Default Origins of the Finnish language ?

- - -

. . Finnish is one of the languages of the world whose origin has never really been solved . .

Usually language-trees can be modelled for existing languages with certain ones being related to others . .

You know . . among peoples of our race . . Slavic , Germanic , for example . .

Yet the Finnish language's origin has never really be figured out.

I guess that's also because Finnish is considered so difficult to learn by non-native speakers.

- - -

On a side note . . hungarian also is a language whose origins are not really solved.

In fact , concerning those two languages ,no similar sounding language can even be detected.

- - -

I concentrate on Finland here though because I plan a trip to Finland next year . . thought of putting that up on here.

- - - - -

Concerning the hungarian language though . . it is assumed though that today's hungarian is directly derived from the language of the ancient huns . . after all : hungarian ; Huns . . Also the huns referred to themselves as 'magyars' and in the local language Hungary is called 'Magyarország' . . .

So . . at least somewhat of a clue concerning that language.

- - -

. . what about Finnish . . ?

Uhm, yes, it has:

Good Finnish music - Ievan Polkka:

Ievan Polkka

Loituma

Nuapurista kuulu se polokan tahti
Jalakani pohjii kutkutti
Ievan äiti se tyttöösä vahti
Vaan kyllähän Ieva sen jutkutti,
Sillä ei meitä silloin kiellot haittaa
Kun myö tanssimme laiasta laitaan
Salivili hipput tupput täppyt
Äppyt tipput hilijalleen

Ievan suu oli vehnäsellä
Ko immeiset onnee toevotti
Peä oli märkänä jokaisella
Ja viulu se vinku ja voevotti
Ei tätä poikoo märkyys haittaa
Sillon ko laskoo laiasta laitaan
Salivili hipput tupput täppyt
Äppyt tipput hilijalleen

Ievan äiti se kammarissa
Virsiä veisata huijjuutti,
Kun tämä poika naapurissa
Ämmän tyttöä nuijjuutti
Eikä tätä poikoo ämmät haittaa
Sillon ko laskoo laiasta laitaan
Salivili hipput tupput täppyt
Äppyt tipput hilijalleen

Hilipati hilipati hilipati hillaa,
Hilipati hilipati hilipampaa
Jalituli jallaa talituli jallaa
Tilitali tilitali tilitantaa
Halituli jallaa tilituli tallaa
Tilitili tilitili tilitili tallaa
Halituli tilitali jallati jallan,
Tilitali talitali helevantaa

Rimpatirallaa ripirapirallaa
Rumpatiruppa ripirampuu
Jakkarittaa rippari lapalan
Tulituli lallan tipiran tuu
Jatsu tsappari dikkari dallan
Tittari tillan titstan dullaa,
Dipidapi dallaa ruppati rupiran
Kurikan kukka ja kirikan kuu

Ratsatsaa ja ripidabi dilla
Beritstan dillan dellan doo
A baribbattaa baribbariiba
Ribiribi distan dellan doo
Ja barillas dillan deia dooa
Daba daba daba daba daba duvja vuu
Baristal dillas dillan duu ba daga
Daiga daida duu duu deiga dou

Siellä oli lystiä soiton jäläkeen
Sain minä kerran sytkyyttee
Kottiin ko mäntii ni ämmä se riitelj
Ja Ieva jo alako nyyhkyytteek
Minä sanon Ievalle mitäpä se haittaa
Laskemma vielähi laiasta laitaa
Salivili hipput tupput täppyt
Äppyt tipput hilijalleen

Muorille sanon jotta tukkee suusi
En ruppee sun terveyttäs takkoomaa
Terveenä peäset ku korjoot luusi
Ja määt siitä murjuus makkoomaa
Ei tätä poikoo hellyys haittaa
Ko akkoja huhkii laiasta laitaan
Salivili hipput tupput täppyt
Äppyt tipput hilijalleen

Sen minä sanon jotta purra pittää
Ei mua niin voan nielasta
Suat männä ite vaikka lännestä ittään
Vaan minä en luovu Ievasta,
Sillä ei tätä poikoo kainous haittaa
Sillon ko tanssii laiasta laitaan
Salivili hipput tupput täppyt
Äppyt tipput hilijalleen

And here's the excellent Finnish Winter War song ''Njet, Molotoff'' about how the Finns fought bravely against the satanic, genocidal, jew-controlled Soviet Union:

English translation:

Finlandia, Finlandia,
that’s where the Ivans were heading again.
When Molotov promised: "Yes, everything will go fine,
tomorrow we'll already be eating ice-cream in Helsinki.”

No Molotov, no Molotov
you told more lies than Bobrikov himself.

Finlandia, Finlandia,
The Mannerheim line was a harsh obstacle.
When artillery began firing from Karelia,
many Ivans stopped their babbling

No Molotov, no Molotov
you told more lies than Bobrikov himself.

Finlandia, Finlandia,
the invincible Red Army is afraid of it.
And Molotov said: "Well look at that,
the Chukhnas¹ are coming at our throats!"

No Molotov, no Molotov
you told more lies than Bobrikov himself.

Behind the Urals, behind the Urals,
is the cottage of Molotov.
People like Stalin and other cheaters are let to visit it,
including politruks, commissars and crooks from Petrozavodsk.

No Molotov, no Molotov
you told more lies than Bobrikov himself.

¹ Chukhna is an ethnic slur for Finns.

Here is a classic by a Finnish composer:

I hope it is enjoyed.
