The universalistic aspect of religion is the worst thing in my opinion. Anyone can join up regardless of race or intelligence, all you have to do is get baptized or take an pledge of faith. It tries to create a brotherhood or "humanity" based on some ambiguous belief. I don't think you can create a long standing and healthy nation where anyone can join as long as they believe in Jeboo or Allah.
