Don't listen to idiots who claim that violence doesn't solve anything. Violence solves everything. Without violence, authority would be impossible. This is because violence is the only means of imposing control over chaos. Without violence, there can be no law and order; violence allows us to apprehend and punish criminals. Land ownership would be impossible without the ability to inflict violence upon others. There would be no civilization if there was no violence. The
Pax Romana and the
Pax Britannia were based on the ability of the Romans and the Britons to inflict overwhelming violence upon their opponents. Even human survival is dependent on the ability to inflict violence upon others. Without violence, there can be no struggle for existence.
In 376 AD, Gothic barbarians fleeing the Hunnic invasions in the east, sent an emissary begging the Emperor Valens for safe passage across the Roman frontiers. Instead of allowing them to be slaughtered by the Huns, the foolish Valens, moved by compassion, allowed the barbarians to settle in Illyria. This was a stupid mistake and proved to be the eventual undoing of the empire in the west. The emperor and an entire Roman army would be destroyed at Adrianople in 378 AD by the same barbarians. The nucleus of the future Visigothic kingdom would be established in 418 AD, when Honorius allowed the barbarians to settle in Gallia Aquitania. The Gothic invasion that precipitated the eventual collapse of the western empire could have been avoided through a simple show of force, driving the barbarians away from the frontier and into the arms of the Hunnic invaders. However, it was a moment of Christian weakness that was the undoing of the empire. The modern west repeats the same mistakes as those made by the Emperor Valens, proving once again that
the only thing people learn from history is that no one learns from history.
The problem with the modern west, as with the western Roman empire, is that it has lost the capacity to inflict violence upon invaders, even when inflicting overwhelming violence upon its opponents is necessary for its own survival. Our cosmopolitan elite have become infected with a malaise that Nietzsche correctly diagnosed as "nihilism." This is a rejection of all metaphysical values, which has resulted in the practice of indiscriminate compassion and a fervent belief in the relativity of all peoples, cultures, civilizations. The commoners have become selfish and grasping. Engrossed in their own materialistic and consumer-oriented worlds, they no longer have the capacity to selflessly co-operate with their own fellow citizens.
These two forces, the nihilism of the elite and the selfishness of the commoners, have contributed to the paralysis of the west in the face of danger, the massive third world immigration that threatens to sweep away all western social institutions and culture. When European civilization was young and vigorous, whites inflicted violence on their enemies without hesitation. This was one of the reasons why European civilization dominated the globe after 1500 and English culture dominated the globe after 1800. Now that the west has entered the winter of its existence, the courage to deal harshly with the new barbarians, the third world invaders, has all but evaporated. Although it possesses the technological capacity to repel the non-white foreigners, the west has become too weak morally and spiritually and now recoils in horror at the thought of defending itself.
