Default Judge to rule whether to make 'Dateline' turn over murder suspect's interview

Jul 01, 2016

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - A Knoxville judge could try to force “Dateline NBC” to turn over an interview with the man accused of killing his estranged girlfriend and their unborn son.

Criminal Court Judge Steve Sword heard arguments Thursday to have “Dateline” release a video interview with Norman Clark that has not yet been broadcast.

Clark interviewed with the NBC show, accompanied by his former attorney, Greg Isaacs, right after his mistrial. Jurors came back hopelessly deadlocked 11-1 in favor of a “not guilty” verdict. The state is now seeking a retrial.

Prosecutors want to see what Clark said on camera. While they do not know if it would help their case, there is a possibility the information could be used during the trial, said Assistant District Attorney General Sean McDermott.

McDermott said the state would compare what Clark said on “Dateline” to the statement Clark made to Knoxville Police investigators
and the statement he made in a police squad car back in 2011, after Brittany Eldridge, 25 and their unborn shitskin mongrel “Zeke” were murdered.....

Default Dad jailed for hunting down heroin dealers after daughter's overdose death reveals heartbreak of watching slide into drugs with her addict boyfriend

When police pulled John Cramsey over on the way into New York, they found a huge collection of powerful weapons.

The 50-year-old was arrested and sparked claims that cops had foiled a deadly attack on the Big Apple.

But the Second Amendment supporter insists that he is not a vigilante or a terrorist.

Instead he claims he is just a heartbroken father who was trying to help a girl at risk of being dragged into a heroin addiction - four months after his model daughter overdosed with her boyfriend.

In an interview with The New York Post from the Hudson County Correctional facility in New Jersey, he revealed how he suffered after his 20-year-old daughter Alexandria 'Lexii' Cramsey passed away.

CUMBERLAND COUNTY, N.C. - Cumberland County deputies have released the names of a man and woman found shot to death Wednesday in an apparent murder-suicide. The woman's infant son was also shot.

Deputies said they arrived to a home in the 3400 block of Cumberland Road within 5 minutes of getting a 911 call from the woman's frightened 8-year old child saying his mother had been shot.

When first-responders arrived, they found the baby boy -- just 2 or 3-months-old according to neighbors -- shot in the chest and critically injured.

It happened in the 3400 block of Cumberland Road. Besides the infant, deputies quickly discovered 32-year-old Jessica Ann Parker - who had been shot to death. They then found her boyfriend 35-year-old Sherrell McNeill dead from what appeared to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound......

Tyrill L. Wade is scheduled for a July 28 preliminary hearing on a murder charge that he faces in connection with the Dec. 7, 2010, shooting death of Taylor Poling.

In the meantime, a county-funded expert will examine blood spatter evidence that Wade's attorney says "may be crucial" to prosecutors' case against Wade.

Wade's attorney, James Piazza, asked District Judge M. Randall Jurrens to approve the expert. Because Wade is indigent, he is entitled to expert witnesses at county expense.....

Default Dallas Cowboys' rookie Ezekiel Elliott denies beating up girlfriend and claims she got girsly Instagrammed bruises in a bar fight

Dallas Cowboys rookie Ezekiel Elliott has been accused of beating his girlfriend – but he claimed the bruises all over her body happened during a bar fight.

Tiffany Thompson, 20, took to Instagram on Friday - Elliott's 21st birthday - to document the multiple bruises he allegedly inflicted on her and to say that she had been ‘mentally and physically’ abused for months.

She tagged him in a post on the social media site alongside pictures of bruises on her arms and neck and in another, claimed she had been ‘thrown across the room’ and ‘choked.’

Default Army medic accused of having lover kill his wife is sentenced to two years after murder investigation 'revealed child porn and evidence he was a male prostitute'

An Army medic charged in his wife's death will spend over two years in prison after being court-martialed for possessing child pornography and soliciting payment for sex.

Michael Walker pleaded guilty Saturday to solicitation and not guilty to possession of child pornography, the Honolulu Star-Advertiser reported.

A military judge ordered Walker's rank reduced from sergeant to private and sentenced the 36-year-old to a dishonorable discharge.

Walker said in court that he placed advertisements in September 2014 and was paid for sex multiple times. 'My purpose was to find people to have sex with and at the same time to give me money,' he said.

Defense attorneys argued pornographic images and videos of children found on Walker's computer were dumped there in a massive file transfer. They say prosecutors did not prove Walker was the person who accessed the files.

An attorney pushed for leniency, saying Walker is seeking sex addiction treatment.

Stephen Walker said over the phone from Utah that the family wants to help his son 'and wants to see him recover from this.'

Walker has been in federal custody since he was arrested in November in the case of his wife's stabbing death. Her body was found in November 2014 at the Aliamanu Military Reservation home where she lived with her husband.

Prosecutors say Walker and his lover Ailsa Jackson planned to kill 38-year-old Catherine Walker.

Jackson pleaded guilty to murder in December and said in court that she stabbed Catherine.

Walker was indicted in November on charges of aiding and abetting and conspiring to commit first-degree murder. He faces a January trial in civilian court.

Default Decomposed body found in a garbage bag under a bridge is confirmed to be missing toddler whose parents were arrested after grim discovery

A DNA test has confirmed that a badly decomposed body found in a garbage bag under a bridge along the Mississippi River in Louisiana is the missing toddler whose parents were arrested last month.

The Jefferson Parish coroner's office has confirmed the body is two-year-old Timothy Thompson IV after a circumstantial identification following the discovery on July 6.

But authorities still don't know how the child died, Nola.com reports.

The toddler was found buried in a shallow grave along the eastern bank under the Huey P Long Bridge in Elmwood.

At the time of the discovery, it was believed he had been dead for two weeks, but his body was so decomposed that a cause of death could not be immediately established.

His parents Onterio Thompson and Gabrielle Whittington were arrested days later after the child's paternal grandmother Laverne Thompson alerted the police that she had not seen the child in weeks.

Both were arrested on charges of unlawful disposal of human remains and the obstruction of justice.

Thompson has now been granted temporary custody of the dead boy's three siblings, who range in age from 11 months to four.

Whittington was released from the Jefferson Parish Correctional Center in Gretna on a $10,000 bond on July 13.

Onterio Thompson was released on a $10,000 bond last week, but he was transferred to the St. Tammany Parish jail.

He is being held there without bond for contempt of court charges, including possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to Nola.com.

Default 'She's my hero': Mother of 14-year-old girl accused of fatally shooting her father in the head praises girl for 'saving the family' from abusive drunk

A 14-year-old girl accused of fatally shooting her own father has been praised by her mother as a 'hero' who saved the family from the clutches of an abusive drunk.

Bresha Meadows, from Ohio, has been charged with aggravated murder after she allegedly shot 41-year-old father Johnathan in the head just before 4am on July 28.

While cops do not know what led up to the shooting, witnesses say Meadows shot her father with his own gun, the same gun he regularly used to threaten the family.
