported to Australia to be charged and then convicted again of several more counts of such in April 2013 (which he also pled guilty to). (11)

Given the Chabad Lubavitch rabbinical authorities at the Yeshiva knew about the activities of Rabbi Kramer and actively assisted him to escape. It is absolutey clear that the children Kramer molested have ever right to blame the Chabad for knowingly turning a blind to their abuse and then assisting the abuser to escape justice.

The attitude of the Chabad Lubavitch on the matter is aptly summed up by the testimony of Rabbi Yosef Feldman, the rabbinical administrator of Yeshiva, who 'The Daily Beast' quotes as follows:

'Rabbi Yosef Feldman, the rabbinical administrator at the Yeshivah Centre in Sydney, testified last week that he did not notify police when a mother told him a teacher had massaged her son’s genitals. This was his defense during testimony at the Royal Commission: “I didn’t know it could have been a crime. I didn’t see that as necessarily being sexual… (but) it could potentially be something which is highly inappropriate. I don’t know what the criminal code is and what’s a crime and what’s not a crime. A lot of things could be a crime (when) I don’t think it is.” (12)

Right so if you remember your politically correct myths about Judaism then you'll remember the claim (referencing the Babylonian Talmud on the subject) that pious ('frum') jews should also abide by the laws of the land in which they live.

Now let me ask you if so learned and pious a jew as Rabbi Feldman could have made so grievous an error of interpretation about the letter and the spirit of the Written Torah in his testimony before Australia's Royal Commission?

I wonder who is right?

Is it the apologists for Judaism or the rabbinical authorities who live every day with the 'yoke of the Torah' around their collective neck?

I wonder.
