Residents of St. Pantelimonas: We denounce the mudslinging journalists!

Posted by xaameriki on October 9, 2013

Golden Dawn New York editors note by George:

St. Pantelimonas, known in Greek as Agios Pantelimonas, is a neighborhood in central Athens that was one of the first areas in Greece to be completely overrun with illegal Immigants from Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Africa and other places. This process started in the early to mid 2000′s when I was living close by at the time, many neighborhoods in Athens have platies, or Squares, these are park areas surrounded by shops, where children play and elderly people relax on park benches.

The square of St. Pantelimonas by the mid 2000′s became a no go area for Greeks, the entire surrounded neighborhood became loaded with thousands of illegal immigrants, and the square, with its large Orthodox Church in the center became a type of hub of drug sales, violence, robbery and prostitution.

The Greeks who could not afford to move out, were in a living nightmare, most of these people would ask the police for help, but the government ignored them, the people felt like hostages in their own neighborhood. Just like the reality of No Go neighborhoods in New York where I spent my youth, the Greeks in Greece finally got a taste of a No Go zone and learned the dark side of Multiculturalism.

Around 2007 however, the local people started to fight back, local Golden Dawn members who lived there and the people who lived around the square were fed up, I watched as middle aged women and elderly men began to physically chase the Bangladeshis when they attempted to cross the square, I saw bravery of people who were not even Golden Dawn members or politically active.

During this time, a large scale battle started over the next several years, gangs of Afghanis and Bangladeshis attacked residents, and Golden Dawn men from all over Athens, including myself, would go there to help the people. We stayed in that square 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, Golden Dawners and Local Residents. One time a few comrades and I had put up Greek flags all around the square and that night we caught 2 Greek anarchists trying to burn them with a lighter! Those anarchists never came back after that rest assured, the Greek anarchists would try to attack the local residents alongside the immigrants and this only strengthened the resolve of the local people, and eventually we won.

By 2010, despite the neighborhood still having tons of foreigners, the square became safe again, the children were playing again, the elderly felt safe again, the shop owners around the square had business from the local Greeks again, and Golden Dawn was always there and was always welcomed from that time on. It was a huge turning point and a sign of hope for Greece, and i believe it should be an example for other Europeans that you do not have to just sit back and take the government assault on your homeland.

During the first days of the recent Golden Dawn persecutions, the gangs of anarchists, police and the Afghanis and Pakistanis etc took over the square again and tried to terrorize the people, but the people still fight back.

This below is a translation of a letter from the local residents and business owners of St. Pantelimonas in response to the lying journalists:

The press in recent days has systematically tried to throw tons of mud at the residents of St. Panteleimonas and the region in municipal district 6 with its miserable stories. Once again journalists distort the reality in order to create false impressions and slander our neighborhood once again. We certainly did not expect anything different with the media ostrich tactics, sticking their heads in the sand when people try to talk of what goes on here. We wonder if the reporter who came to our neighborhood even looked at the ground!

We wonder if they noticed the colonization of our neighborhood by populations of Asians, Africans and Gypsies. We wonder if they saw the illegal trading of foreigners in local markets. We wonder if they saw how many Greeks moved out of the area. We wonder if they entered the multifamily flat buildings to count the empty apartments, where a few years ago people lived and have since fled. We wonder if they see on Acharnon street in Aristotle Square and Amerikis Square the mini markets, barber shops and Internet stores of foreigners. Will someone explain to us where all these poor and victimized people found the thousands of euros to buy existing businesses or to build new ones with those television channels you have?

We wonder how many of them asked if they could live in the drug ghettos that have been created in recent years because of the invasion. We wonder if with the same passion the TV channels would show how these foreigners make a living, how they buy food and how they pay the rent, to show where the money comes from. Will the media do away with the misinformation that can only serve to benefit the drug traffickers and show solidarity with groups who have become wealthy from this situation. Will the mass media do this? NO NEVER!

Internet shops are smuggling illegal aliens. No problem despite complaints. These gambling and smuggling dens have been baptized Internet cafes and operate undisturbed for years, despite complaints. Despite the obvious illegality, foreign clients, foreign and domestic owners. 93 of these internet cafes and the vast majority are owned by foreigners in municipal district 6 .. The bureaucrat city council people who accuse us of being bothered just because they are foreigners, god forbid they should open their eyes and see that ONLY foreigners are applying for Internet cafe licenses in our neighborhoods.

The smuggling of migrants in Victoria Square has been taking place regularly for months. Newly arrived immigrants received by traffickers are transferred to dozens of immigrant hotels in the area. These are known to the police for some time. For some reason these apartments may enjoy immunity, no one intervenes despite complaints. Undisturbed immigrants also move around our neighborhoods in an unknown direction driving pickup trucks with Bulgarian license plates, they have flooded the area. Even more undisturbed are the gangs of gypsies who have come in huge hordes lately. Someone inform as to what job all these Gypsies do and how they find the money to pay their rent and expenses.

Completely undisturbed, are Africans selling drugs in Amerikis Square and the Beehive, Victoria Square. Even more undisturbed are the Greek criminals with political connections who rent property for their homes, mosques and churches illegally to foreigners. Among them are many lawyers. The crooked civil engineers and accountants are having a party with our neighborhoods and live at our expense pretending to have Solidarity with these immigrants. They have entered the contracting business for foreigners who strive to open shops, to find apartments to escape legal problems, to illegally arrange the books of these shops All these shops have windows, yet nobody knows anything about this?

Squares, streets, sidewalks are occupied by foreigners legal and illegal, drug dealers and addicts, drunks, prostitutes and carts with junk, abandoned cars or general trash heaps. Illegal African mosques and churches continue to operate undisturbed, despite the prosecutors order to close them. Why is it the consul of Bulgaria visited Afghanistan in the last year several times and the illegal mosque on Kalymnos street? What kind of immunity is enjoyed by this place and other relevant places that has been hidden long ago? Where is Mr. Mouiznieks, Amnesty International and various observatory NGOs?

