This is my DPMS LR .308 which I really enjoy shooting more than my Bushmaster .223.

Can't view the link.
How is your inventory of .308? I'm in full production, so if you are looking for any, pm me. |

That's my weapon of choice, the .308. The shells are all pretty well available now. My boys, on the other hand, shoot the .243 because the .308 had the tendency to kick a little too much and they would end up with black eyes from the scope hitting them. I've got tons of those shells, but I haven't been able to find them on shelves anywhere.

I am going to invite myself up to your place before too much longer and follow you around your reloading shop so I can learn it. We've seen how easily ammo can evaporate even when fedzog isn't trying to make it evaporate. How much more so if they were trying? I will eat up all your food, drink up all your liquor and probably make passes at your wife, but it will be worth it all to you to pass this knowledge along to a fellow WN. |

I'm a small time operation, but sold 550 rounds of .223 to a friend of mine yesterday. Saved him from being raped on the market, and made a tidy little profit for my time. Getting dies for the .30-30, .380 Auto, and .40 S&W next......and probably .45 ACP and .243 believe it or not. Word is starting to get around these parts, and more and more people are making inquiries about what I can load for them. Currently loading .308 Win, .223 Rem, 9mm Luger, and 8mm Mauser Last edited by Mr A.Anderson; May 23rd, 2013 at 08:41 PM. |

Would it still be a bargain after factoring in shipping?

Well went to the range today and actually did really good. I also managed to save up 80 rds of spent brass. I just may go back Monday because the range will be open for us. I noticed they look a lot prettier before they're fired.

The last box of these babies I saw on a shelf was 2-3 months ago, and they were $30 a box of 25. I can do them for less than a buck per round, and have them out the wazzoo right now. As far as loading target or practice ammo - I can still occasionally find 115 gr fmj on the shelves in 9mm for $15 or less a box of 50. That is the price I can load those for (fmj is much less expensive than the Gold Dot) so I buy those up every time I see them. Some day, I will get into casting my own lead wad cutters to cut costs on practice ammo, but until then, it isn't really saving much to load my own. I do have a couple hundred fmj bullet heads set aside if they dry up on the market completely. |

A lot of people bad mouth 9mm on gun forums and other places. They say things like .45 or nothing. This video shows it's not bad at all. It might make a slightly smaller entry hole but so what, look what it does on the inside, reminds me of a .223. I had a Beretta Cx4 in 9mm for a little while and used to shoot it at the 50 yd mark at the range. It was a lot of fun to shoot. It didn't even feel like a real gun, it was so light. Once in a while I would shoot down range at the hundred yard targets. I can't say I was getting good groups but I was usually on paper.
