Default Jewish versus Islamist and Feminist Influence in Twitter's 'Trust and Safety Council'

Jewish versus Islamist and Feminist Influence in Twitter's 'Trust and Safety Council'

As a companion piece to my article about the frightening scale of jewish involvement in Twitter's 'Trust & Safety Council'. (1) I thought I'd write a response to claims that the 'problem' with said council is its inclusion of Feminist Frequency (i.e. basically Anita Sarkeesian) and what can be defined loosely as some feminist organizations.

Also worthy of note is that while there was some noise on Twitter as well as Breitbart about the inclusion of the Wahid Institute. There is barely an Islamic influence on the council at all. All I could find is the Wahid Institute and Hani Khan, the 'Outreach Manager' of ConnectSafely, (2) which represents the sum total of Islamic influence.

This is so inconsequential that the diseased individuals who publish their certifiable ravings at FrontPageMag didn't even try to play the 'Islamic conspiracy' card. Instead Daniel Greenfield published at piece trying to claim that Anita Sarkeesian's website manager, Jonathan McIntosh, is part of some kind of left wing anti-Israel conspiracy within the 'Trust & Safety Council'. (3)

In the first instance given her general behaviour in regard to GamerGate and beyond. I rather think Anita Sarkeesian is more than capable of agency rather than being some kind of female manikin for Jonathan McIntosh as Greenfield necessarily implies.

In the second instance Greenfield states as follows: 'Aside from McIntosh's politics, it's very problematic that a man who hates free speech this much will be helping set censorship policy for Twitter's Trust and Safety Council.' (4)

The problem with that little gem is that it assumes McIntosh is some kind of pro-censorship anti-Israel bigwig with significant influence, plenty of connections to utilize and a huge war chest behind him. Except he hasn't got any of those qualities and he certainly isn't a bigwig.

The elephant in the room here that Greenfield spectacularly fails to mention is that there are only three organizations on the 'Trust & Safety Council' that have significant clout, widespread political connections and huge war chests.

They are the Anti-Defamation League (hereafter ADL), GLAAD and Ligue Internationale Contra le Racisme et l'Antisemitisme (hereafter LICRA). Both the ADL and LICRA are jewish community organizations run to 'combat hate' in their respective countries (the United States/France). In addition to each having track records of trying to clamp down on and criminalize 'hate speech' for around of a century.

The ADL has a budget in the tens of millions. (5) LICRA receives at least 500,000 Euros per annum from the French government in addition to whatever it gets from other sources. (6)

Perhaps Greenfield should name them as the groups 'obsessed with identity politics'? Or would that get him trouble for 'recycling anti-Semitic canards'?

Anyway... quite frankly I can't find a great deal of 'identity politics' outside of jewish organizations on the Twitter 'Trust & Safety Council'.

I mean what have we got on list of parties involved?

One gay rights organization, two jewish organizations, one feminist blog and a lot of anti-bullying/anti-rape/anti-child exploitation charities.

See I am just not seeing the identity politics. Since even though the Dangerous Speech Project, for example, is suitably Orwellian. Its founder and leading light, Professor Susan Benesch, is extremely pro-Israel to the point where she advocates that anti-Israel comments be considered as a offence punishable by the International Criminal Court. (7)

Need I also mention that even seemingly – although not explicitly – feminist groups concerning with 'rape culture' on the 'Trust & Safety Council' are run by individuals who are coincidentally also jewish. The obvious example is Circleof6, which is run by Nancy Schwartzman. Schwartzman is both jewish (8) and associated with the Hillel (i.e. she is sympathetic to, or believes in, Zionism). (9)

Seeing a trend here?

I am.

With 14% (i.e. 7 out of 50 members) of the Twitter 'Trust & Safety Council' being either jewish community organizations or created/run by jewish individuals. (10) It is difficult – without being intellectual dishonest – to say that the agenda behind the Orwellian 'Trust & Safety Council' is such androgynous fluffy concepts as feminism or liberalism. Islamism is completely out of the picture as it has next to no representation on the 'Trust & Safety Council'.

You've certainly had some backlash against anti-feminists like John Stacy McCain. (11) However the majority of the high profile targets so far have been figures associated with the AltRight (i.e. vocal critics of jewish behaviour and Israeli double standards as well as feminism, left wing ideas etc) such as Ricky Vaughn and Vox Day. (12)

So really... who are the real proponents of Orwellian thought policing at Twitter?

Some feminist blog that even sympathisers don't think has much pull with the management? (13) Or two large established jewish communal 'anti hate' organizations that are lavishly funded and have long records of trying to curtail freedom of expression?

Lets be honest: shall we?

The problem with Twitter's attempts at thought policing derives from jewish influence and not Anita Sarkeesian.
