Default Where US foreign policy is in trouble, ISIS seems to show up and save the day.

ISIS: US-Saudi Plague Reaches Indonesia?

ISIS attacks conveniently mesh with Washington's growing frustration with Jakarta and its expanding ties with China.

Coordinated bombings and mass shootings struck Indonesia's capital of Jakarta on Thursday leaving several dead and many more wounded. The pattern matched that of attacks carried out last year in Paris, France, where known terrorists Western intelligence agencies were tracking, some for years, were somehow allowed to mobilize large caches of weapons in Belgium and execute their coordinated mass murder with virtually no effort to stop them ahead of the attacks.

The so-called "Islamic State in Iraq and Syria" quickly claimed responsibility for the attack and the Western media has begun stoking fears that the terrorist organization has now spread to Southeast Asia.

G.I. Jihadis: Wherever US Foreign Policy is in Trouble, ISIS is There...

A pattern is beginning to develop. Wherever the US wants to put its military, ISIS shows up and conveniently justifies it. And whenever the US is having a problem persuading a foreign government to do what Washington desires, ISIS shows up. In fact, pretty much everywhere US foreign policy is in trouble, ISIS and similarly state-sponsored terrorism seems to show up and save the day.

ISIS itself is a creation of the US and its European and Middle Eastern allies. The US' own Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) admitted as much in a leaked 2012 report (.pdf) which stated:

If the situation unravels there is the possibility of establishing a declared or undeclared Salafist principality in eastern Syria (Hasaka and Der Zor), and this is exactly what the supporting powers to the opposition want, in order to isolate the Syrian regime, which is considered the strategic depth of the Shia expansion (Iraq and Iran).

To clarify just who these "supporting powers" were that sought the creation of a "Salafist" (Islamic) principality" (State), the DIA report explains:

The West, Gulf countries, and Turkey support the opposition; while Russia, China, and Iran support the regime.

When the US' own Defense Intelligence Agency says the US sought the creation of a "Salafist principality," the verbatim definition of the so-called "Islamic State," in eastern Syria precisely where ISIS is now established, it is clear that ISIS is an enemy of the West in name only, and only to distract from the fact that this abhorrent terrorist organizations is in reality one of the West's most potent and far reaching foreign policy tools. ISIS is a reboot of sorts of Al Qaeda which the US and its Saudi allies first created - intentionally - to wage proxy war against the Soviet Union with in Afghanistan during the 1980s.

Instead of waging war against the Soviet Union with Al Qaeda, the US is now waging an increasingly global war against Syria, Iraq, Libya, Afghanistan, and now clearly much of East and Southeast Asia with either ISIS or a similarly state-sponsored terrorist organization with.

What Other Explanation Could there Be?

What the world is expected to believe is that the "Islamic State in Iraq and Syria" so named because of where it is supposedly based and primarily operates, is currently fighting both the Syrian and Iraqi governments, Lebanon's Hezbollah, Iran, and Russian airpower, apparently funded, armed, and backed by no one.

Additionally, we are expected to believe ISIS is also fighting thousands of "moderate rebels" the US and its allies claim to have armed, funded, and trained to the tune of several billion dollars. Not only are they fighting these moderates backed by a multi-billion dollar multinational coalition, but are fighting and have been winning. But it doesn't end there. We are also expected to believe that ISIS is also weathering the combined military might of the US, France, Germany, the UK, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Jordan.

Image: If the US and its allies are arming, funding, and training "moderate rebels" to the tune of billions of dollars, who is arming, funding, and training ISIS on a greater scale that has allowed them to dominate the fighting in Syria and Iraq? The answer of course is there were never any moderates to begin with, and the rise of ISIS was very much intentional.

And finally, we are expected to believe not only all of this, and that ISIS is independently supporting expanding operations in Afghanistan and Libya, but that ISIS now has the extra time, money, resources, and inclination to attack Indonesia all the way in Southeast Asia.

Few nations-states on Earth possess the ability to do what it is claimed ISIS is doing, everywhere it is doing it, and to the degree of success it is allegedly doing it with. Among those few nations, there is only one that benefits from ISIS' activities. The United States.

What's the US Using ISIS and other Terror Groups in Asia for and Why?

It was just in August of last year that the joint US-Turkish terrorist group, the "Grey Wolves," were implicated in a bombing in Southeast Asia's Thailand. The bomb blast killed 20 and maimed many more in an attack that killed mostly Chinese tourists.

The attack was part of a wider terror campaign backed by the US and Turkey in China's western Xinjiang region where Turkic Uyghur terrorists have been carrying out attacks for years. The US-Turkish backed Grey Wolves have been behind training and arming terrorists in China for years, and more recently have played a role in smuggling Uyghur fighters from China, through Southeast Asia - including through Thailand - and onward to Syria to fight the West's proxy war there.