We announce that we do not intend to go back to the old years when the word alien ghetto illegal immigrant was taboo and whoever talked about it was the plight of the neighborhood and was labeled racist, fascist and a Golden Dawner. We are already seeing the Green policies to restore the (illegal) immigration agenda of 2008-2010 and we are disgusted by it. We do not intend to give political opinion statements so they can ignore us and stick us with labels. Nor will we give interviews like some for our neighbors to distort reality.

We will continue to speak the truth, we demand that our life and property they destroyed be restored. We call on Samaras to remember what he said when he visited our neighborhoods during the election. We call Mr. Athanasios to remember what he saw when he walked in them and consider the people who live here, who spoke. We call Mr. Dendias to remember and what he has experienced in his visits to the Center, and what the people have said. Athens suffers.

As for the media, they suffer from selective deafness and blindness and we warn that if they continue the mudslinging, we will pursue legal action. At some point you will have to answer us, major newspapers and journalists. WHO PROTECTS whom?

Residents and Business owners of Municipal District 6

The left in Greece must rise up against Golden Dawn

The only way to stop the fascists profiting from the breakdown of the Greek state is to offer a socialist alternative to capitalism

Golden Dawn party members. 'It is wishful thinking to expect fascism to be defeated through police action, or by simply praising democracy.'

Greece – and the rise of Golden Dawn – is an extreme parable of what has happened to many developed countries since the global crisis broke out in 2007. The policies of the Greek "rescue" – where the Greek people had no inkling what was afoot until the agreement was signed in 2010, leading to a tremendous spasm of anger – are instantly recognisable, if exceptionally severe. Wages, salaries and pensions have been cut; austerity has been imposed on the public sector; privatisation and liberalisation have been promoted. It did not take long for any hope of a change in approach following the collapse of Lehman Brothers to fade and for the forces of neoliberal economics, powerfully entrenched in ministries, international organisations, thinktanks and universities, to reassert themselves. By the middle of 2009 the familiar mix of favouring private capital, squeezing labour, attacking the welfare state and proclaiming the virtues of the market had prevailed.

The renewed neoliberal ascendancy has bred a sense of popular impotence in developed countries, rendered particularly dangerous by two features of the crisis. First, the root causes of the turmoil manifestly lie with private capital, particularly its financial component. In popular perception across the world, bankers are the main culprit, and rightly so. Second, and even more important, the crisis has not simply hit wage labour, which is the normal way of capitalism. Middle-class living conditions have also been ravaged as salaries and pensions fell, real estate took a hit, health systems suffered and education was disrupted.

This is the background to the rise of the extreme right in Europe, including fascism in Greece. As the economy collapsed and unemployment soared, the living conditions of working and middle class Greeks became unbearable. There are entire streets in Athens where no one holds a regular job, and many families rely on food handouts. Health and education are falling apart, while the state machinery is being dismantled. Helplessness has spread, together with a profound sense of national humiliation and loss of sovereignty in a country treated like a beggar by its EMU "partners". There is despair at the corruption of politicians and the effrontery of the unchanged networks of power. There is also a widespread conviction that democracy is a sham, protecting those who are to blame and masking the rising authoritarianism of the state.

Golden Dawn thrived in these conditions. It spoke against the "rescue" and denounced foreign bankers; it blamed illegal immigrants for the breakdown of law and order and the disruption of normal life; it ridiculed democracy promising to cleanse corruption; it sought to restore national pride by using the symbols of nationalism; it penetrated the security forces, themselves under great pressure from spending cuts.

This is much more than a criminal organisation that terrorises the streets. It is a fascist party that has acquired genuine support by worshipping violence, glorying in primitive racism and reasserting national greatness. These views, of course, offer no way out to a devastated society, and certainly none in the interests of working people. But when the normal conditions of life have been destroyed, when everything looks uncertain and threatening, even the barbarous message of Golden Dawn can find resonance. The extreme right across Europe is perfectly aware of that.

It is wishful thinking to expect fascism to be defeated through police action, or by simply praising democracy. The extreme right will retreat only when the living conditions of the majority are no longer disrupted to serve the interests of private capital; when democracy is not constantly transgressed by an authoritarian state; when the threat to national sovereignty is lifted and national dignity is respected. In short, when the neoliberal ascendancy in Europe and elsewhere is decisively broken. For fascism has fed on the disasters of neoliberalism.

These conditions will not emerge without a mass popular movement in which the left is actively involved. Yet one of the most depressing features of the crisis has been the weakness of the left – organisationally, electorally and, above all, in the realm of ideas. The left has shown no self-belief, no burning desire to change the world. Even in Greece, where leftwing traditions remain very strong, the rise of Syriza has been more by default than through its own merits. As for the rest, including the Communist party, they have distinguished themselves by endless revolutionary verbiage that barely hides their fear of responsibility and power. People are not fooled by mere words.

To confront the extreme right the left needs to demonstrate in practice that the ascendancy of neoliberalism is not inevitable. For that, however, it must offer a realistic anti-capitalist programme that takes steps in the direction of socialism. Such a programme ought to reconsider immigration and its place in contemporary capitalism. It should also avoid treating supranational bodies, such as the EU and the EMU, as inherently progressive, while rethinking the connection between the nation state and democracy. We now know that sovereign power can be a bulwark against anti-democratic transnational pressures. Above all, the left needs to believe in itself, its ideas and its vision to overthrow capitalism. Perhaps the Greek left can beat such a path for the rest of Europe. Time is getting short.

[you'd think some of these people would at some point start questioning the need to run everything through the state in light of its failures across the board, no matter the country, but they never do. how can "private capital" be to blame when it's central government, the state itself, that awards the monopoly money-printing privilege to the central bank? government to leftists is like god to christians - it is never held responsible for anything, and it is seen as the cure for everything. centralized, state-controlled banking is the root problem here. The solution is not socialism left or right, these are just pinheads who want to boss everyone around. The solution is to quit trying to have government doing things it sucks at - which is basically everything except controlling the borders. Government is a defensive association, not some positive force for good.]

Default "Greece Considering Confiscation Of Private Assets"

"Greece Considering Confiscation Of Private Assets
Submitted by Tyler Durden on 10/06/2013 15:50 -0400

The last time we opined on the possibility of a Cyprus-style "bail-in" in Greece, which is essentially a legally-mandated confiscation of private sector assets held hostage by the local financial system, until such time as the balance sheet of said financial system is viable, we were joking. Well, not really joking.

