Default Culture Wars magazine

June 08, Vol. 27, No. 7, 50 pages

Subscriptions: $39/year, Culture Wars magazine, 206 Marquette Ave., South Bend, IN 46617

In recent issues, CW has carried EMJ's stories about the NAACP and the jews behind it. This issue's features:

- letter of praise from RBN's (the patriotard network that fired Peter Shank for making WN points) Lutheran pastor Mark Dankof who finds CW indispensable for placing cultural decline in context

- letter from Sungensis on WTC demolitions (he had written an article on same appearing in earlier 2008 issue)

- feature: the other side of the story regarding sex abuse charges and the Catholic church; three priests falsely accused, as 'SNAP,' the group for abuse victims, grows arrogant and careless in the context of never-questioning media; critical of SNAP director David Clohessy; suggestion that pedophilia is less the problem with the minority of deviant priests than is homosexuality

- feature: Jones recounting the rise and fall of Marcus Garvey, the black nationalist who led the back-to-Africa movement.

- long letter detailing Eichman's career from Iwo Cyprian Pogonowski of pogonowski.com, i assume that's not a joke

- reviews of Ralph McInerney's Some Catholic Writers and Nancy Brown's The Mystery of Harry Potter: A Catholic Family Guide. Reviewer and Brown do not have a problem with Harry Potter series, which is surprising because many Protestants do, pointing to witchcraft. WN see the usual diversity bilge in it. Funny thing is both reviewers this issue use the same Flannery Connor quote:

The Catholic novelist doesn't have to be a saint; he doesn't even have to be a Catholic; he does, unfortunately, have to be a novelist.

- embarrassing number of typos, especially in titles - stray comma, indispensable dropping a letter, huge title reads "JUDGEMENT," no e in that. needs editing.