Image: Thailand and China conducted their first ever joint-air military exercises last year, amid ongoing efforts by Thailand to modernize its military through the purchase of Chinese weapon systems including armored vehicles and even submarines.

Killing Chinese tourists in Thailand was aimed at straining recent and growing ties between Bangkok and Beijing. Thailand has recently sought closer military and economic cooperation with China while slowly moving away from an increasingly meddlesome West. Bangkok had sought to purchase Chinese weapons, including several submarines. It already possesses Chinese-made warships and armored vehicles, and late last year conducted its first ever joint Thai-Chinese air military exercises.

Economically, Thailand has been working with China toward a deal to construct additional rail infrastructure both in Thailand, and connecting the nation beyond, including to China itself.

When the US has repeatedly placed pressure on Bangkok to join its provocations in the South China Sea aimed at Beijing, Bangkok has repeatedly insisted that the conflict is none of their business, and that they will play no part in it.

The bombing in August by a terrorist organization which at one point was run out of the US embassy in Ankara during the Cold War, was a warning to Bangkok that if it hinders rather than aids US "primacy" in Asia, it will suffer destabilization.

Default ISIS Punishes Indonesia for its "Sins"

And Indonesia is likewise "guilty" of many of the same "sins." Jakarta while occasionally challenging China rhetorically, has repeatedly avoided getting too deeply involved in America's provocations in the South China Sea. Additionally, Jakarta, like Bangkok, has sought to build greater economic ties with Beijing. This includes a deal that will see China construct a high-speed rail network throughout the country.

Bloomberg Business' article, "China to Build $5 Billion High-Speed Rail Line in Indonesia," would state:

China won the rights to build a $5.5 billion railway line in Indonesia as the Southeast Asian nation tries to upgrade its infrastructure to drive economic growth.

The massive infrastructure project will boost both China and Indonesia for decades to come. With the economic opportunities mass transportation brings a nation, opportunities for Washington to use socioeconomic disparity as a tool to divide and gain leverage over nations like Indonesia internally as it and other Western powers have done in the past will dwindle. Additionally, that China is building such projects in both Thailand and Indonesia, will only lead to greater ties between Beijing and a rising Southeast Asia - a Southeast Asia rising on the back of expanding and improving infrastructure.

With few attractive alternatives to offer Southeast Asia, the United States appears to have departed from offering "carrots" it does not have, and has instead resorted increasingly to the "stick." But instead of wielding that stick itself, it has handed it to the "Salafist principality" it admittedly conspired to create with its allies in eastern Syria in 2012.

For the crime of wanting to move further out from under what the US itself calls its "primacy over Asia," Indonesia has been attacked, and now has the menace of ISIS being further still dangled over its head if it continues forging stronger ties with Beijing.

Thailand and Indonesia are not alone. The US has openly declared in signed and dated policy papers that it believes controlling a unified Southeast Asian front, and arraying it against China, is the only way to encircle, contain, and eventually undermine and destroy the current political order in Beijing.

To that end, the United States has formulated an array of options ranging from supporting internal political subversion through US State Department-funded political fronts and nongovernmental organizations, to an increasing dependency on terrorism, to coerce Southeast Asia away from Beijing while dividing and disrupting Southeast Asia's own geopolitical future.

The US and its allies could at any day expose and cut ISIS' supply lines leading from their various subsidiaries and fronts around the world, back to Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and its other state-sponsors. Instead, the US protects and cover up this extensive, global state-sponsorship of terrorism. As such, when "ISIS attacks," it is really an extension of US foreign policy, and not merely ISIS alone that is committing this violence, nor for ISIS and its own agenda alone that it is being carried out.

Most ironic of all, perhaps, is the possibility that because of America's dwindling credibility worldwide, and its waning influence in Asia, its complicity in the violence being carried out against the governments and peoples of Southeast Asia may - instead of creating a unified front against China - end up creating a unified front displacing Washington's influence form the region. In many ways this is already underway, and Thursday's attack in Jakarta may only stand to accelerate this process.

Default U.S. Official Says Airstrikes Forced ISIS to Cut Its Fighters' Pay in Half (again)

The Islamic State militant group has been forced to cut pay to its fighters by up to 50 percent because U.S.-led airstrikes have had a substantial impact on the money it makes from oil, a senior U.S official said on Monday.

Daniel Glaser, assistant secretary for terrorist financing at the U.S. Treasury Department

"(ISIS) has cut salaries to its fighters in (its de facto capital) Raqqa by up to 50 percent," he added.

The strikes had also targeted cash storage sites which had "literally incinerated millions of dollars".

Daniel Glaser, assistant secretary for terrorist financing

I thought Haaretz was trying to be funny, but the jewnited states really DOES have an "assistant secretary for terrorist financing". He serves under David. That's David S. Cohen.