But not even we thought that a banking sector "bail in", in which unsecured bank liabilities, which include bonds and of course deposits, are used as a matched source of extinguishment of non-performing bad debt "assets" could spread to the broader economy, and specifically to unencumbered private sector assets. Alas, this is precisely what Greece, which is desperately to delay the inevitable and announce it needs not only a third but fourth bailout, appears keen on doing.

As Kathimerini reports, the Greek Labor and Social Insurance Ministry is "seriously considering drastic measures in order to obtain the social security contributions owed by enterprises and to avoid having to slash pensions and benefits." What drastic measures? "The ministry is planning to force companies to pay up or face having their assets seized, so that the 14 billion euros of contributions due can be recouped."

After all, it's only "fair."

Kathimerini is kind enough to layout the clear-cut problems with this plan which will further crush any potential rebound in the Greek economy:

While this amount equal to 8 percent of the countrys gross domestic product may be easy to calculate on paper, it is virtually impossible to collect even if the state attempts to confiscate all the real estate properties of debtors and the debts of third parties to them.

The ministry has been forced to consider asset repossessions as a result of the very poor state of social security funds. The fiscal gap expected at the end of the year from social security will at best be equal to 1.06 billion euros. This also constitutes a bad start for next year, too, when the budget will also provide for a reduction in state subsidies to social security funds by 1.8 billion euros. ..."

I see your comment about Greece in the Washington Times, stuck. Lots of readers will see it. Short, concise, to the point, and oh so hard hitting.

I hope so. Just trying to get some of their readers to think a little.

Once you get signed up for a few of these commenting systems like Disqus, you can drop comments a lot of places. I try to do that because I use my real name, and it feeds back into Twitter and Facebook for more if they're interested. The more people do this, the better. The Greek stuff is pretty well hit, the comments are usually dominated by pro-Golden Dawn forces. Of course, not so at Guardian and other leftist papers where they suppress non-leftist comments pretty heavily.

[like a joke, right? this is a weapons cache?]

The Hidden Weapons of Golden Dawn
By Maria Papathanasiou on October 9, 2013 in Crime, News, Politics

After revelations from witnesses that the neo-Nazi party Golden Dawn has hidden weapons in different regions of Greece, police set out to find if the accusations were true and searched places in Haidari, Aspropirgos and Nemea. A former Golden Dawn member claimed that they trained in Haidari, in the old army base, during working hours, although police said they would have been noticed by shoot clubs and hikers. The second witness said that they moved clubs, shields, and flare guns to a warehouse in the region of Aspropyrgos. According to the police the warehouse is likely in the Ammo Soureza area of Aspropyrgos. There were 10 guarded warehouses owned by companies and six smaller dwelling that could be used for storage, they said. According to the third witness there were hidden weapon in a monastery in Ancient Kleones, a region in Corinth. The police have searched two abandoned monasteries but didn’t find anything and said they believed the weapons were moved. The police’s report also said that the Golden Dawn tries to reopen its offices in Nemea. The offices shut down in 2012, after the elections, due to non-payment of rent.

[one of the top kikes portrays his group as the victims when they are the perpetrators and aggerssors - that's a time-honored jewish technique. it works well when the mass media back you up and the target population has been brainwashed in your direction by the public schools]

Ronald S. Lauder on the crack-down on neo-Nazis in Europe

09 October 2013

The following article by the president of the World Jewish Congress was first published by the Jewish World Review.

Two events in Europe last week cheered those of us who are fighting to beat back the growing neo-Nazism there. First, Greek authorities arrested leaders of the extremist Golden Dawn Party, charging them with criminal activities. Then, a top Hungarian official declared that his government would use all available means to crack down on the country's burgeoning anti-Semitism.

These events are heartening, but Europeans could do more to isolate the haters, for example, taking a clear policy toward far-right or neo-Nazi parties - including no coalitions, no common platforms and no pandering to extremist positions. That might sound simple in America, where the far right is a tiny, kooky fringe. But it is less so in countries such as Hungary, Ukraine and Greece, where these parties have real electoral heft.

Ronald S. Lauder

In Hungary, the far-right Jobbik, which regularly stokes fear of Jews and Roma and recently held a rally against the World Jewish Congress assembly in Budapest, is the country's third-largest party, and is growing in strength.

Golden Dawn is smaller - it has 18 members sitting in the 300-member Greek parliament - but polls show it could increase its representation if were elections held today. Its leaders revel in vicious behavior. They have beaten people on live television, made the Hitler salute at press conferences, spewed hate and denied the Holocaust in parliamentary speeches, and instigated violence against immigrants and others they do not consider Greek. It now turns out that police appear to have evidence that the entire party is a criminal gang. Thoroughly mendancious, dishonest and disingenuous article by jew Lauder.

Greece acts against leaders of neo-Nazi party

As president of the World Jewish Congress, I traveled to Greece in March and to Hungary in May to demand that those nations clamp down on extremist parties with strong measures, including legislation that would punish hate speech. Free speech anywhere is a threat to jews everywhere.

In March, Antonis Samaras became the first sitting Greek prime minister in 100 years to visit a synagogue, joining the Jewish community at a commemoration in Thessaloniki on the 70th anniversary of the deportation of 48,000 Jews to the Nazi death camps. He solemnly pledged that he and his government would do be "completely intolerant to violence and racism."

In my speech and my meetings with Samaras, I made it clear that Golden Dawn needed to be curtailed. The World Jewish Congress called on Greece to consider banning the party. Jews trying to dictate the internal politics of a sovereign country. Imagine how they'd react if you traveled to Israel and starting making "demands."

For months, not much happened, and the promised legislation against hate speech stalled. I and many others wondered: Is the Greek government serious?

Everything changed a couple of weeks ago with the brutal murder of 34-year-old musician and anti-Nazi campaigner Pavlos Fissas, allegedly by a Golden Dawn supporter with close connections to the party leadership.

