KIRKSVILLE, Mo. - Federal authorities have been investigating a Kirksville man who said on his Web site that killing a Canadian judge would be "an act of patriotism," the Adair County prosecutor said.

Prosecutor Mark Williams said Friday he met with agents from the Federal Bureau of Investigation and representatives from the U.S. district attorney's office this week regarding Alex Linder's Web site, the Vanguard News Network.

Federal officials shut down the Web site last week for one day after Linder allegedly made the posting about Federal Court of Canada Justice Konrad W. von Finckenstein and Ottawa lawyer Richard Warman.

Linder told the Kirksville Daily Express that he had not broken any laws.

"I'm here, I'm not in jail and I didn't do anything," he said. "Essentially, you have foreigners messing with our First Amendment rights."

Williams said the FBI would discuss the case with the U.S. attorney's office in St. Louis to decide if any laws were broken, and if so, which ones.

"We have to decide if it violated any of our laws," Williams said. "Anything we say, we have to put up against the First Amendment."

He said federal officials were leading the investigation because it crossed national boundaries. But the U.S. attorney's office would not say if Linder was under investigation.

"We don't confirm the existence of investigations," said Jan Diltz, spokeswoman for the U.S. attorney's office. The FBI also would not comment, said Peter Krusing, spokesman for the FBI in St. Louis.

Calls by The Associated Press to Linder's home also went unanswered.

Williams and Kirksville Police Chief Jim Hughes both received letters last week from Canadian officials regarding the site.

"The Canadian authorities who sent us the letter ... they have taken it very seriously," Williams said. "And they asked us to investigate it, which we are."

The passage was posted after London, Ontario, resident Tomasz Winnicki was jailed for nine months for contempt of court. Winnicki had violated a court order from von Finckenstein barring him from posting hate messages.

After the jail sentence was issued, Linder's Web site had a posting that said killing Warman, von Finckenstein "or any of the Jews who make up the dictatorial 'human rights' council would be a genuine act of patriotism. That is VNN's view."

The London Free Press in Ontario, Canada, reported after being informed of the threats, the Internet service provider shut down the main Web site and the VNN forum July 26.

Linder said he considered the move temporary since he has had to change sites before, the Daily Express reported.

"They can still knock us down, but we can get back up again," he said.

KIRKSVILLE - The Adair County prosecutor is working with federal officials on an investigation into death threats allegedly posted on a Kirksville man's Web site.

Mark Williams told the Daily Express in an exclusive interview that he met with agents from the Federal Bureau of Investigation and representatives from the United States District Attorney's office this week regarding Alex Linder's Web site, the Vanguard News Network.

The Web site was shut down last week after Linder allegedly posted a death against Federal Court of Canada Justice Konrad W. von Finckenstein, members of the Canadian Human Rights Commission and Ottawa lawyer Richard Warman.


Williams and federal authorities are now trying to decide if any laws were broken, and if so, which ones.

"We are trying to figure out if this crosses the line," Williams said. "The FBI is going to further discuss the case with the U.S. Attorneys office and they will contact me."

Williams and Kirksville Police Chief Jim Hughes both received letters last week from Canadian officials regarding the site.

He also asserted he broke no laws.

Linder said this is the 10th time he has had to change sites, and that this time, they have added a number of sites and servers.

"They can still knock us down, but we can get back up again," he said.



Linder said a Web blog version of the Site came back online within three or four days, and the forum site was back this morning.

This sort of crime is being emulated through every U.S. President who make up laws or enact laws that violate the Constitution. Kirksville, Missouri -- The Federal Bureau of Investigation and the US Attorney's Office met yesterday to discuss if there was any pretense under which Alex Linder, publisher of Vanguard News Network, could be arrested for saying the killing of a Jewish judge in Canada would be "an act of patriotism", but have had to refer the matter up to headquarters because they cannot think of any cause off hand.
"I'm here, I'm not in jail and I didn't do anything," Linder told the Associated Press, "Essentially, you have foreigners messing with our First Amendment rights."

Linder published his statement saying that if a Canadian were to kill the Jews responsible for the imprisonment of Thomas Winnicki, it would be an act of patriotism, leading the government of Canada to immediately retaliate against his website. It was shut down for approximately five days before being restored, and is now back online.

The Canadian government has responded with a blizard of letters demanding legal action on the part of US authorities, who have continued "investigating" but have not found any crime to charge Linder with.

Canada is a dangerous and unreliable "ally" of the United States whose arrogant Jewish population regularly imprisons white political dissidents who speak out against the corrupt and multicultural Canadian political system.

For years, Canada has been unable to recognize that US publishers are not subject to the same kinds of human rights violations and its attorneys and government officials have often threatened US citizens who publish material critical of the influence its hateful Jewish population has over its government. This website was briefly shut down by Canadian authorities in 2003 and its publisher, Bill White, has been threatened several times with prosecution in Canada for comments made about Canadian Jewish figures. Members of the National Socialist Movement have been barred from entering Canada while traveling between locations in the United States. And American political dissident Ernst Zundel was kidnapped from his home in Tennessee and deported to Canada to face trial in Germany because of Canadian Jewish hate rhetoric.
