"DOSAAF (Russian: ДОСААФ), full name Volunteer Society for Cooperation with the Army, Aviation, and Navy, was a paramilitary sport organisation in the Soviet Union, concerned mainly with weapons, automobiles and aviation. The society was established in 1927 as OSOAVIAKhIM and from 1951 to 1991 carried the name of DOSAAF.

The stated goal of the society was "patriotic upbringing of the population and preparation of it to the defense of the Motherland". Among the means to achieve this was the development of paramilitary sports."

You know I'm a rocket and airplane guy--those An-2 aircraft have been real workhorses for many years. Despite being a biplane and older in appearance, it actually first flew in 1947 (same year as the MiG-15 jet fighter!) and is still in use today.

I will not argue with you.
I don't know anything anyway

A musical and poetic movie about sportsmen of the Central Parachute Sport Club of the airborne troops. The movie shows the most complex acrobatic figures and stunts in the air, which are performed by the masters of the highest parachuting.

In the movie, only the first two verses of the song are sung.

There, beyond the clouds

The young rain is heaving in the sky,
The winds are flying on the sleepless valleys.
Wished I knew what's waiting for me beyond the distant line,
There, beyond the horizon, there, beyond the horizon...
There-there-ta-dam there-ta-dam

I was walking towards the high sky not in vain,
I was sleeping, covering myself with large snows.
But instead I learned, what is dawn
There, beyond the clouds, there, beyond the clouds...
There-there-ta-dam there-ta-dam

Believing that enduring all the failures,
Giving my life to my friends and to the roads,
I'll recognize love, I'll meet you for a while
There, beyond the turning, there, beyond the turning...
There-there-ta-dam there-ta-dam

If some disaster happens to me,
Don't measure the sad land with your steps,
See, that you will always find my heart
There, beyond the clouds, there, beyond the clouds...
There-there-ta-dam there-ta-dam

"The State Committee on the State of Emergency (Russian: Госуда́рственный комите́т по чрезвыча́йному положе́нию), abbreviated as SCSE (Russian: ГКЧП, tr. GKChP), was a group of eight high-level Soviet officials within the Soviet government, the Communist Party, and the KGB, who attempted a coup d'état against Mikhail Gorbachev on 19 August 1991. The coup ultimately failed, with the provisional government collapsing by 22 August 1991 and several of the conspirators being prosecuted by the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation.

The eight members were:

Gennady Yanayev (1937–2010), Vice President

Valentin Pavlov (1937–2003), Premier

Boris Pugo (1937–1991), Interior Minister

Dmitry Yazov (b. 1924), Defense Minister and Marshal of the Soviet Union

Vladimir Kryuchkov (1924–2007), Chairman of the KGB

Oleg Baklanov (b. 1932), First Deputy Chairman of the Defense Council of the USSR

Vasily Starodubtsev (1931–2011), Chairman of the Peasants' Union of the USSR

Alexander Tizyakov (b. 1926), President of the Association of State Enterprises

Pugo committed suicide via gunshot to avoid arrest, while the other seven members were arrested.

The 1991 Soviet coup d'état attempt, occurring between 19–21 August 1991, was an attempt by the Gang of Eight to take control of the country from then President of the Soviet Union, Mikhail Gorbachev. The Gang of Eight were hard-line members of the Communist Party (CPSU) who were opposed to Gorbachev's reform program and the new union treaty he had negotiated, which dispersed much of the central government's power to the republics. The coup collapsed after only two days, and although Gorbachev was restored as President, his authority was irreparably damaged and he became less influential outside of Moscow. The event destabilized the Soviet Union and many speculate that it played a role in both the demise of the CPSU and the dissolution of the Soviet Union. After the coup failed, the seven living members of the Gang of Eight were arrested."

Following is the text of a statement to the Soviet people by the State Committee for the State of Emergency:

"Compatriots, citizens of the Soviet Union, we are addressing you at the grave, critical hour for the destinies of Motherland and our peoples. A mortal danger has come to loom large over our great Motherland.

The policy of reforms, launched at Mikhail S. Gorbachev's initiative and designed as a means to insure the country's dynamic development and the democratization of social life has entered for several reasons a blind alley.

Lack of faith, apathy and despair have replaced the original enthusiasm and hopes.

Authorities at all levels have lost the population's trust. Politicking has replaced in public life concern for the fate of Motherland and the citizen.

Malicious outrage against all state institutes is being imposed. The country has in fact become ungovernable.