Last week, the Greek authorities acted with force, arresting the Golden Dawn leadership and charging it with forming a criminal organization. The raid discovered weapons and Nazi propaganda at the homes of several Golden Dawn leaders. In New York, the prime minister promised to implement a law against hate speech soon.

No one has yet faced trial, and we must see whether the crackdown will last and whether Golden Dawn will lose its popularity. But the tide may have turned. Greece has shown that violent neo-Nazis are not acceptable, and I thank Prime Minister Samaras and his government for keeping their word. This is the thing the "keep it legal" crowd needs to understand: just as jews will call you nazis whether or not you actually are, so too will they accuse you of violence whether or not you are. A lot of the reason opposition to jews is ineffectuals is Aryans simply won't be honest about what jews actually are and do. It's not like jews change. It's not like it's difficult to understand what they do. It takes some courage to admit it, though. Jews go lower than other groups. That's why they win. Lyign, deception and murder are their first recourse, not their last. They are not like us. They don't think the way we do. If we weren't christians, we could understand that pretty easily.

Hungarian government pledges action against anti-Semitism

Hungary followed with more good news. In May, the World Jewish Congress held its Plenary Assembly in Budapest, with 600 participants from around the Jewish world and 200 journalists in attendance. The meeting raised international awareness about the growing neo-Nazi problem, and the government has responded. Hungary must be run for the interests of jews, not Hungarians, and Jobbik threatens this.

"We cannot allow, especially knowing our own responsibility, anti-Semitism to gain strength in Hungary," Deputy Prime Minister Tibor Navracsics told a conference on European anti-Semitism in Budapest last Tuesday, in what Reuters termed "one of the government's boldest statements yet on the issue." "We will crack down with legal means if necessary," he said. "And, while we can, we will make sure through political means that Hungary remains a republic of good men."

Conference on anti-Semitism in Budapest earlier this month

Navracsics said that 70 years ago, during the Holocaust, the Hungarian state had "turned its back against its own citizens, and indeed took part in their elimination."

"We have learned from the past, we know exactly what happened here, every Hungarian is duty bound to face this responsibility: 70 years ago it was Hungarians who killed Hungarians," he added. Some 600,000 Hungarian Jews were deported and murdered in the Nazi death camps. What about what the jews did to the Hungarians when the communists took power? Kike Lauder isn't interested in your knowing about that. They just want to prevent you from defending yourself against jewish aggression by banning speech critical of jews as well as defensive associations, ie white politics.

Today, Hungary still has a big Jewish community, the largest in Central Europe at around 120,000. Hungarians are rightly concerned about attempts by certain groups to glorify the pro-Hitler government of the war era.

Like in Greece, Hungary's Jews are appalled by what is happening in their country and demand a clampdown on the extremists. Next year, Hungary will hold elections. Until then, there is still time to ensure that the hatemongers of Jobbik will be voted out of parliament. Like in Greece, this requires fortitude and determination. All democrats should act boldly against those who pose a threat to democracy itself.

The World Jewish Congress will continue to press all countries in Europe not to relent in the fight against neo-Nazis. We owe it to those who perished in the Holocaust.

Samaras confirms shabbes goy status re Israel

Greece and Israel reaffirm their ties

The Greek and Israeli prime ministers met on Tuesday, reaffirming their ‘strategic, long-term’ partnership.

World Bulletin / News Desk

Greek Prime Minister Antonis Samaras arrived in Israel to meet with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Tuesday in the first Israeli-Greek government-to-government meeting. During the meeting in which 10 agreements were signed, Netanyahu praised Samaras for his crackdown on the Greek neo-Nazi faction Golden Dawn.

Greece is set to take over the EU’s 6-month rotational presidency on 1 January, the same date that a new EU settlements guideline policy is set to be enforced. The new policy calls on Israel to sign a “territorial clause” before making new agreements with the EU, meaning that the agreement would be inapplicable in east Jerusalem, the Golan Heights and the West Bank. Israel has already expressed its objection to this guideline and has gained the support of Greece, who have vowed to help Israel stand against it.

The two nations also discussed building pipelines between Israel, Cyprus and Greece, which would pump oil from the eastern Mediterranean to Europe. This move may sideline any potential peace talks between Turkey and the EU regarding the Cyprus issue.

Commenting on the history of co-operation between the two countries, Israel’s ambassador to Greece, Aryeh Mekel, said the meeting “constitutes the peak in the new and upgraded relations between Israel and Greece that began some three years ago. As opposed to the past, today there is close cooperation in a number of fields.” Greece and Israel began moving closer together as Turkey and Israel started to move apart in the world of diplomacy.

However, the Israel and Greece were not able to agree on Iran. While Greece would like to give new Iranian president Hassan Rouhani a chance to prove his commitment to peace, Israel is against having good relations with Iran. Greece has been hit hard economically since sanctions on Iran prevented them from buying Iranian oil.

[communist view]

Golden Dawn under attack

Wednesday 9 October 2013, by Andreas Sartzekis

What has got into the Minister of the Police, Dendias? Like Prime Minister Samaras, even after the murder of Pavlos Fyssas on September 18, he continued to talk about the "two extremes", putting the Nazis of Chryssi Avgi (Golden Dawn) and SYRIZA on the same level... This suggests that the vast police operation on the morning of Saturday, September 28, which we did not expect on such a scale, is due to several factors.

Contradictions among the ruling classes

First, the strength of the public reaction after the death of the antifascist rapper Fyssas, whose memory is already a living legend for many young people (U.S. rap groups have also begun to express their hatred of the Golden Dawn killers). Admittedly, the rally on 25 September was a victim of manoeuvres that can on this occasion be called sabotage: the call of the KKE (Greek Communist Party) to a rally elsewhere; the prior condemnation by the leadership of SYRIZA of any demonstration from the rally... Nevertheless, between fifteen and twenty thousand people gathered and the majority party set off on a demonstration to the headquarters of the Nazis. People demonstrated that day throughout Greece. The anti-racist movement saw that day the justification for its long day-by-day battle.

