Compare this to similar pronouncements from denominations higher on the totem pole. They all have one (or more).
But there's a big difference. As you go up the ladder, the adherents tend to be more fashionable. Episcopalians have practically pseudo-sainted MLK, for instance. But they don't actually believe the bullshit, which you see by their actions as opposed to their words.
Baptists believe it, which is why they're always a generation behind when the winds shift.
