Some will recall that this is the same Weiss who politely rejected Kevin MacDonald's non-embrace. I read this piece, and some comments by Rabbi Lerner re: Mearsheimer-Walt, as evidence that the progressive Jews are getting scared. Considering how much more thoughtful they are than the blustering neocon-neolib axis, and with so little else to hang our hat on, I find it encouraging.