While many European politicians and business leaders followed with interest the use of this armed gang to try to rein in the anti-Troika and therefore anti-capitalist protests, part of the European bourgeoisie considered as unwelcome and even dangerous the growth of a para-state group which might later on make the traditional bourgeois parties regret having played with fire. The fact that Greece is due to take on the next presidency of the EU has apparently led to some pressure on the Samaras government in this regard. Golden Dawn spends 25 out of every 24 hours in a day denouncing the Troika and Memorandum, but the communists will not be moved from their position that Golden Dawn are the tools of the very banksters they despise and denounce daily. It's almost like communists aren't interested in facts.

The same contradictions exist among the Greek employers. Although it has been proved that the "hordes of horror" have been financed by industry and shipowners, and in some cases for a long time, the statement of the leader of the Greek employers after the murder of Fyssas sounded like an order to the government: to put Golden Dawn and SYRIZA on the same level is not only unacceptable but anti-democratic. Apart from the fact that there several months ago there was a meeting a meeting between it and Alexis Tsipras, leader of SYRIZA , it seems that the leadership of the Greek employers refuses at this stage the development of a real mafia acting for itself and only partly for big business. Same old claims, never any evidence. Golden Dawn, like Hitler, is not a function of big business. It is not the creation of capitalists of any flavor, or moneymen of any shade. rather, it's an organic, patriotic response to the takeover of Greece by international jewry.

The reasons for the arrests

So on Saturday we had the pleasure - but also the anger, because it happened after so many well-known crimes – of seeing the Nazi leaders and several cadres of their party arrive at police headquarters, handcuffed and escorted by the anti-terrorist units. At the same time, let us not dream: one of the leaders, a psychopathic thug, was able to use his mobile phone while in custody to send instructions to his henchmen. Nevertheless, the charges on the basis of which the court has ordered the arrests are much more serious than just a publicity stunt by the Greek government to reassure its European colleagues. For three days, Greece has been discovering that this gang of killers is a veritable mafia (protection racket centred on shops, arms trafficking , exploitation of immigrants in various forms of commerce ...), and a real little terrorist organization: the anti-terrorist units are at present looking for the arms caches that this criminal network had begun to organize in the country. And we can see another possible reason for the scale of the operation against the Nazis: the forces of repression had begun to be so infected by Nazi sympathies, with discreet training in military camps, that the government feared it might eventually lose control over the state apparatus! Without overestimating the real strength of this band of assassins - and of course the fact that the mainstream media has suddenly shifted from giving free publicity to Golden Dawn to adopting an almost anti-Nazi position that makes them dramatize the situation excessively - it is obvious that a dynamic was underway, with the complicity of many police officers, that encouraged all the advocates of violence against workers and immigrants to believe that they had a free hand to do as they liked.

And now?

The question that could be posed, three days after the arrest of the leaders of Golden Dawn, is whether the government and the judiciary are determined to go all the way, and whether the killers who have been arrested will be given serious prison sentences. Knowing who Samaras is, with his far-right past, we may doubt it. The other question is whether Golden Dawn has received a mortal blow in terms of its organization. In the last two days, it was good to see that only 150 to 200 morons had responded to the call of the Nazi leadership to mobilize everywhere. The probability of the party being characterized as a criminal group opens the door to a possible ban on it, but for the moment its members of parliament are holding on to their positions and now want to provoke a political crisis ... on the pretext of their so-called fight against the Troika.

Over and above all the revelations, we must not forget the murder of Pavlos Fyssas , the murders or attempted murders perpetrated against many immigrants and left activists, with at least 300 cases of assault waiting to be tried! We’re talking about a criminal group, and all the cases that have up to now been hushed up must finally be tried.

Some of the reactions in popular neighbourhoods contaminated by the racist propaganda of the Nazis and the government make one thing clear: the battle of the workers’ movement against the policies of the Troika is essential in order to organize the autonomous action of the movement, failing which it can fall under the influence of the Nazis. The construction of an anti-fascist movement on a massive scale is more than ever on the agenda; the roots of the evil are obviously the relentless destruction by the Greek and international bourgeoisie of any right to living conditions that are worthy of the name.

But beyond the mobilization of workers in Greece, faced with the rise of the fascist gangsters, fueled by the social policy of the European bourgeoisie - especially German and French - the responsibility of the European proletariat is crucial. Across Europe, the mobilization - the urgent need to coordinate - against the anti-working class plans and against the fascists is on the agenda!

Greece Probes Golden Dawn Finances
By Andy Dabilis on October 9, 2013 in Crime, News, Politics

Golden Dawn MP Ilias Panagiotaros taken into custody

As Greece prosecutes the leaders of the neo-Nazi Golden Dawn party on charges of running a criminal gang, investigators said they want access to financial records and bank accounts of the suspects and are asking the help of the Financial Crimes Squad (SDOE) and an independent anti-money laundering committee. The probers said they need the data from the 32 people arrested so far, including six Members of Parliament so they can get to the bottom of how the party operates. They are also asking for Parliament’s help to give them more time and for the body to lift the immunity of three Golden Dawn MPs – Giorgos Germenis, Panagiotis Iliopoulos and Stathis Boukouras. The three MPs face the same charges as their six peers arrested last week.

The investigation is said to be widening their probe to include the three after former party members testified the MPs played a key role in organizing attacks on immigrants and recruiting new members. Boukouras was said to be storing and trading in weapons and to have had “absolute control” over the party’s activities in Corinth, including attacks on immigrants and protection rackets. Boukouras and Golden Dawn members in Corinth are accused of being involved in a range of crimes, including assaults on leftists and the blackmail of local politicians and businessmen. The newspaper Kathimerini reported that it was told by unidentified sources that at least 10 more former members and supporters have asked to testify as protected witnesses, fearing reprisals and as another said she was threatened with being burned alive if she talked.

Parliament’s ethics committee is on Oct. 9 to examine the judiciary’s request for the immunity of the three MPs to be lifted. It will also examine requests to lift the immunity of MPs Ilias Panagiotaros and Ilias Kasidiaris, two of three GD MPs released pending trial last week, for separate cases of disturbing the peace, and of Chrysovalantis Alexopoulos for operating an illegal radio station in Larissa, central Greece. The MPs are to be summoned by the committee within two days while the House’s plenary session is to convene next week to debate the issue and decide when to vote. A police crackdown on GD continued on Oct. 8 with the arrest of Yiannis Kazatzoglou, 34, who was allegedly a passenger in the vehicle driven by Giorgos Roupakias on the night of the murder of leftist rapper Pavlos Fyssas last month. Roupakias, who has been charged with Fyssas’s murder though claims to have stabbed the rapper in self-defense, is to defend himself before an investigating magistrate on Oct. 8.

