I live in a town in the Bay Area that is majority-Asian. The majority of those Asians are Filipinos. I can tell you from years of direct observation and first-hand experience that many young Filipinos act more like blacks than like Asians.

A woman I knew lived in Indonesia as a child, her father was in the oil business. She confirmed the hate for whites that was felt then.

I liked Linda HUnt. Didn't know she was Jewish, but she's still a good actress, and I saw her in person in Boston when she gave a lecture.

The movie, by the way, was too dangerous to film in Indonesia. They did it in the Philippines.
