Inherently idealistic people like Germans find Jews inherently disgusting in every way, while materialistic Anglo-saxons might be a little grossed out but prefer to take notes.
That's why in the country with the most totalitarian and all-encompassing laws against critiquing Jews, Germany, obvious (at least half) Jews like the EU parliament despot Martin Schulz kind of keep this under wraps, while in America where you technically have the right to say whatever you want about anyone he would be out and about celebrating Channukah in the White House if he wanted to.