Prosecutors are probing why the New Democracy and PASOK Socialist parties who are partners in a coalition government haven’t paid 250 million euros ($339.4 million) in loans. Financial prosecutor Grigoris Peponis said he would only invite the party officials, NOT COMPEL THEM, -(surprise surprise)- to explain why they were able to so easily get loans when banks have shut off credit to almost everyone else.

New Democracy reportedly owes some 105 million euros ($142.5 million) to the state-operated ATEbank, which had to be taken by Piraeus over because of bad loans, and 15 million euros ($20.3 million) to Piraeus Bank. PASOK reportedly has borrowed 97 million euros from ATEbank,($131.72 million) along with 22 million euros ($29.8 million) from Attica Bank, 10 million euros ($13.5 million) from Marfin and 5 million euros ($6.79 million) from Piraeus.

Greece's anti-fascist struggle

Kevin Ovenden, a national officer of Unite Against Fascism in Britain, analyzes the challenges facing the left in Greece as it confronts the menace of fascism.

October 8, 2013

THE STRUGGLE against the most pernicious and entrenched neo-Nazi force in Europe is at a critical moment.

At stake in the dramatic arrests of Nikolaos Michaloliakos and other leaders of the Golden Dawn (GD) in Greece is not only the immediate future of a Nazi party that has 18 members of parliament, with 7 percent of the vote in the last general election and a considerable street-fighting arm, but also the course of the social and political resistance in the European country hit hardest by crisis.

At issue, too, is the wider struggle in Europe against fascism, racism and xenophobia--as the rise of Golden Dawn has acted as an exemplar and lodestone for radicalizing far-right forces across the continent.

The sudden turn by the state and government of Antonis Samaras against GD is testament to sustained anti-fascist campaigning in Greece and to the eruption of popular fury at the fascist murder of much-loved, anti-racist hip-hop artist Pavlos Fyssas. Within hours of Pavlos' murder, tens of thousands of people took to the streets of dozens of cities across Greece, targeting GD, one of whose cadres wielded the knife that felled him.

It was fear of a repeat of the uprising of December 2008--resulting from the police murder of 15-year-old school student Alexandros Grigoropoulos--intersecting with a rising strike wave and the growth of the radical left that led the government to act.

It certainly was not some inherent hostility towards the fascists on the part of Samaras and his New Democracy party. At least three leading figures of the center-right had entertained a possible coalition with the fascists (if they "moderated" slightly), as the ruling coalition dwindled to just the center-right and the zombie social democratic party PASOK.

Anti-fascist lawyers Evgenia Kouniaki, Takis Zwtos and Thanasis Kampagiannis outline the tip of a mountain of evidence linking GD to criminal activity and murder over the last few years, including to the killing of Pakistani worker Shehzad Luqman in January this year: one of his killers had piles of GD leaflets and a portrait of Michaloliakos in his flat. There were no raids of GD offices or of police stations implicated with the Nazis eight months ago.

Costas Douzinas, Hara Kouki and Antonis Vradis here sketch some of the extensive links between the fascists, the center-right and elements of the state. Late last month brought revelations of paramilitary fascist training conducted by reserve elements of Greece's special forces and the collusion of a leading figure of the secret service, EYP, in obstructing investigations into GD crimes.

Additionally, this is a government that has implemented the savage austerity memorandums while deliberately stoking racism, rounding up refugees and migrants, all as it increased state repression against the social movements. As this statement puts it succinctly, "It is the government that closed schools and hospitals, and opened concentration camps."

It is also a government which--faced with the rise of the radical left, and with the main left opposition party SYRIZA the potential victor of the next general election--has sought to vilify the whole left, and by implication legitimize the fascist right, by describing both as "twin extremes," which are an equal threat to democracy.

Samaras revived that smear only this week on a visit to the U.S., comparing those in favor of an exit from the Eurozone and the European Union with GD thugs. That and the fact that the courts decided to release on bail several leading Nazi thugs--including Ilias Kasidiaris, who went into hiding after attacking two female left-wing MPs on television last year--should be warning enough that the moves by the government and state against GD will not, of their own accord, destroy the Nazis. Still less will they tear out the links between GD, the center-right, elements of the state and figures in the capitalist class.

Indeed, if the anti-fascist struggle is left at the institutional and "constitutional" level, there is a great danger that the Nazis can weather the storm and re-emerge as the anti-establishment pole in a society where there is an endemic crisis for the governmental parties.

The anti-fascist movement in Greece is contending with some key political lessons in order to avoid that and instead to turn this great upsurge into a movement that can liquidate the fascists as a political/physical force, and in so doing undermine the government and policies that have incubated GD's growth. These are lessons that have great salience elsewhere in Europe.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
1. Fascism is a distinct threat, necessitating a broad yet militant response.

The Greek anti-fascist and anti-racist coalition KEERFA was formed before GD entered the parliament last year and grew sharply. It argued that while, of course, the Nazis grew out of conditions and policies imposed by the governing establishment--austerity, institutional racism, the vilification of the left using imagery from the civil war of the 1940s and so on--opposing fascism requires a specific political response rather than focusing on challenging its causes instead.

The fascist right is not merely a resultant of political and social crisis. It is an actor in its own right, with force and direction. Few leftists acknowledge this, though it is true and obvious. If allowed physical and political space to grow, the result is both its rapid establishment of street terror (under conditions of generalized crisis), and with it, the radicalization of the state machine and the politics of the right as a whole. Restoring order to, say, public parks taken over by illegal aliens becomes "street terror" in the lying mouths of the leftists who admitted the illegals in the first place and always -- always -- side with them over and against the natives.

