The word 'Holocaust' (as pertaining specifically to the jews' cash-cow) is not found in any major English dictionary printed before (not coincidentally) the Israeli 1967 back-stabbing attack on the USS Liberty. There are probably also a good number of standard dictionaries from the 70's, at least the early 70's, that have no reference to it either.

The earliest reference to the Six Million Dead Jews was a lie printed in Soviet propaganda on 22 December 1944. The author of that lie was Ilya Ehrenberg.
In 1948, The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) published a report on the situation in the German run concentration camps during the war.

First, the report clarifies that many of the inmates in the camps were being held legitimately, as enemy aliens, for reasons of security. Others, though deported for political reasons, were also considered to have interests adverse to those of Germany and so were deported to the camps so that they could not form a fifth column within German territory. You'll remember that Germany had difficulties with just such civilian organizations during World War 1.
The Red Cross committed praised the liberal conditions in many of the camps, such as Theresienstadt, where about 40,000 Jews deported from various countries lived in a relatively privileged community environment. This camp had been started as an experiment by the Third Reich.
The Red Cross report clarified that the deaths occurring in the internment camps near the end of the war were caused by malnutrition and disease, which in turn was caused by a failure of the German transportation system used for supplying the camps—a failure that can be blamed on Allied bombers. The report says, "In the chaotic condition of Germany after the invasion during the final months of the war, the camps received no food supplies at all and starvation claimed an increasing number of victims. Itself alarmed by this situation, the German Government at last informed the ICRC on February 1st, 1945 ... In March 1945, discussions between the President of the ICRC and General of the S.S. Kaltenbrunner gave even more decisive results. Relief could henceforth be distributed by the ICRC, and one delegate was authorised to stay in each camp ..." (Vol. III, p. 83).
The Nazis tried to relieve the danger to the camps as much as they could, but their means were limited by the fact that their railways and roads were bombed out. In summary, the Red Cross, in a three-volume report written soon after the war ended, states that there was no indication whatever of any deliberate policy to exterminate the Jews.
This Red Cross report is probably the most authoritative document on the Holocaust.
