SIKESTON, Mo. — The third suspect in the murder of Larry Weaver, 66, of Pittsburg has been arrested.

According to a release from the Sikeston, Missouri, Department of Public Safety, Larenzle Coleman, 35 of Oakfield, Tennessee, was arrested this week after allegedly attempting to sell Weaver’s 2013 Harley Davidson Street Glide motorcycle.

He, along with two others, Ronnie Carl Robinson Sr., 49, of Sikeston, and Elsie M. Coleman, 40, of Little Rock, Arkansas, have been charged with first degree murder, first degree robbery, kidnapping and first degree tampering.

Weaver had arrived arrived in Sikeston on June 26 at approximately 8 p.m. After he arrived he contacted his wife and relayed to her he was OK and was planning on leaving Sikeston the next morning to return to his home in Pittsburg......

After their relationship ended earlier this week, a woman stopped by a man’s apartment in southeast Wichita on Wednesday afternoon to return a few of his things.

But police say something happened at Brookwood Apartments that prompted Emily Sonneman, 24, to start screaming and jump from a second-floor balcony in an effort to flee. Her ex-boyfriend, Dion Stevens, 26, chased her through the parking lot, firing numerous shots at her.

Sonneman was hit multiple times by bullets and collapsed in the parking lot, 60 to 70 yards from where she had jumped off the balcony..........

COLUMBUS, Ga. – Columbus Police tell News 3 that a man wanted for murder has now been caught. US Marshals with the Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force arrested Drevon Johnson in Jonesboro, Ga. early Friday morning, after Johnson had eluded police for nearly two months.

Johnson, 23, was wanted for the murder of 24-year-old Richard Collier, who was shot at outside a house on Hodges Drive during a party......

DETROIT, MI – He turned himself into police after he fled the scene of a three car crash that killed an 83-year-old Detroit woman known as the ‘Flower Lady’.

The crash happened on Sunday, July 3rd, 2016, on Detroit’s east side.

Charlotte Kish was known for taking care of the flower beds in the median of East Outer Drive between Mound Road and Ryan Road. She was critically hurt while watering her flowers when a car slammed into her.

The driver, Deonte Renfroe, 19-years-old, of Detroit, who allegedly caused the crash, took off running and fled the scene.

G. Dep, whose real name is Trevell Coleman, could have quite possibly gotten away with murder. After all, it was 2010 when he confessed to fatally shooting a man during a New York City robbery — an incident that unfolded back in 1993.

Coleman was 18 years old on Oct. 18, 1993, when he tried to rob John Henkel, a man he encountered near a 114th Street subway station, pulling out a pistol in an attempt to intimidate the victim into handing over cash......

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. (AP) - A Martinsburg man has pleaded guilty to strangling a 72-year-old woman to death two years ago.

News outlets report 40-year-old William P. Jackson pleaded guilty Thursday to first-degree murder in death.

Authorities say Tyler was found strangled at her home with her hands bound and a bag over her head in March 2014.....

Thursday’s cold blooded killing of Kwik Shop clerk, 51 year old, Robert Hanna of Lincoln, is the city’s 9th homicide of the year. Hanna was identified as the victim by Lincoln Police on Friday morning.

Meanwhile, police continue investigating the homicide. The search also continues for the suspect, described as a black male......

NASHVILLE, TN -A suspect in a cold case from 1996 will remain in jail on bond.

Patrick Streater is accused of stabbing and Tiffany Campbell and Melissa Chilton at a tanning business.

Prosecutors called Friday's hearing a mini trial.

Streater sat in court as his attorney questioned the lead homicide detective on the case in 1996. The defense focused on circumstances, mail evidence and a longer suspect list for why his bond should be reduced.

But prosecutors said the victims' families were threatened and he wrote letters from jail asking for information about ISIS.

A Walterboro man has been arrested on multiple charges in the shooting death of a security guard and the wounding of a second guard in late May.

Andre N. Crawford, 23, of 300 Oak Circle in Walterboro was taken into custody Wednesday morning on charges of murder, attempted murder and possession of a firearm in the commission of a violent crime.

Warrants were obtained against Crawford in the murder of of Dorchester and the wounding of Bruce Anthony Martin while they were working as security guards at Club Leon at 8150 Round O Road in Round O, on the morning of May 28.

Bakersfield Police detectives arrested Rayon Norwood, 24, and Robert Norwood, Jr., 27, both of Bakersfield, on charges of attempted murder, robbery, elder abuse, gang participation and various weapons violations.

Detectives are seeking the community's assistance in identifying and locating the female shown in the photos provided from the residence's video surveillance system. It is believed she has very distinct tattoos on the front of both thighs.

BPD says the suspects confronted Florence June McKay at the door of her home and then forced entry.

