I voted “No, I would have offered my services to the Third Reich in the cause of Aryandom.”
That said my choice is based on what I know now. It is therefore no criticism of the many British (or Americans) who fought and died for their country not knowing they had been deceived by their leaders.
Then again there is also the question on whether in the circumstances of a war being declared whether one would have the courage to openly take a position against the popular mood in the country.
The question is a difficult one and who knows what anyone would have decided if he were really in that situation.
