Didn't the word "Rap" originate from "Rhapsody"?
Also, I must confess that I'm a big Nu Metal fan..
(It sure is a dead genre.. and yes, MTV shit I know)
It combines both rapping vocals and heavily downtuned metal guitars, into a lot less complex style than actual metal.
As well as hip-hop influenced fashion.
The lyrics tend to be whiny, angry and depressed.
But it still is better than One Direction / Justin Bieber fags anyway.
Majority of them are White like other metal genres.
It gets me pumped up like nothing else during my workouts, if not White Power music.
