Purdue Pharma is now facing a 12 billion dollar lawsuit for its' role in the opioid
crisis and lawyers are pushing for bigger fines. At the time of Kevin MacDonald's article in 12/2017 250,000 Americans had died from drug overdoses since the start of the epidemic. Add 70,000 deaths in 2018 and
perhaps a similar number in 2019 and the death toll is huge. I hope more drug
companies and doctors are held accountable. i do not use any opioids or other
illegal drugs but I can recognize that a lot of white people are in despair and