Hackers trace ISIS Twitter accounts back to internet addresses linked to Department of Work and Pensions

18:39, 14 DEC 2015 UPDATED 12:15, 25 MAR 2016
BY JASPER HAMILL

Teenage computer experts unveil astonishing web of unpublicised interactions linking extremist social media mouthpieces to the British government

Hackers have claimed that a number of Islamic State supporters' social media accounts are being run from internet addresses linked to the Department of Work and Pensions.

A group of four young computer experts who call themselves VandaSec have unearthed evidence indicating that at least three ISIS-supporting accounts can be traced back to the DWP.

Every computer and mobile phone logs onto the internet using an IP address, which is a type of identification number.

Update: British government admits it can't stop ISIS extremists using internet addresses

The hacking collective showed Mirror Online details of the IP addresses used by a trio of separate digital jihadis to access Twitter accounts, which have been used to spread extremist propaganda.

At first glance, the IP addresses seem to be based in Saudi Arabia, but upon further inspection using specialist tools they appeared to link back to the DWP.

"Don't you think that's strange?" one of the hackers asked Mirror Online. "We traced these accounts back to London, the home of the British intelligence services."

VandaSec's work has sparked wild rumours suggesting someone inside the DWP is running ISIS-supporting accounts, or they were created by intelligence services as a honeypot to trap wannabe jihadis.

However, when Mirror Online traced the IP addresses obtained by VandaSec, we found they actually pointed to a series of unpublicised transactions between Britain and Saudi Arabia.

We learned that the British government sold on a large number of IP addresses to two Saudi Arabian firms.

After the sale completed in October of this year, they were used by extremists to spread their message of hate.

Jamie Turner, an expert from a firm called PCA Predict, discovered a record of the sale of IP addresses, and found a large number were transferred to Saudi Arabia in October of this year.

He told us it was likely the IP addresses could still be traced back to the DWP because records of the addresses had not yet been fully updated.

The Cabinet Office has now admitted to selling the IP addresses on to Saudi Telecom and the Saudi-based Mobile Telecommunications Company earlier this year as part of a wider drive to get rid of a large number of the DWP's IP addresses.

It said the British government can have no control over how these addresses are used after the sale.

A Cabinet Office spokesperson said: "The government owns millions of unused IP addresses which we are selling to get a good return for hardworking taxpayers.

"We have sold a number of these addresses to telecoms companies both in the UK and internationally to allow their customers to connect to the internet.

"We think carefully about which companies we sell addresses to, but how their customers use this internet connection is beyond our control."

The government did not reveal how much money was made from selling the IP addresses to the pair of Saudi firms, because it regards this information as commercially sensitive.

Default Report: ISIS Planning Imminent Attack on Jews in Turkey

Quote:
Sky News claims in an exclusive that ISIS is in the advanced stages of a plan to murder Jewish children in Turkey. The terrorists are allegedly targeting kindergartens, schools and youth centers.

There is an active plot, according to Sky News’ sources, who are ‘Caliphate’ operatives arrested in Turkey over the past week.

Jews will sacrifice their own in order to advance in world domination. Look at AMIA with the Mossad. They'd rather have ISISraelis do it.

The world's leading building materials company Lafarge paid taxes to the Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL) in 2013-2014 to continue operations in northern Syria, reports Le Monde.

The newspaper claims Lafarge’s plant was located in Jalabiya in northern Syria, controlled by IS militants. The company had sought to continue the work as long as possible despite dangerous and unstable environment. Lafarge started working in Syria in 2010, a year before the civil war broke out.

Le Monde says Lafarge made a deal with IS and the terrorists allowed the French to operate on their territory. The company’s trucks could pass through the checkpoints set by the IS, for example, the paper reports.

Lafarge is the world leader in building materials and one of the biggest players in cement, aggregates and concrete businesses.

The French cement producer was indirectly funding the jihadists for over a year before IS seized the site on September 19, 2014.

kike admits ISIS are doing the dirty work for the benefit of Israel, basically

ISIS THREAT By EFRAIM INBAR \ 08/03/2016 12:51

Comment: The destruction of Islamic State is a strategic mistake

A weak but functioning IS can undermine the appeal of the caliphate among radical Muslims, keep bad actors focused on one another and hamper Iran’s quest for regional hegemony.

US Defense Secretary Ashton Carter recently gathered defense ministers from allied nations to plan what officials hope will be the decisive stage in the campaign to eradicate the Islamic State (IS) organization. This is a strategic mistake.

IS, a radical Islamist group, has killed thousands of people since it declared an Islamic caliphate in June 2014, with the Syrian city of Raqqa as its de facto capital. It captured tremendous international attention by swiftly conquering large swaths of land and by releasing gruesome pictures of beheadings and other means of execution.

Be the first to know - Join our Facebook page.