Having taken advantage of the granted liberties and encroaching upon the first sprouts of democracy, there have emerged extremist forces that have embarked on the course toward liquidating the Soviet Union, ruining the state and seizing power at any cost.

The results of the nationwide referendum on Motherland's unity have been trampled upon.

Cynical speculations on national feelings are merely a smokescreen to satisfy ambitions.

Neither today's misfortunes of their peoples, nor their tomorrow, worry political adventurists. In creating an atmosphere of moral and political terror and seeking to hide behind the shield of popular trust, they forget that the relations they condemn and disrupt were established on the basis of far broader popular support, which, besides, has passed the centuries-long test of history.

Today, those who are in fact working toward the overthrow of the constitutional system should be brought to account before mothers and fathers for the death of the hundreds of victims of inter-ethnic conflicts.

The fate of more than half a million refugees is on their conscience. They are to blame for the loss of tranquillity and the joy of living of tens of millions of Soviet people who only yesterday lived in a united family but today found themselves living as outcasts in their own home.

People should decide what social system should exist, but attempts are being made to deprive them of this right.

Instead of showing concern for the security and well-being of every citizen and all society, persons that have come to positions of power not infrequently use it for interests alien to the people, as a means for unscrupulous self-assertion.

Torrents of words and piles of declarations and promises only underline the scanty and meager nature of their practical deeds. The inflation of authority is destroying our state and society in a more frightening way than any other.

Every citizen is feeling increasing uncertainty about tomorrow and deep concern about the future of his or her children.

The power crisis has had catastrophic effects on the economy. The chaotic, spontaneous slide toward a market provoked an explosion of egoism -- regional, departmental, group and personal.

The war of laws and encouragement of centrifugal tendencies spelled destruction of the integral national economic mechanism that has been shaping for decades. The result includes sharp drops in the living standards of the vast majority of the Soviet people, and the blossoming of profiteering and the shadow economy.

It is high time people were told the truth: If urgent and decisive measures are not adopted to stabilize the economy, hunger and another spiral of impoverishment are imminent in the near future, from which it is just a step from mass manifestations of spontaneous discontent with devastating consequences.

Only irresponsible people can bank on some aid from abroad. No handouts can solve our problems; our rescue is in our own hands.

The time has come to measure the authority of every person and organization by their real contributions to the rehabilitation and development of the national economy.

For long years, we have heard incantations from all sides about the commitment to the interests of an individual and concern for individual rights and social security. In fact, man has found himself humiliated and desperate, his real rights and possibilities infringed upon.

All democratic institutions created by the popular will are losing weight and effectiveness right in front of our eyes. This is a result of purposeful actions by those who, grossly violating the fundamental law of the U.S.S.R., are effectively in the process of staging an anti-constitutional coup and striving for unbridled personal dictatorial powers. Prefectures, mayoralties and other illegal structures are increasingly replacing, de facto, popularly elected governing councils.

An offensive is under way on the rights of working people. The rights to work, education, health, housing and leisure are in jeopardy.

Even the elementary personal security of people is increasingly under threat. Crime is fast on the increase, getting organized and politicized. The country is sinking into the quagmire of violence and lawlessness.

Never before in national history has the propaganda of sex and violence assumed such a scale, threatening the health and lives of future generations. Millions of people are demanding measures against the octopus of crime and glaring immorality.

The increasing destabilization of the political and economic situation in the Soviet Union is undercutting our positions in the world. Revanchist notes are to be heard in some places and demands are being made for a review of our borders. Voices can even be heard speaking of dismembering the Soviet Union and of the possibility of establishing international guardianship over individual facilities and regions of the country.

Such is the bitter reality. Whereas only yesterday a Soviet person finding himself abroad felt himself a worthy citizen of an influential and respected state, now he is often a second-rate foreigner, the attitude to whom is marked by either contempt or sympathy.

The pride and honor of the Soviet people must be restored in full.

The State Committee for the State of Emergency in the U.S.S.R. is fully aware of the depth of the crisis that has afflicted the country, it takes upon itself the responsibility for the fate of the country and is fully determined to take most serious measures to take the state and society out of the crisis as soon as possible.

We promise to hold a nationwide discussion of the draft new union treaty. Each individual will have the right and opportunity to think over this major act and define his attitude toward it because the fate of numerous peoples of our great Motherland will depend on what the Soviet Union will be like.

We intend to restore law and order straight away, end bloodshed, declare a war without mercy to the criminal world, eradicate shameful phenomena discrediting our society and degrading Soviet citizens. We shall clean the streets of our cities from criminal elements and put an end to arbitrariness of the squanderers of the national wealth.

