Default Opinions on China ?

Little breakdown . .

. . China came into being when an asiatic sovereign united many Asian tribes . .

Previously the tribes of inner-Asia would live like nomads . .

. . so they were drawn together in a big realm . .

. . which would become China . .

For a long time the chinese even viewed themselves as the non plus ultra of civilisation ..

That's also why they built the great wall . .

They already had million-cities quite early . .

Ancient China pretty much was a state of officials.

They viewed themselves as the 'realm of the middle' . .

What is true . . they developed quite a culture , did many inventions et al . .

Mao Tse Tung communised China and thus won a huge part of Asia for communism back then.

. . in newer times . .

China seems to open itself again for capitalism . .

They are a very ambitious people . .
. . what are your views on China ?

Heehee

Yup , old China , like I said , was a state of officials under an emperor . .

An emperor in general is the sovereign over a variety of territories , as opposed to a king , who merely rules over one region . .

. . the Chinese tribes weren't one single tribe . . Today 'Mandarin' is the chinese standard ( script-) language . . the chinese emperor was referred to as the 'Mandarin' . .

I admit , they developed quite a culture . .

Though , under the Commies this 'state of officials' was torn town , alledgedly "in favour of the people" . .

They also destroyed a huge part of Chinese culture in the alledged 'cultural revolution'.

I suppose without the Commies more of ancient chinese culture would be preserved . .

The fact that much is known about ancient China mostly stems from the lores of Marco Polo , an Italian navigator , who saw old China for himself and gave report in Europe . . .