But IS is primarily successful where there is a political void. Although the offensives in Syria and Iraq showed IS’s tactical capabilities, they were directed against failed states with weakened militaries. On occasions when the poorly trained IS troops have met well-organized opposition, even that of non-state entities like the Kurdish militias, the group’s performance has been less convincing. When greater military pressure was applied and Turkish support dwindled, IS went into retreat.

It is true that IS has ignited immense passion among many young and frustrated Muslims all over the world, and the caliphate idea holds great appeal among believers. But the relevant question is what can IS do, particularly in its current situation? The terrorist activities for which it recently took responsibility were perpetrated mostly by lone wolves who declared their allegiance to IS; they were not directed from Raqqa. On its own, IS is capable of only limited damage.

A weak IS is, counterintuitively, preferable to a destroyed IS. IS is a magnet for radicalized Muslims in countries throughout the world. These volunteers are easier targets to identify, saving intelligence work. They acquire destructive skills in the fields of Syria and Iraq that are of undoubted concern if they return home, but some of them acquire shaheed status while still away - a blessing for their home countries. If IS is fully defeated, more of these people are likely to come home and cause trouble.

If IS loses control over its territory, the energies that went into protecting and governing a state will be directed toward organizing more terrorist attacks beyond its borders. The collapse of IS will produce a terrorist diaspora that might further radicalize Muslim immigrants in the West. Most counter-terrorism agencies understand this danger. Prolonging the life of IS probably assures the deaths of more Muslim extremists at the hands of other bad guys in the Middle East, and is likely to spare the West several terrorist attacks.

Moreover, a weak and lingering IS could undermine the attraction of the caliphate idea. A dysfunctional and embattled political entity is more conducive to the disillusionment of Muslim adherents of a caliphate in our times than an IS destroyed by a mighty America-led coalition. The latter scenario perfectly fits the narrative of continuous and perfidious efforts on the part of the West to destroy Islam, which feeds radical Muslim hatred for everything the West stands for.

The continuing existence of IS serves a strategic purpose. Why help the brutal Assad regime win the Syrian civil war? Many radical Islamists in the opposition forces, i.e., Al Nusra and its offshoots, might find other arenas in which to operate closer to Paris and Berlin. Is it in the West’s interests to strengthen the Russian grip on Syria and bolster its influence in the Middle East? Is enhancing Iranian control of Iraq congruent with American objectives in that country? Only the strategic folly that currently prevails in Washington can consider it a positive to enhance the power of the Moscow-Tehran-Damascus axis by cooperating with Russia against IS.

Furthermore, Hezbollah – a radical Shiite anti-Western organization subservient to Iran – is being seriously taxed by the fight against IS, a state of affairs that suits Western interests. A Hezbollah no longer involved in the Syrian civil war might engage once again in the taking of western hostages and other terrorist acts in Europe.

The Western distaste for IS brutality and immorality should not obfuscate strategic clarity. IS are truly bad guys, but few of their opponents are much better. Allowing bad guys to kill bad guys sounds very cynical, but it is useful and even moral to do so if it keeps the bad guys busy and less able to harm the good guys. The Hobbesian reality of the Middle East does not always present a neat moral choice.

The West yearns for stability, and holds out a naive hope that the military defeat of IS will be instrumental in reaching that goal. But stability is not a value in and of itself. It is desirable only if it serves our interests. The defeat of IS would encourage Iranian hegemony in the region, buttress Russia’s role, and prolong Assad’s tyranny. Tehran, Moscow, and Damascus do not share our democratic values and have little inclination to help America and the West.

Moreover, instability and crises sometimes contain portents of positive change. Unfortunately, the Obama administration fails to see that its main enemy is Iran. The Obama administration has inflated the threat from IS in order to legitimize Iran as a “responsible” actor that will, supposedly, fight IS in the Middle East. This was part of the Obama administration’s rationale for its nuclear deal with Iran and central to its “legacy,” which is likely to be ill-remembered.

The American administration does not appear capable of recognizing the fact that IS can be a useful tool in undermining Tehran’s ambitious plan for domination of the Middle East.

Efraim Inbar, director of the Begin-Sadat Center for Strategic Studies, is professor emeritus of political studies at Bar-Ilan University and a fellow at the Middle East Forum.

Daesh Reportedly Executes Nine Youths With Chainsaws in Iraq

As the Daesh terrorist group loses ground in the Middle East, it is resorting to committing atrocities against civilians.

On Tuesday, the terrorist group reported that Abu Mohammed al-Adnani, its second-in-command, was dead — one of 40 terrorists killed in a Russian airstrike in the Aleppo province. Losing influence and strength in the region, Daesh has reportedly resorted to new acts of horrific depravity, killing young people tied to a pole in a public square in the city of Mosul. "ISIS fighters have executed nine youths of Mosul.

