The Swastika
( the reason I post this in this forum is because it falls under the subject of investigation , i. e. 'science' . .)
- -- . . the most hated symbol by "official German authorities" nowadays . . It is "forbidden" to be displayed today. . The roots of it go back long. . . Althrough ancient times it was present. With those of the Indo-Aryan peoples most prominent. Concerning its meaning. Not many cultural investigators have yet made it their assignment to truly investigate it . . . ( gee , I wonder why . . Since the end of World War 2 it has been "negatively burdened" . . . . . ) Well . . They are present in ancient Hindu/ Buddhist temples . Supposedly it represented the 'circle of reincarnation'. Other explanations have ranged from it being 'a symbol for the arctic sun' among the 'Northlanders' to theories about ancient Atlantis . . . - - - - The National Socialists made it their symbol anyways. . Other symbols unmistakably associated with Aryans include. . . The 'Hindu point'. . . ( supposedly symbolizing the 'third eye' of Indian deities ) . . the Yggdrasil . . . . . or 'world tree' . . . . . the Triskele . . . https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Triskelion . . . . These are but a few . . The National Socialists , I might add , also emphasized back then that it represented the 'new Germany' ( post World War 1 - "reincarnate" ) . . . Funny thing to mention , in Asia it is in use until today . . . Hmmmm . . . "Mysterious symbol", indeed . . . . . and the wheel in the sky keeps on turning |
