The influx of refugees in Europe is not a coincidence, it serves the interests of international corporations and certain political forces said German journalist Udo Ulfkotte on Friday in Budapest International Book Festival when introduced his new book called “The refugee industry”.
In his presentation the former journalist of Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung emphasized that for years residents of refugee camps around the world have been encouraged by certain forces to go to Europe.
Ulfkotte told a story of what he personally experienced when he worked as a correspondent in the Horn of Africa, Somalia where a German aid organization was operating a refugee camp. The nomads who lived there for centuries accustomed to regularly walk for kilometers to fetch water; as a result, tribal conflicts often developed with other tribes with richer water resources. Members of the German aid organizations then, told these nomads that they lived an undignified life in their huts, even though they have accustomed to this lifestyle for generations. The nomads then, herded into refugee camps, and the operators of the camps started calling tribal conflicts civil wars; after that aid workers persuaded them to go to Europe.
The media try to make the public believe that the migrants are refugees that flee from wars, but most of the time this is not the case. "The refugee industry" operates like any other business organization, it generates profits just like other businesses. The question is not whether the refugees are good or bad, but who are those that make money out of the migration business - other than the people smugglers commented Udo Ulfkotte.
The pharmaceutical industry, for instance, according to some calculations made € 13 billion out of migrants in 2015.
But mass migration also serves the interests of certain global forces like billionaires George Soros, or the United States.
The global elite doesn’t care about the people the German journalist explained. The influx of migrants and the various conflicts generated by their arrival are often the result of provocation to weaken Europe - he added.
The public interest however, is to inform the people about these taboo topics so that they can learn the truth behind the “The refugee industry” emphasized the German journalist.
Udo Ulfkotte remarked: If I were Hungarian, I would ask the German federal government, on what basis do you ask me to do something that you don't expect from another countries? For example, Saudi Arabia or the United Arab Emirate don't accept a single refugee, even if they speak the same language and have the same cultural background. The journalist added that hundreds of thousands of refugees could be relocated to Saudi Arabia where there are thousands of vacant apartments waiting to be rented. If someone tries to corner you it is because that person has no good arguments to support his claims. Hungarians have very good arguments when rejecting quotas - to preserve their national identity underlined Udo Ulfkotte.
The journalist also said that Hungary alone wouldn’t be able to stop the influx of migrants to Europe because they find new migration routes easily.