The outfit accused that these youths belonged to an anti-ISIS resistance faction," a source inside the city told Iraqi News. "The death sentence pronounced by ISIS sharia court stated that the men should be tied to an iron pole in the center of Tal Afar Square in Mosul and then sliced into two with an electric chainsaw." On Tuesday, Daesh extremists reportedly used metal wire to sew up the mouths of four Mosul residents accused of mentioning Iraqi Army victories.

"Four of our residents were discussing the success of the army in a casual conversation about politics, when another man suddenly joined in. He casually discussed with them the defeat of Daesh and offensive operations in Nineveh," a resident told Sputnik. "Later, all four people were caught. Right where they were standing, their mouths were sewn up with metal wire."

Pentagon presents new anti-Daesh plans to Trump

Mon Feb 27, 2017 6:50PM
HomeUSMilitary

Quote:
The Pentagon has completed plans demanded by President Donald Trump for a more intensified military campaign against Daesh terrorists.

"The White House will begin reviewing the recommendations," a White House official, speaking on condition of anonymity, said on Monday.

Defense Secretary James Mattis is scheduled to present the plans to Trump's top national security advisers later on Monday.

During his election campaign, Trump publicly called for a tougher military action against the terrorist organization wreaking havoc in Iraq and Syria.

Military officials said the options under consideration include reducing White House oversight of decisions before an operation is conducted and giving more tactical authority to the Pentagon.

The recommendations might also include easing restrictions on the number of US troops needed to carry out a mission.

Military officials, however, acknowledged that giving more latitude to the Pentagon will result in deployment of more US forces.

Why do ISIS Videos All come from Israeli Intelligence?
May 10, 2017

The grisly ISIS videos, like the most recent one supposedly showing the killing of a Russian soldier, all come to us through Israeli agents working for Israeli intelligence. How can it be that the ISIS media outlet "al Furat Media Foundation" is able to produce high quality videos, but does not even have a website? Nor is ISIS even able to send its nasty videos directly to its chosen audience, in this case the Russian government or media outlets. Why is it that ISIS videos all come to us from Israeli intelligence?

Let's look at the most recent ISIS video and examine how it came to Western media outlets:

First, the Israeli intelligence agent Rita Katz of SITE Intelligence Group in Bethesda, Maryland, issues a message with photos and information, like the one above. Western media outlets subscribe to her propaganda service and report on the videos giving source credit to SITE Intelligence Group, which is usually described as "U.S.-based" although there is nothing American about it. It is purely Israeli intelligence/progaganda to feed Israel's fraudulent War on Terror. In this message Katz says the video comes from Furat Media - what's that?

If we look up "al Furat" in Wikipedia we find four media outlets named Furat, but none of them are "al Furat Media Foundation." If we do a Google search for videos from al Furat Media, we find that all the videos supposedly from ISIS Furat Media don't come from a website belonging to "al Furat" at all, but come to us from a website called Jihadology.net. What is that?

Well, here is the latest grisly ISIS video at the top of the Jihadology.net webpage. It calls itself "a clearinghouse for jihadi primary source material." That's interesting. All of the Furat videos come from Jihadology.net. Who runs that?

Aaron Yosef Zelin - Well, Jihadology.net is run by a Jewish Zionist from Highland Park, Illinois, named Aaron Zelin. He works with Zionist think-tanks like the Washington Institute for Near East Policy and graduated from Brandeis University.

Aaron Y. Zelin speaks and writes about ISIS. His father, Richard D. Zelin, is a high-level Zionist in Chicago. He was Associate Director of the Jewish Community Relations Council of the Jewish United Fund and Director of the Chicago Conference on Soviet Jewry, among other things. How did this Zionist kid from Chicago become such an expert of ISIS?

Well, Aaron Zelin attends Israeli intelligence events like the International Institute for Counter-Terrorism's (ICT) 16th International Conference at Mossad university, the Inter-Disciplinary Center (IDC) in Herzliya. This event opened on the evening of September 11, 2016. One of the key speakers was the Israeli-American dual-national Michael Chertoff, the former Asst. Attorney General who oversaw the destruction of the crucial evidence from the 9/11 bombings. The Jewish Voice reported that Aaron Y. Zelin also spoke at the five-day conference. So, the source of the "al Furat" videos is actually an American Zionist who works very closely with Israeli military intelligence. So, who is actually making these grisly videos and why are they all coming to us through Israeli agents like Rita Katz and Aaron Zelin?

Answer: Because these videos are all productions of Israeli intelligence made to frighten the West into supporting Israel's war agenda in the Middle East.

Default Terror in Europe - Why ISIS is Allowed to Strike

June 9, 2017 (Ulson Gunnar - NEO) - The London Bridge terror attack saw a repeat of a now familiar narrative in which every suspect involved had been long-known to both British security and intelligence agencies.