The anti-fascist movement in Greece has argued consistently for closing down that space. It has meant popular mobilizations and the militant argument that the fascists are not a legitimate political force, but a violent gang, which should be treated as such in all arenas. On the basis of that argument, it has sought to build the widest possible fighting unity across the left, trade union movement and immigrant communities.

2. Anti-fascism requires anti-racism.

After GD broke through, many European media outlets honed in on fascist stunts, such as providing food distribution or blood banks for "Greeks only." But GD's growth was not the result of it being able to replace in any serious way state functions. Central to it was deepening institutional and popular racism. GD could say that while the politicians talked of being "overrun by immigrants," it was fascist cadres who were prepared to drive immigrants out of neighborhoods and to take direct action.

So strategies that said that it was possible to deal with GD mainly by competing from the Lleft to provide social services missed the point. Challenging GD's racism, concentrated into violent attacks on immigrants and then on the left, was central. That meant putting the mobilization and leading role of the immigrant communities who were directly under attack at the center of resistance.

In so doing, migrant communities were represented as a part of the wider social resistance--part of "us," not "them." At the same time, such united mobilizations provided a visible and material basis for a fundamental anti-racist argument directed against the government and state.

While the fascists can attract some layers who are just disillusioned with establishment politics and the impact of austerity, their core support is from those who accept large numbers of racist myths. Opposing austerity without explicitly drawing anti-racist and anti-xenophobic conclusions--which usually do not "spontaneously" arise--will not destroy the fascist base.

3. Fascism grows with the state, not against it...

It was shocking, but not a surprise, to read reports that possibly half the Athens police force voted for GD in the second general election last year.

For all the pseudo-anti-capitalist and radical rhetoric, fascist formations have only ever seized power with the support of a dominant section of the capitalist class and their state. That was true of Mussolini, Hitler and the classical fascist parties.

The growth of fascism represents an extension and radicalization of the state. The actual formation of a fascist regime comes after large elements of the state machine and ruling apparatus have already gone over to fascism as a final instrument when "normal" methods of police repression and right-wing, parliamentary politics have failed.

4. ...But it matters enormously what the state does.

That does not mean that we should be indifferent to what the state does or that the struggle against fascism is some kind of diversion from the battle against the governments of austerity and the repressive states they deploy.

To respond to the collusion between the police or government and the fascists by saying that the state and the fascists are as one is in effect to accept that the fascists are already on the road to power, or that the state is so powerful it can militarize its response to the social movements at will. The seeming radicalism of that position reveals a fatalist despair.

It's not that the establishment and the repressive forces of the state are not capable of terror. They are. It's that the extent to which they feel able to deploy repression depends upon the balance of forces in the society. A key part of that balance is the extent to which fascist gangs are able to entrench inside neighborhoods and in the social space.

The left and working-class movements have every interest in exposing collusion between the state and the fascists, rooting out fascist ties to the state and forcing the state to act against the fascists--not because the state is a reliable barrier to fascism, but because if it is forced to act, the space to delegitimize the fascists grows, and the door to weakening the repressive state itself widens.

5. The fascists are unconstitutional, but they will not be stopped through a "constitutional consensus."

Faced with the enormous backlash at the murder of Pavlos Fyssas, the government temporarily dropped the language of the "twin extremes" of right and left, and called on all the political parties to form with it a "constitutional arc," rejecting the fascists.

Its aim is to usurp the very anti-fascist movement it has attacked. And what is meant by "the law" and "the constitution" is contested. Successive Greek governments have ruled "unconstitutionally" over the last two years, with the appointment of an unelected prime minister--banker Lucas Papademos--and now the increasing use of executive diktat rather than parliamentary norms.

The article of the criminal code--number 187--under which GD leaders face prosecution as a criminal enterprise has indeed been used against the left. This is not a "constitutional" axis that the left can be part of, especially as the prosecuting authorities wish to limit investigations so as to leave untouched the establishment while, for example, the district attorney of Athens has laid charges against a key leader of the anti-fascist movement, Petros Constantinou, a councilor in Athens.

None of this means that the left should somehow champion the "constitutional rights" of the fascists, directly or implicitly. Rather it means precisely cutting through establishment maneuvers in order both to liquidate the fascists and undermine the government from the Left.

The "constitution" that is of value for the left is the freedom and space that have been won for the workers and social movements, whether reflected in attenuated form in the official laws of the state or accepted as a political fact or convention on account of accumulated struggles. That is what is threatened by fascism, and it is that popular "constitution" that masses of people can be won to defend.

6. The mass movement must go beyond establishment limits.

The mass movement has political effect. It is why the Greek government has been forced to take what action against the fascists it has.

To fail to engage with the political reality the movement itself creates, to disavow its effects, is both to undermine its confidence in its own capacity and to surrender the political initiative to others.

The demands and next steps of the anti-fascist movement in Greece are directed at widening the breach it has already created. Alexis Tsipras, the leader of SYRIZA, last week said that he was "not for placing GD outside the law [i.e. banned as a party], but brought before the law." This week, he said he "trusted the Greek judicial authorities."

Today, the judge hearing the remand cases of various GD leaders "accidentally" gave the fascists' lawyers the name and details of the former GD member-turned-whistleblower, who has provided testimony against them.

So holding the criminals of GD to account cannot be left to the authorities, which have collaborated with them. It requires systematically arguing for the gang to be dismantled at every level, and for the trail of investigation into its violence and criminality to be pursued wherever it leads.

It means forcing the government to cut off the state funds that go to GD. If GD is a criminal gang, then its offices in neighborhoods are centers of organizing terror. They should be closed down, by any means necessary.

In other words, the official moves against GD will only have purchase if they continue to respond to an independent, militant movement that goes beyond official confines and is prepared to act.

That's why it was absolutely right at the huge anti-fascist rally outside the Greek parliament last week that the anti-fascist movement broke with the constitutional and legalistic consensus, and set out to march on the GD headquarters.

The move was not ritualistic or taken by a small ultra-radical minority. It was the political assertion of the centrality of a mass movement, by that mass movement, in driving the struggle against fascism and racism. This guy advocates overt physical terrorism against Golden Dawn, and it's no empty threat, either, as Golden Dawn offices have been bombed repeatedly in recent months, a fact that always gets lost in controlled media reports.