We favor genuine democratic processes, a consistent reform policy leading to the renewal of our Motherland, its economic and social prosperity, which will enable it to take a worthy place in the world community of nations.

The country's development must not be built upon the declining standards of living of the people. A consistent rise in the living standards of all citizens will become the norm in a healthy society, without reducing care for strengthening and protecting the interests of the widest layers of the population, those who are the hardest hit by inflation, production disorganization, corruption and crime.

Developing the many-tier character of the national economy, we shall support private enterprise, granting it necessary opportunities for the development of production and services.

Our prime concern is the solution of the food and housing problems. All available forces will be mobilized to meet these, the most essential needs of the people.

We are calling upon workers, peasants, working intelligentsia, all Soviet people to restore, within the briefest period of time, labor discipline and order, raise the level of production in order to resolutely march ahead. Our life and the future of our children and grandchildren, the fate of the Motherland depend on this.

We are a peace-loving country and shall undeviatingly honor all our commitments. We have no claims to make against anybody. We want to live in peace and friendship with all. But we firmly declare that no one will be ever allowed to encroach upon our sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity. All attempts to talk the language of Diktat to our country, no matter where they may come from, will be resolutely suppressed.

Our multinational people have lived for centuries, proud of their Motherland. We have never been ashamed of our patriotic feelings and we hold it natural and rightful to raise the present and future generations of citizens of this great power in this spirit.

To remain inactive at this hour of crisis for the fate of the Motherland means to take upon oneself the heavy responsibility for the tragic, truly unpredictable consequences. Each individual who holds our Motherland dear, who wants to live and work in peace and confidence, who does not acquiesce to the continuation of the bloody inter-ethnic conflicts, who sees his Motherland independent and prospering in the future must make the only right choice. We call on all true patriots, people of good will, to put an end to the present time of uncertainty.

We call on all citizens of the Soviet Union to grow aware of their duty before the country and render all possible assistance to the State Committee for the State of Emergency in the U.S.S.R. and efforts to pull the country out of the crisis.

Constructive proposals from socio-political organizations, work collectives and individuals will be appreciated as the show of their patriotic readiness to actively participate in the restoration of the century-old friendship in the single family of fraternal peoples and the revival of the Motherland. The State Committee for the State of Emergency in the U.S.S.R."

On the trial of a group of criminals engaged in embezzlement of public funds in the Italian city of Reggio di Calabria.

0:01 - Mafia crimes from blackmail and extortion to massacres those who dared to go against it will are well known in Italy. But as a rule, it is impossible to catch the criminals in the act and bring specific charges against them.

0:19 - The trial in the city of Reggio di Calabria can be considered in this sense a rare exception. A large group of mafia executives engaged in embezzlement of public funds, receiving 15 percent of all allocations that the state treasury allocated to industrial facilities, the port and the railway in Calabria.

0:42 - The court revealed this with documentary accuracy, despite the omissions, “forgetfulness” and allegedly even the ignorance of witnesses, which were not only representatives of local authorities, but also high-ranking government officials.

0:59 - Not everyone managed to overcome the fear of the mafia. But whether only fear made them silent?

1:05 - ...

Excuse me, but I can't translate from Italian

On the daily life of Soviet schoolchildren in the early 1970s.

11:25 - The girls in the lesson of labor prepared some kind of dish and they treated the boys to this dish.

In the movie, only the first two verses of the song are sung.

Such thing never repeats

The clouds are looking into the school windows,
The lesson seems to be endless.
It's heard how the plumelet is creaking slightly
And the lines are put on the notebook.

CHORUS:
The first love, sonorous years,
In the blue ponds glassy pieces of ice.
Never repeats, never repeats,
Such thing never repeats.
Never repeats, never repeats,
Such thing never repeats…

A song of rain is rolling like a stream,
The green winds are rustling.
The envy without reason, the arguments about nothing -
All this was as though yesterday.

The first love, the snow on the wires,
The star just flashed in the sky.
Never repeats, never repeats,
Such thing never repeats.
Never repeats, never repeats,
Such thing never repeats…

In the early 1970s when I was in grade school, many kids were becoming little thugs. Also American schools had been desegregated starting in the 1960s and many niggers and other non-Whites were allowed in, making for a totally disruptive (non) learning environment.

I learned cursive writing in school back them too, but that is no longer being taught. They can barely write their own names today.