The London Telegraph in an article titled, "Khuram Butt, Rachid Redouane and Youssef Zaghba named: Everything we know about the London Bridge terrorists," would reveal:

The ringleader of the London Bridge massacre never bothered to hide his violent, extremist views. Khuram Butt was so brazen that he openly posed with the black flag of the so-called Islamic State in Regent’s Park in the centre of London for a Channel 4 documentary, entitled The Jihadis Next Door.

Butt and other extremists linked to the banned terror group al-Muhajiroun were even detained by police for an hour over the stunt in 2015 but were released without being arrested.

The al-Muhajiroun terror group is headed by British-based extremist, Anjem Choudary, who for years helped fill the ranks of militant groups fighting governments the US and UK sought to overthrow in Libya, Syria and beyond. Choudary inexplicably escaped the consequences of his open advocacy and material support for known terrorist organizations for years, with the London Guardian in an article titled, "Anjem Choudary: a hate preacher who spread terror in UK and Europe," going as far as speculating he did so because he was actually an informant or operative working for the British government.

The article would also admit that Butt was under investigation by British intelligence up to the day of the attack:

MI5 and counter-terrorism officers began an investigation into Butt, which remained ongoing even as the 27-year-old launched his terror attack on London Bridge. Butt, who was wearing an Arsenal shirt and a fake bomb strapped to his chest, was shot dead by police on Saturday night.

A second suspect, Rachid Redouane, was repeatedly brought to the attention of police who ignored warnings he was an extremist and a member of the so-called "Islamic State."

The Telegraph reports that a third suspect, Youssef Zaghba, was also known to police:

He was reportedly arrested at Bologna airport in March 2016 trying to get to Syria and was also understood to be on an Italian anti-terror watch list.

The fact that these three suspects evaded capture and were able to carry out their attack despite being known and even monitored actively by British security and intelligence agencies lends even further credibility to the notion that they and others like them work for the British government, not against it.

Unable to Reach Syria, West's Dogs of War Bite Local Population

Networks like al-Muhajiroun and the extremists they cultivate help fill the ranks of "moderate rebel" groups the US, UK, other European nations including France, as well as regional allies like Turkey, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates and Qatar are arming, funding and providing direct military support for in Libya, Syria, Yemen and beyond.

This fact goes far in explaining why extremists are allowed - for years - to openly advocate violence and recruit members into what is essentially a terrorist organization operating under the nose of British security and intelligence agencies - if not with their collective and eager complicity.

While these terrorists are labeled "moderate rebels" when fighting abroad, they are only labeled as such by the Western media out of necessity in an attempt to differentiate them from the extremists that are in fact fighting the West's proxy war for it in places like Syria.

Suspects like Youssef Zaghba even attempted to travel to Syria to fight among the ranks of Western-backed militant groups - and failing to do so - participated in armed violence in the UK instead. Had he traveled onward to Syria, it would have been innocent Syrians instead of innocent British civilians terrorized, attacked, maimed and killed.

Default A Strategy of Terror and Tension

And despite the reality of the US and UK along with other European and Persian Gulf allies openly fueling terrorism at home and abroad, in the wake of tragic events like in London, Manchester, Paris, or Brussels, the very government organizations clearly responsible for presiding over these terrorists and their networks, sometimes for months and even years before an attack, are granted even more power to address a problem of their own intentional creation.

These organizations are able to do so in plain sight of the public specifically because of another conflict they openly orchestrate, pitting the general public against one another along lines of "anti-Islamic" fervor versus social justice advocates.

What both sides of this manufactured and intentionally perpetuated divide fail to realize is that Muslims are dying by the tens of thousands in places like Syria actively fighting against extremism springing not from Islam or the Qu'ran, but from the Pentagon, Westminster, Paris, Brussels, Riyadh, Ankara and Doha. It is not a clash of civilizations, but a manufactured conflict designed to perpetually fill the ranks of mercenaries abroad while exploiting their violence at home to procure more power and wealth through fear, anger and hysteria.

With wars in Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, Yemen and beyond adding up to trillions for defense contractors and including weapon systems designed to fight them, with the F-35 joint strike fighter alone topping one trillion US dollars and as the West continues to openly act with impunity when and where it pleases despite violating the very international law it claims it is upholding globally, it is clear that, for now, this strategy is working.

If and when the general public understands the truth of why their lives are put in danger and their nation's resources are being squandered abroad instead of at home for building their own futures, this strategy will be less successful. Until then, it appears that simplistic propaganda still works in convincing the public that governments like in London are simply incapable of arresting terrorists who appear regularly on TV, in the media and who openly operate in public with apparent and otherwise inexplicable impunity.

jewsign Israel Has a Soft Spot for Sunni Extremism

Quote:
Like Saudi Arabia, Israel Has a Soft Spot for Sunni Extremism
"Let the Sunni Evil Prevail"
In the War on Terror, Israel’s Government is Not a Reliable Friend of the American People—But Neither is Our Own

By Brian P. McGlinchey

Thanks to the summer of 2016's release of 28 pages detailing a variety of links between 9/11 hijackers and Saudi government officials—and the October leak of a 2014 email from former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton declaring the Saudi government was directly supporting ISIS—it’s increasingly clear that the U.S. government’s depiction of Saudi Arabia as a vital ally in the “war on terror” is dishonest.

