Breanna, maybe it was a combination of boredom, stupidity and a bad case of what Goethe says, chasing the happiness ball and when catching it, kicking it further away again (I think). It got her a rake in the back and she ruined her children's legacy, didn't she. They'll have to liquidate the farm, probably.
The way he killed her was so personal...
Someone needs to write a new book of cautionary tales out of these stories, like Grimm's or Hans Christian. This story is so awful.