The same can hardly be said about Soviet schoolchildren of this period. In the USSR, much attention was paid to raising children.

It seems to me that I already wrote that the level of education in Russia, too, very significantly decreased. But I think most people are still able to write their own names.

Report from Belfast (Northern Ireland), where English soldiers are rampant. On discrimination against Catholics by the Protestant majority and on the struggle for civil rights.

0:01 - Belfast became the leading edge in the struggle between extremist groups of Catholics and Protestants, between the Irish population and the British army. Nowhere is the presence of heavily armed English soldiers so evident. They behave here as masters.

0:20 - That's how the police search everyone who wants to go to the center of Belfast. From all sides the central quarters of the city are surrounded by such a high metal grid. However, and in all of Belfast, the life of citizens passes like behind bars. Police raids, searches, arrests, military patrols and alarms have become commonplace here.

0:44 - People afraid to go out when it gets dark. On the walls of institutions hang posters that warn you that going to work and returning from it is better by different routes. Or, for example, these posters warn you that you must carefully inspect the street before leaving the house.

1:01 - The capital of Ulster is called the front-line city. It is called so not only because here bombs explode and shots sound, not only because here the whole quarters are burned and destroyed.

1:12 - The British authorities seek to give the impression that they are most concerned with maintaining peace and order, but the army's actions only exacerbate the escalation of the conflict because they are directed mainly against the Catholic minority. With the help of the army and repressive laws, the authorities want to suppress any struggle, including political struggle.

1:33 - The democratic forces of Ulster demand the return of British soldiers to the barracks, to stop discrimination against Catholics and to grant civil rights to the entire population of the province. It's necessary for peace to come to Ulster land.

0:24 - Ludwig Minkus (1826-1917) - Divertimento from the ballet "Paquita."

[As I understand it, although the author of the music for the ballet "Paquita" is Edouard Deldevez (1817-1897), but in setting up the ballet in Russia Petipa used fragments of music written by Minkus for the ballet.]

0:30 - The choreographer is Marius Petipa (1818-1910).

Often in Oriental legends and songs of a horse is compared with a diamond for exquisite beauty, elegance of lines. A cost of a thoroughbred horse often coincides with a cost of a diamond. The movie tells about the cultivation of Arab horse breed at the Terek stud farm in the Stavropol region.

0:16 - They really wanted to ride. They wanted to test themselves and look at the world when they rising at the saddle.

0:31 - To do this, newcomers need a kind and intelligent horse who will forgive the awkwardness and will find the right way itself.

0:44 - "Hot" horses of the Akhal-Teke breed and sports horses of the Traken breed are not well suited for such a thing. But there is a breed of horses that not only combines the advantages of the best breeds of horses, but also introduces the nobility of stature, good temper and endurance into them. This is an Arabian horse breed.

1:17 - A Karachai breed horse will calm its wild temper and become more beautiful and desirable for people if even a drop of blood of an Arab horse breed will flows in its veins. And people will say about such horse that it is the priceless horse.

1:45 - This is an international auction of Arab breed horses.

1:50 - An auction manager: Ladies and gentlemen! Let me welcome you here on the land of the Terek in the Terek stud farm. We are opening the event with the representative of the line Nosima with a gentle graceful young stallion. This is the stallion Nimros, the son of the Moment and the beauty of Nizina.

2:17 - An auction manager: Here you can see the pride of the Terek stud farm, a beautiful stallion (on whose name smells like ours the Stavropol bread) Mukomol / a miller. Mukomol stallion is a reference Arab horse.

2:37 - The breed of Arabian horses is one of the most famous and ancient horse breeds on earth.
Shakespeare has devoted it poetic lines:
"Round-hoof'd, short-jointed, fetlocks shag and long,
Broad breast, full eye, small head and nostril wide,
High crest, short ears, straight legs and passing strong,
Thin mane, thick tail, broad buttock, tender hide:
Look, what a horse should have he did not lack,
Save a proud rider on so proud a back." [Venus and Adonis]

3:20 - But all horses were nearly lost because their task was entrusted to cars. It is good that there are people who love horses and are concerned about their fate. And now horses still exist beside us.

3:55 - A legend tells that long ago mountains were walking freely in the Stavropol steppe and suddenly they met a herd of horses of unprecedented beauty. The mountains surrounded the herd of horses and froze enchanted by it and thus petrified. It was a herd of Arab horses. These horses can now be found in these places called Pyatigorsk / Five-mountains.

4:46 - Almost a hundred years ago, Count Stroganov, a great connoisseur of horses, brought from Arabia several elite stallions and mares. He founded a stud horse farm of thoroughbred Arab horses at the foot of the mountain Zmeika.

5:11 - For many years, the Stroganov plant supplied excellent horses to the Cossack herds to improve the horses of the Kuban and Terek troop Cossacks. After that, the blood of the Arabian horse breed turned into an irresistible Cossack avalanche in battle and glory of Russian cavalry.

5:42 - In the expanse of the Prikum steppes, the Arab horse has found its second homeland.

6:04 - With mother's milk, with free hot winds carrying exciting smells of steppe grasses, with life-giving water of the Caucasian water sources, foals find unique to become, force and temperament and good character of the Arab horses.

6:38 - These foals have a nobility derived from their long-standing ancestors. Only born and it is already a grandee in its horse world.

6:55 - Some would envy such heraldry.

7:08 - During the civil war, the genetic branch of the Arabian horse breed in Russia almost disappeared. Then there were only 6 purebred horses. Fights were still going on when in 1921 the decree on the establishment of the Terek stud farm was signed.

7:28 - It began with a snow-white stallion named Tsilindr / Cylinder, which the soldiers of the legendary cavalry army Semyon Budyonny captured from Baron Pyotr Wrangel. On this horse, Baron dreamed of entering Moscow with the sound of bells, but this did not happen. And riding the stallion Tsilindr, the commander-in-chief of our troops opened parades on Red Square. Then the stallion was transferred to the Terek stud farm and it became the ancestor of one of the best domestic horse breeds.

8:15 - How a diamond gets its brilliance after cutting in the same way and a magnificent horse is created by horse breeders.

8:29 - It's not easy to create a magnificent horse. No one said it better or more accurately than the Bedouins. They compared the Arabian horse with a drop of rose oil squeezed from the petals of thousands of roses. Maybe for this reason there are so many flowers at the Terek stud farm.

8:58 - And the monument to the outstanding Arabian stallion Asuan / Aswan [ a city on the Nile River] is among the roses. The stallion Asuan was a whole era in the world horse breeding of the Arabian horse breed. It was buried in a standing position in a horse harness and with honors. This was done in the same way as Bucephalus the battle horse of Alexander of Macedon was buried. For 20 years, the stallion Asuan stayed at the Terek stud farm, leaving behind it 365 descendant. They to continue its glorious genus.

9:34 - Countless of number of brilliant pupils-horses of the Terek stud farm. Photos of some of them accurately convey the beautiful image of the Arabian horse breed. Such horses brought fame to domestic horse breeding.

10:21 - But even world-wide stars were only foals. They walked along the steppe, gained strength and learned to live in the herd.

10:39 - It is a wise skill to live in a herd ruled by kindness and friendliness.

10:54 - Childhood is too short, but the feeling of this happy pore and freedom will remain for life.

11:20 - When the foal reaches the age of 1.5 years, horse school begins for it. Here they will be accustomed to rein and the saddle. They will be taught to walk and run in the right way. They will be taught to turn on time and in the right direction. And they will be taught much different things in accordance with the full course of riding.

12:01 - And then the horse will feel that she is forever connected with the human, will believe in his good feelings for it and his strong hands. Thus, adult life begins for a horse.

12:32 - Horseshoe for luck.

12:46 - Kliment Voroshilov [Marshal of the Soviet Union] told that the cavalry believed that victory in the attack would be mandatory if there was at least one Arabian horse in the squadron. By its fearlessness it carried away other horses with it, proudly flying under the bullets in front of everyone.

13:06 - Announcer at the races: The winner of the big summer prize among the horses of the Arabian breed at a distance of 1600 meters is the stallion Golf who performed at number 5. Stallion Golf belongs to the Terek stud farm. It is coached by the second category coach Zagorodnev. Galloped jockey second category Bolsanov.

13:30 - People were always near a horse. They were familiar with it when it was still a year old foal, an obstinate silly little one. They fed it, raised it, equipped it for races and saved it in difficult years. As it was, for example, in 1941.

13:55 - The war found the best horses of the Terek stud farm in Lviv. When the Germans already bombed the city from the gate at the Hippodrome escaped the herd that led stallion Korei. People drove horses to the east for hundreds of kilometers. The horses burst hoofs and broke legs. Many of them had to be shot. However, they have reached. They are back.

