Default Opinions on Techno music ?

How do you view it ?

I know I have expressed myself critically in my "critical look at music and the NWO" thread about this specific music , yet , apart from the role hallucinogenic drugs may play in this music often , where do you stand on the music itself ?

You may know that there have already been attempts at creating NS Techno ( DJ Adolf etc . .)

But . . like I said . . the music ?

On a side note . .even if our scene should work with techno I'm sure we wouldn't indulge in degenerate "parades" like "Loveparade" etc . .

So . . How do you view Techno as such ?

And . . concerning our movement ?

Gigi D'Agostino , one of the most prominent Techno discjockeys in the world . .

( his videos are quite simplistic though . .)

On a personal note , I always did prefer the "original" version of this song by Nik Kershaw though.

I enjoy listening to songs of this genre that were popular during my youth

I love Swedish dance/trance music from the late 1990s.

P.S. The song that Alex Him posted (Don't You Want Me by Felix) is also great. I used to listen to it when I was a teenager.

Swamp Thing by The Grid is terrible as techno and banjo is a truly horrible combination. (Techno and accordion, on the other hand, works just fine.) Mark Oh's Tears Don't Lie is pretty good (I haven't heard that one in a really long time, thanks Alex), and Children by Robert Miles is of course wonderful.

Anyway, here's the excellent Dr Feelgood by Interphace (also spelled Interphase):

All videos posted come up with a "500 Internal Server Error" message.

Is this what you mean by techno?

I think the woman singer is German, but I could be wrong.

I don't think techno and banjo are fundamentally incompatible. I think it's a failure of the band The Grid. They play interesting music on the banjo but the part related to techno is not interesting at all.

I honestly don't see how techno and banjo could work together, but I would like to hear what your colleagues Alex Her, Alex It and Alex Them have to say about this matter before making up my mind.

But like I wrote in my previous post, techno and accordion is a great combination, which we can clearly see - or rather, hear - in the following excellent song (even though it's Ukrainian):

Okay, this is probably not techno music, but the lines between techno and dance and trance music are kind of blurry, so I think I can be forgiven for posting it.

I do not see other examples of the use of banjo in techno.

To draw conclusions on the basis of a single case is incorrect in my opinion.

Verka Serduchka - Dancing Lasha Tumbai (Ukraine) 2007 Eurovision Song Contest
Regarding Verka Serduchka... I never liked men singing in the image of women.

Okay, I respect your opinion.

I don't like transvestism either, but I still think that that song is very good.

Anyway, here's a classic:

It's strange that nobody has mentioned Scooter in this techno thread. Here's How Much Is the Fish?:
