Sometimes a napkin dispenser dispenses more than just napkins.

In advertising, such techniques are called "guerrilla marketing." They are a form of asymmetrical business warfare that allows smaller companies with meager resources to level the playing field a bit against larger, more-established competitors.

Guerrilla marketing techniques are applicable to political warfare as well as commercial warfare.