14:34 - In Lenin's 1918 decree on livestock breeding, the best animals were called the property of the republic. And this estimate has not changed in the present time. Since 1944, the Terek stud farm has become the leading Arabian horse breeding enterprise. Once again in the feathery-grass steppes of Stavropol as a hundred years ago, herds of Arabian horses walk freely.

15:23 - And now as in the past, along with a horse is always a human.

16:10 - How lucky these boys are! This love will stay with them for the rest of their lives.

16:38 - At the auction of horses of the Arabian breed in the Terek stud farm you can meet anyone. There are horse breeders and commersants from around the world, including domestic horse breeders and specialists who came to fetch horses for rural and urban equestrian schools, tourism, competitions and circus performances.

17:02 - An auction manager: This is Almaz / a Diamond son of Naphthalene and Molva. So far in the world there are very few stallions from the line of Cohelan. You know about it. And before you the most beautiful horse. The stallion Almaz starting price of 500,000 [rubles? dollars?]. Do you agree with the fact that this is one of the best horses we have seen today?

17:23 - The auction continues. However, what does money mean in comparison with the nobility and beauty of the Arabian horse breed.

17:40 - Do you remember the poems of Mikhail Lermontov?
Four wives are yours if you pay the gold;
But a mettlesome steed is of price untold;
The whirlwind itself on the steppe is less fleet;
He knows no treachery—no deceit.
[A Hero of Our Time]

Lyrics are which starting to sing at 18:00

Красный конь / RED HORSE

At dawn, in the early morning at dawn,
A red horse walks in the grassy field beyond the river,
A red horse walks.
My childhood is like a red horse, bathed in sunlight and shaking its golden mane.

As soon as you touch it, the dew jingles in the meadows, in the meadows.
The red horse proudly
glows in the wind.
My childhood is like a red horse, stamping the ground with its hoof and drinking the quiet out of the river.

[Only subsequent lines are sung in the movie.]

I will go, stretch out my hand
And say, "Take me home,
Red horse."

You are probably here for a reason, just like people's kindness, my childhood, my red horse.
You are probably here for a reason, just like people's kindness, my childhood, my red horse.

0:01 - This is the largest Christmas tree in Paris. The Electric Christmas tree in the full height of the Eiffel Tower. To create it took 30,000 lamps and 7,000 meters of light strings.

0:20 - It glows a huge inscription: Happy New Year.

0:23 - "Happy New Year". Of course, this is the wish that each of the Parisians and each of the French perceives in their own way and puts its meaning into the concept of "happiness".

0:35 - "Happy New Year". For large entrepreneurs, this means new millions of revenues and new state subsidies. For 1,800,000 French workers and employees who are out of work (and half of whom have no unemployment benefits), the greatest happiness is finding a job. For hundreds of thousands of other workers, the greatest happiness is not to lose their job in the new year.

1:03 - Some people can afford to buy a trendy New Year's dress, which costs more than a monthly salary for which unions are fighting, while others are happy that they can spend several hours among these pavilions, which traditionally appear during the New Year holidays on the outskirt streets of Paris.

1:25 - Every family glad with new year gifts. There are many families where there are no new year gifts.

1:31 - Donations are being collected for 200,000 children, lonely elderly people and the most disadvantaged people. These are the special concerns of Père Noël who is a French Santa Claus.

1:44 - New Year is a common holiday. But it also makes a clear distinction between wealth and poverty, worries and desires.

Training and interviews of one of the first Ninjutsu masters in the USSR near the railway tracks on the outskirts of Moscow in the “Around the World” TV program. In accordance with the tradition of this martial art, the Ninja does not reveal his own face and name.

0:04 - Anchorperson: It is hard to imagine the amazement of the passengers of commuter trains which see from windows of their trains in one of Moscow's wastelands just such a strange person for our capital.

0:48 - Moscow Ninja: I do this all my life for over 20 years. And it has nothing to do with sport. This is life. This is art. This is the art of being myself. Any martial art can be compared to painting, poetry, graphics, architecture. And the person who comprehends it must live by the laws of good.

2:23 - Moscow Ninja: Here I showed you a free katani jutsubei (?). This is a dance of a soul

2:34 - Moscow Ninja: This is the martial art only for professionals. This is not a sport. And the goal here is not to win on tatami. And the goal here is not to win on tatami and get a medal. The goal is to survive and destroy the enemy.

3:44 - Moscow Ninja: My advice to you is that you never need to apply any of this.

Maybe it was Putin.

At 3:10 it looked like the ninja pretended to rip his opponent's heart out and show it to him.
