Dr. Pierce held semi-annual leadership conferences where he hand picked promising leaders to visit the National Alliance headquarters in West Virginia.
Well planned. Each invitee, no matter their background, was matched up with an NA employee who can best size them up. I know, I read the internal memos.
I suppose the tragedy is that Dr. Pierce, much like Ben Klassen, never found that "one great promoter", as Klassen would put it.
