Robert Mitchum: ANTI-KIKE
The New York Film Festival has just announced a retrospective of the late actor Robert Mitchum.
Mitchum was a great actor, for certain. But my memory of him is clouded by a 1983 interview he gave to Esquire. In it, he denied the Holocaust happened. And that was among a slew of other invective racism and misogyny. When asked about the six million who died in the Holocaust, Mitchem replied: “So the Jews say,” He added. “I don’t know. People dispute that.” He added: “How do you say trust me in Jewish? F— you.” http://www.showbiz411.com/2017/07/24...mous-interview

Yeah, one of my all-time favorites: those heavy-lidded don't-give-a-shit eyes....lol. Few portrayals are as genuinely sinister as his Max Cady in the original Cape Fear: Polly Bergen, who played the wife of Cady's prosecutor, that wooden leftist Gregory Peck, said that when they filmed that sexually-charged houseboat scene (where he cracked the egg & rubbed it all over her shoulder & chest) he scared her to death....

Interestingly, as he played 'scary' so well, that in real life he was very even-tempered--Charles Laughton hated kids, and refused to direct them in 'Night of the Hunter', so Mitchum directed the little boy and girl. That little boy who played John was absolutely brilliant. The girl was real precious-I always wondered if she really had that speech impediment or if it was an excellent put-on. Both kids captured the essence of their characters real well. Too bad Mitchum didn't also direct, I think he'd have done some brilliant stuff.

Interesting that Laughton didn't like kids; he was a very great actor. That old bisexual Hymiewood pimp who wrote the tell-all about the sex lives of the movie stars of yesteryear (Scotty something or other) told a particularly revolting one on fag Laughton: said he saw him gobble down a sandwich made of a "rent boy's" shit......
Ever since reading that I can't bear to see those thick lips.....

The Mitchum version is of course not as explicit, being made in the early '60s; the menace comes from his face.

Robert Mitchum: ANTI-KIKE
When Mitchum starred with Loretta Young in Rachel and the Stranger, Young, a practicing Catholic, ran a prim set. She didn't allow swearing, and if anyone swore, they had to drop twenty-five cents into s jar.
Mitchum had just been cleared of his marijuana charge, and was still a party animal. After a night at the bars, one day he came on set, still hung over, and, without saying a word and knowing how he'd be, dropped a five into the jar. |

Before people get too excited about Robert Mitchum, allow me to point out that he quickly "apologized" for his anti-Jewish comments.
See: http://www.jta.org/1983/03/17/archiv...is-interview-I Mitchum says he was quoted out of context, and that he was speaking "in character" from a film he was promoting, and that the remarks did not reflect his own opinion concerning the Jews. He also claimed to be one-quarter Blackfoot Indian - but who can believe anything he said?
