You are correct. When the client is obviously bat shit crazy as well as caught red handed, a good confession to the media helps greatly. It makes it a bunch easier to get that not-guilty by insanity verdict. The worst thing is that it brings attorney fees to a screeching halt. You can't bill when the client has been released to a mental health facility. Cyndi would also have to put away her begging bowl and get a job.
