Police are looking at the man accused of murdering a 13-year-old girl as a suspect in two other murders. 13-year-old Esme Kenny was attacked during a run in her Winton Hills neighborhood Saturday afternoon. Her body was found early Sunday morning. She was strangled and part of her body was set on fire. That is what has Cincinnati Police looking at two cold cases.

14-year-old Sheree Crawford was found murdered in Avondale in May of 2006. Her body was set on fire. Five weeks later, the body of 45-year-old Mary Jo Newton was found a few blocks away. Both bodies were burned so badly it was impossible to tell how they died or to get dna from likely sexual assaults. Accelerant was used on both victims.

Kirkland has a long wrap sheet that goes back years, but police say his most recent crime spree lasted about eight days and it got more and more violent, until it ended with a girl's murder. Kirkland was kicked out of the facility where he was living as a registered sex offender February 27th for getting into a fight.

In this developing story alert, Deb Dixon says police have also charged Kirkland with three other violent crimes.

Like the shower scene in in the movie "psycho", Anthony Kirkland is charged with breaking into his ex-girlfriend's Avondale home and jumping out of the shower to stab her new boyfriend with scissors... ten times. Both are in hiding. He surfaced again, four days later, according to police documents. His ex said this time he jumped in her car carrying steak knives violating a protective order. That was two days before 13-year-old Esme Kenney woke up to what felt like the first day of spring. The talented singer and musician went for a jog near home. When the teen, who blogged about playing cello, didn't come home, cops and canines searched. Canines tracking Esme's scene stumbled upon Kirkland in a homeless camp. They quickly tracked his history of violence and they found something else... Esme's watch. Esme's body was found later. She was strangled to death.

Cecil Thomas, Council Member: "We need to look at this and not accept it as unfortunate incident, I'm not going to accept that."

Kirkland and other paroled sex offenders stay here at Volunteers of America on McMicken. Thomas said if they are required to register, they should be required to wear a tracking device.

"The city has the authority to look at what legislation can we require to have all sex offenders on a monitor."

If Kirkland had a monitor, perhaps, he would have been arrested before Saturday, the last day of Esme Kenney's bright life. [nope. we posted a story about a New Orleans nigger that killed a White woman while wearing an ankle monitor]

When I first saw this thread and wondered how this could have happened, I read a couple dozen articles. The location of her home and route are pinpointed. The location of her death is hinted at, but is narrowed down greatly by police and media.

She was only a few hundred feet from her home.

Her home is what made me feel ill.

They were trying to stay hip, and raise this girl a few hundred yards from some of the worst housing projects in that city.

I hope her mother dies slowly of cancer.

Just to the southeast of the Kenney home is the projects. If you look up the street names +nigger you get a lot of hits from new nation news.

There was a nigger named "anwar pugh" who climbed in windows and raped a dozen or so, and stood out for his MO. He was fond of licking his victim's anuses, and I guess that's good because it helped get him caught by dna.

That was just in 2007 that he got sentenced. Her parents surely heard about it. He operated in the projects just a few hundred yard from the Kenney house.