On Wednesday, Nigel Green said he believed his missing girlfriend was still alive and made a public plea for her to call her mom soon.

On Thursday, he admitted to Corpus Christi police that he killed her and lead them to where he left Carina Castellanos' body in a ditch near a Mathis cornfield. Green, 30, was arrested on suspicion of her murder.

Castellanos, 26 was found dead a week after her mother reported her missing June 30. Green on Thursday led police to her body in a Mathis ditch before he was arrested, according to a police news release.

CHARLESTON, WV — Investigators with the Charleston Police Department say the suspect in a recent shooting in the Orchard Manor area has been captured in North Carolina. He was found at an apartment in Charlotte.

The shooting happened about 12 a.m. on Hutchinson Street on Charleston's West Side.

David Stewart, 23, was shot and killed while behind the wheel of a vehicle.

Charleston Police suspect that Deandre Moore, a.k.a Dravo, who is 19, allegedly shot and killed Stewart.

SUMRALL, MS - Bond has been set for the Sumrall man charged with murder in connection with a homicide investigation.

Donald King, Jr., 35, is charged in the shooting death of Kimberly Lucus-Raynes, who was found dead outside a home in Sumrall.

King was arrested Wednesday and charged with first-degree murder and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Kimberly Lucus-Raynes, 44, was found deceased outside a home at 11 Mulberry Street in Sumrall.

CUMBERLAND COUNTY, N.C. - Cumberland County deputies have released the names of a man and woman found shot to death Wednesday in an apparent murder-suicide. The woman's infant son was also shot.

Deputies said they arrived to a home in the 3400 block of Cumberland Road within 5 minutes of getting a 911 call from the woman's frightened 8-year old child saying his mother had been shot.

When first-responders arrived, they found the baby boy -- just 2 or 3-months-old according to neighbors -- shot in the chest and critically injured.

It happened in the 3400 block of Cumberland Road. Besides the infant, deputies quickly discovered 32-year-old Jessica Ann Parker - who had been shot to death. They then found her boyfriend 35-year-old Sherrell McNeill dead from what appeared to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound......

NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – Police are trying to identify two men who are “persons of interest” in the deadly shooting of a North Carolina woman at a North Myrtle Beach cafeteria on Saturday, officials say.

GLENS FALLS, NY - A second Ilion man is charged with the murder of a Glens Falls man.

Police picked up Robert Henry, 45, in Utica and arraigned him early Sunday morning.

He's been charged with second degree murder and first degree robbery.

He's been remanded to Warren County jail without bail. Investigators say they'd been looking for Henry in the murder of Kevin Jenks, 57, from Glens Falls.

On Saturday police arrested Kevin Chapman, 49, also of Ilion. He's also charged with second degree murder and first degree burglary.....

PORTSMOUTH, RI—Christopher James will spend the rest of his life in prison after being sentenced today after being found guilty of first degree murder by a jury in March.

James, 49, formerly of Providence, fatally stabbed 46-year-old Terry Chiodo after she boarded a Rhode Island Transportation Authority Bus in 2013.

James, Chiodo's estranged ex-husband, got on the bus ahead of Chiodo's regular stop knowing she would be on the bus......

CLAY COUNTY, Fla.—One man is dead and another injured after a shooting off County Road 16A in Clay County early Sunday morning, authorities said.

Two men were shot inside a home at 1956 CR 16A during a reported robbery and they, along with a third man, drove themselves to a Kangaroo gas station on CR 16 looking for help, said Sergeant Domenic Paniccia with the Clay County Sheriff's Office Homicide Unit.

Eighteen-year-old Kolton Shearer was pronounced dead at the scene, Paniccia said. A second man was taken to Orange Park Medical Center with injuries that weren't life-threatening. A third man was uninjured.

The suspect in the shooting was identified as Ozell McNabb Jr., 22, and multiple agencies are searching the area south of Green Cove Springs ....

BRISTOL, Tenn. — Friends and family of a black Army veteran accused of shooting at passing cars and police on a Tennessee highway are struggling to accept that he became violent in response to police killings of African-Americans.

One woman died and three others were wounded, including an officer, as police traded gunfire early Thursday with the suspect, identified as Lakeem Keon Scott, 37.

Newspaper carrier Jennifer Rooney, a 44-year-old mother of two, was struck by a bullet as she drove to pick up papers for the morning delivery. The Bristol Herald-Courier reported that her car careened over a median and crashed through a chain link fence.

“I don’t think she had an enemy in her life,” her husband, David Rooney, told the newspaper. “She was the type of person that could have a disagreement with someone and 10 minutes later turn around and help them, and that rubbed off on everybody who she came in contact with.”....