Unfortunately, Saudi Arabia isn’t the only supposed “ally” whose official depiction as a steadfast foe of terrorism is out of sync with reality: The branding of Israel as a "friend" is also deeply misleading.

Israeli Aid to Al Qaeda in Syria

Though it received very little coverage in U.S. media, last year (2016)it was revealed that the Israeli government was providing medical support to the al Nusra Front, a Syrian arm of al Qaeda.

That would seem inconsistent with routine declarations from U.S. politicians that there should be “no daylight” between the United States and Israel, language that suggests two peoples whose interests are in perfect alignment.

Where Israel’s support of an al Qaeda affiliate is concerned, however, a former chief of the Mossad—Israel’s national intelligence agency—pulls no punches in differentiating between U.S. and Israeli interests.

Al Jazeera’s Mehdi Hasan asked Efraim Halevy why Israel would give medical aid to wounded members of al Qaeda—and return them to jihad in Syria—but not to the wounded of Hezbollah, the Iran-allied Shi’a militant group in Lebanon that has often clashed with Israel and has been linked, sometimes dubiously, to terror attacks.

[B]“We have a different account with Hezbollah. A totally different account. Al Qaeda, to the best of my recollection, has not attacked Israel,” he said.

Incredulous, Hasan replied, “It has attacked your number one ally and protector and sponsor, the United States of America!”

“Israel was not specifically targeted by al Qaeda, and therefore it’s a different kind of account than we have with Hezbollah,” replied Halevy. TJB

It wasn’t the first time a former Israeli official voiced a preference for Sunni extremism, even though Sunni terror has proven—before, during and after 9/11—a far greater menace to American and Western lives than Shi’a extremism.

Speaking at the Aspen Institute in June 2014, former Israeli ambassador to the United States Michael Oren said Israel should hope Sunni extremists prevail in Iraq.

So much for “no daylight.”

Default Russian General Staff to US: 'You're Only Pretending to Fight ISIS - Get Out of Our Way'

Quote:
Russian irritation with US support for ISIS is on full display

This is a repeat of an article which ran this morning entitled: 'Areas With US Special Forces' Are Source of Attacks in Syria - Russian TV. We are running it again with a different headline to highlight a different aspect of the story.

The following news report appeared on the main government news channel yesterday (Friday) afternoon.

Russia continues to accuse the US of effectively fighting them as they mop up ISIS in Syria.

Attacks are coming from areas where US special forces are based. The Russians suspect, with good reason, that the Americans are helping coordinate the attacks.

Another accusation is that somebody opened the upstream dams to raise the water level of the Euphrates, complicating getting troops and equipment across it.
This could not have been done without American approval, as they control the forces who control the dams.

The Russian military is, understandably, angry.

Defense Ministry spokesman general Konashenkov did not mince words, calling out the US for supporting ISIS, and only pretending to fight them for the last 3 years, telling them to 'Get Out of the Way.'

As the end of ISIS approaches in Syria, it is obvious who is really fighting them, and who has been pretending to fight them for the last 3 years.

If the American (israeli-controlled)led coalition would prefer not to fight terrorism in Syria, then the least they could do is get out of the way of those who have been doing it consistently and effectively.

Here is the full transcript:

Militants have attacked Syrian troops in Deir-ez-zor.

They came from the North, where US special services are located, along with Syrian Democratic Force bases.

This was reported by General Igor Konashenkov, spokesman of the Russian Defense Ministry

In addition, there has been a dramatic increase in the water level of the Euphrates river over the last 24 hours

Making it difficult for the Syrian army to traverse the river.

There has been no rain there

The Syrians say that the only way this could have happened is if water was released from upstream dams,

They are guarded by the opposition, which is controlled by the American-led coalition

Konashenkov put special emphasis on the following statement:

As the end of ISIS approaches in Syria, it is obvious who is really fighting them, and who has been pretending to fight them for the last 3 years. If theAmerican led coalition would prefer not to fight terrorism in Syria, then the least they could do is get out of the way of those who have been doing it consistently and effectively.

Despite this, the Syrian army, with the support of the Russian air force, continues to expand the bridgehead on the east bank of the Euphrates. They have freed 60 sq. kilometers from the terrorists.

I remind you that this is an oil-rich region, which has been providing oil to the terrorists.

That is why they (i.e. the Americans) are so energetic in trying to throw a spanner into the works.

Russians could have handed ISIS's ass to it a long time ago if Uncle Shlomo got out of the way. But the JewSA's objective is to keep the war going as long as possible for the benefit of Israel and have not renounced their goal of regime change in Syria and removing Assad despite any clever mincing of words the State Department has done. Russia is really showing incredible restraint when it comes to the JewSA.

