If you are going to spend in the $300 range you won’t get a better gun than the SAR for the dollar. However if you plan on spending more make sure you get a milled receiver instead of a stamped one. A milled receiver is cut out of a solid piece of steel where a stamped if folded out of thinner metal.

A milled receiver is more accurate and will last 90% longer. However I don’t see to many people wearing a SAR out but if you plan to shoot over 100,000 rounds you need a milled receiver.
