The People's Party – Our Slovakia (Slovak: Ľudová strana – Naše Slovensko, ĽSNS), since November 2015 officially known as Kotleba – People's Party Our Slovakia (Kotleba – Ľudová strana Naše Slovensko), is an extreme right-wing political party in Slovakia.[2][3][4] It is the de facto successor of the ultra-nationalist, white supremacist, anti-Semitic, and para-fascist Slovak Togetherness organisation whose political party was banned in 2006 but continued as a civic organisation.[5] Unlike its predecessor, it denies neo-Nazi links, but characterizes itself as a eurosceptic, nationalist party based on historical continuity with Slovak People's Party that ruled in clerical fascist World War II Slovakia. Party leader is Marian Kotleba, who was in 2013 elected governor of Banská Bystrica Region in central Slovakia.[2]