October 17, 2019 (Tony Cartalucci - LD) - As spectacular and indicative of America's sinking fortunes in Syria as its bombing of its own military base in northern Syria was - it is also an indicator of something else much more sinister.

CNN in its article, "US conducts airstrike on weapons storage site as troops pull out of Syria," notes that (emphasis added):

"On Oct. 16, after all Coalition personnel and essential tactical equipment departed, two Coalition F-15Es successfully conducted a pre-planned precision airstrike at the Lafarge Cement Factory to destroy an ammunition cache, and reduce the facility's military usefulness," US Army Col. Myles Caggins, a spokesman for the US-led military coalition fighting ISIS, confirmed in a statement Wednesday.

And indeed the airstrike eliminated the facility's military usefulness once and for all.

Larfarge Facility Served ISIS, then US Occupation of Syrian Territory

Missing from CNN's article was the long and dubious backstory of the Lafarge facility.

In a 2018 Guardian article titled, "Lafarge charged with complicity in Syria crimes against humanity," it was reported that the company had paid terrorists including members of the so-called "Islamic State" (ISIS) millions of Euros in protection money, bought supplies from them, and may even have sold cement to them.

The article noted:

The French cement giant Lafarge was charged on Thursday with complicity in crimes against humanity and financing terrorists, for allegedly paying millions to jihadists, including the Islamic State group, to keep a factory open in war-torn Syria.

The article also noted:

A source close to the inquiry said investigators also suspected that Lafarge sold cement to Isis.

Worse still - as early as 2014 the French government was in contact with Washington in a bid to have the facility spared despite its central role in aiding, abetting, and providing material support to ISIS and other terrorist organizations in Syria.

A 2018 Reuters article titled, "Exclusive: France asked U.S. not to bomb Lafarge factory in Syria in 2014 - emails," would admit:

France asked the United States in 2014 not to bomb a Lafarge cement plant in northern Syria, an area which was at the time controlled by Islamic State, emails that are part of an investigation into the company’s Syria operations show.

While Reuters attempts to question whether or not the US knew the facility was aiding and abetting terrorist organizations it is inconceivable that Washington would be unable to unlock the "mystery" as to how a Western corporation was still able to do business in the heart of ISIS-occupied territory.

With ISIS mostly defeated where the facility is located and with Syrian forces prepared to retake the area it is located in - only then did the US decide to eliminate the facility after serving for years - first in support of US-backed terrorists - then the US' own illegal occupation of Syrian territory.

While documented evidence ranging from the US' own Defense Intelligence Agency to leaked e-mails written by former US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton confirms the rise of Al Qaeda and ISIS in Syria was the result of extensive and deliberate state-backing from the US, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar - the fact that the US only destroyed a facility serving ISIS and Al Qaeda when it became clear it would never be able to be used by them again - adds further light to the truth of Washington's deliberate and central role in engineering, executing, and perpetuating the devastating war in Syria.

Adding insult to injury is the fact that forces taking over where Lafarge's facility was located will undoubtedly be tasked with fighting the remnants of or state-sponsored resurgence of ISIS and Al Qaeda in the near future - minus a key facility that would have helped them do so.

From the beginning of the conflict when the French government refused to have a facility destroyed it and its US allies knew was aiding and abetting terrorists - to America's destruction of the facility to deny its and the surrounding base's resources to Syrian forces tasked with preventing ISIS and Al Qaeda's resurgence - the facility is a symbol of the West's malicious and insidious state-sponsorship of terrorism in their failed proxy war against Damascus.

French intelligence knew cement giant Lafarge paid MILLIONS to ISIS & capitalized on its ties with terrorists – leaked papers

Quote:
French cement giant Lafarge, charged with “crimes against humanity” over paying Islamic State to keep its Syrian plant running, had been informing the country’s spy agencies about its ties with terrorists, leaked papers revealed.

According to a batch of official French documents obtained by Turkish Anadolu news agency, Lafarge representatives have held multiple meetings with domestic, foreign and military intelligence services during the Syrian conflict. The French spy agencies were accused of having used the company’s relationship with Islamic State (IS, Daesh, formerly ISIS/ISIL) and other militant groups to keep up to date with the events on the ground in Syria. They also refrained from warning the cement maker that its ties with terrorists were a crime, according to the agency.

Lafarge is blamed for paying almost €13 million ($15.3 million) to IS and other armed groups to make sure its plant in northern Syria remained operational after the fighting in the country erupted in 2011. Rights groups, which brought claims against the company, alleged that this money had been used to facilitate the movement of staff and goods through terrorist checkpoints. Lafarge reportedly also purchased oil and raw materials from the militants, while supplying them with cement that they used to build fortifications and underground tunnels.
