The potential Brooklyn serial killer charged with two murders showed some remorse — but only for his precious white sneakers that got “scuffed up” while in police custody, a law enforcement told The Post on Thursday.
Kwauhuru Govan, 38, was uncooperative with investigators at the 84th Precinct station-house in downtown Brooklyn after his arrest Wednesday for a 2005 dismemberment murder, sources said.
He stands accused of murdering 19-year-old Rashawn Brazell, whose dismembered body parts were found in a blue plastic bag on subway tracks near Nostrand Avenue in Bushwick on Feb. 17, 2005.
He has also been charged with strangling 17-year-old Sharabia Thomas, whose nude body was discovered in a Bushwick alleyway on Feb. 11, 2004.
A police source with direct knowledge of the New York murders told The Post, “
There is a very serious case in California that he may be involved in.”