That movement, which held an important conference in Athens in early October, is now in a position to push forward the dismantling of GD and also--in combination with ongoing mass strikes and social struggles--to raise the pressure on the government to go.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

THESE ARE some of the general lessons, put rather telegraphically, from the last weeks of struggle in Greece.

The biggest lesson, however, is that politics, strategy and tactics are not deducible from abstract schemes. Radicalism does not come from rhetoric or finding ultra-militant postures or points of distinction. They all come from concrete engagement in building a mass movement and, with it, fighting for a politics that seeks to cut through, rather than evade, the responses of the state and establishment.

[from Golden Dawn's party website]

In the line of New Dictatorship Samaras John Michelakis
Thursday, October 10, 2013 - 00:36

TV station supported as anyone else's devastating and ethnoktones governments Geoffrey Papandreou and Simitis, the "big" channel supported like no other affiliation of Greece in the support mechanism of the IMF and the troika, the television station applauded the statements Papandreou the "corrupt Greek People" chose Interior Minister Yiannis Michelakis, to launch the "democratic" of bile in the Golden Dawn.

With excess hypocrisy (seems Antonis Samaras transmits and ministers charisma, false), the main Michelakis said with pompous style on the political persecution of the People's Association-Golden Dawn: "I think that the Golden Dawn should be within the law. And must be within the law to face the law. And outlaw I believe will put the people." Additionally, it was reported to the government grant received by the Golden Dawn as a party of Greek Parliament: "Can not parties that are under judicial discretion, whether or not a criminal organization, to receive funding from the state coffers, to put it bluntly. That is, when they are under judicial crisis, the funding will be suspended until the decision becomes final. If acquitted, while you get the money without interest of course, but if not vindicated and ordered the money will remain in state coffers." Trying to cut off Golden Dawn's money before it's convicted of any wrongdoing. Guilty until declared innocent, in other words.

The "Prominent" journalists "major" channel, they did not come naturally to the trouble to ask the minister, why not go the government to call elections to decide the "sovereignty" Greek people if you're inside or outside the law the Golden Dawn. Nobody briefed represents the ignorant, minister, that the indictment against the Golden Dawn based on a forged 'Statute' ( the only statutes of the Movement, let's get into the trouble to consult the lady Goutzamanis, which received and signed ) and false witness testimonies who denounce stories that could embellish the tales of Andersen or scripts cholygountianon thriller. Despite the 'shocking' perjury, has not been found any evidence of what they are well paid gentlemen remonstrated Golden Dawn, however the instrouchtores information and chacholoi insist entertain with funny stories about thousands of weapons stored and lambs supposedly slaughtered for training future killers.

On the other hand, of course, no one asked Mr. Michelaki why not ensure Justice for complaints against other parties. Denies Mr. Michelakis guilt strains of ND (and therefore the leadership of ND) for killing Temponera? Denies bribing executives from SW to Siemens, a case which has become final in a German court to sentence company executives for bribing officials of ND and PASOK? refuses scandals yperkostologisis works for the 2004 Olympics, structured bonds, Vatopedi ? Denies megalostelechon condemnation of the Southwest, and Papageorgopoulos Psomiadi, so the logic of the "democrats" should be equally blamed the party leadership?

Crime is not sir Michelaki denunciation of each filled false witness, of which is not apparent from the research of principles nothing. Crime but the plunder of public funds, salaries and pensions of the Greeks and the sellout of Greek land and property to strangers. And these crimes are not committed physical Golden Dawn but parties kleptocracy today accuse the Golden Dawn, they can not certify some sad and paid false witnesses, but millions of Greeks who are hungry and miserable, while that rogue politicians ND and PASOK and journalistic their minions continue to eat with golden spoons.

The coalition, the "two extremes" and slander against the Golden Dawn
Wednesday, October 9, 2013 - 23:37

When two months ago the Dendias closed two illegal occupations ("Villa Amalia" and "occupation Scaramanga") certain naive thought they finally started to apply the rule of law. In fact, enforcement against illegal paramilitary occupations was instantaneous and fragmented. Closure of two squatting for communicative purposes rather than substance, since all the others remained untouched and undisturbed. Both specific occupations 'sacrificed' in front in the overall plan to combat "two extremes" according to the terminology of political mnimoniakis coalition in perspective, ie , direct repressive terrorism against the GOLDEN DAWN.

After Dendias threw a smokescreen with partial harassment to the "left", but leaving essentially untouched pockets of the red terror, paved the way for an outright attack on the "right." For a long time the status of agents of international usurers preparing the ground for the political persecution of the GOLDEN DAWN concealed beneath a perforated criminal mantle. Before the tragic incident of Amfialis the thugs 10years 80s Makis Voridis, who brandish axes, attacking leftist students at the Law and gave interview in April 1986 in the Journal of HOUSING ("Hellenic Cosmos") with the provocative title " Violence violence Marxists "had betrayed the intentions of the coalition government to criminalize legitimate political struggle GOLDEN DAWN. For a few days we know very well that the intention of the coalition has become a sad and disgusting reality. Violating any notion of legal science made illegal arrests and detentions, which Prominent jurists and constitutionalists have expressed their disagreements and complained openly.

It is obvious, however, that domestic submissive foreign decision-makers are now completely unscrupulous, not holding the slightest pretext and having no qualms whatsoever. Want to exterminate, in the literal sense, the only political movement that actively denies the sovereignty and the sellout of the country, which attempt. Struggle to overcome every obstacle in trying to do to validate the transfer of sovereignty, the selling off of public property, "kinezopoiisi" of the Greek People. Realizing this unethical and illegal attack on GOLDEN DAWN give simultaneously a message that will hesitate nowhere. After reaching a point obscene trample every sense of honesty and seriousness with unacceptable their war against a legitimate political party with over 1,000,000 sympathizers, it is obvious that the same will try in the near future against anybody dared to challenge the supremacy and the "right" to act as docile instruments of foreign decision-makers.

The "useful idiots" of the left, who are now cheering for the "elimination of the GOLDEN DAWN" and rushing to join in without protest falsified 'constitutional bows "with formulas championing the Memorandum sold out the town, let us know that they will be next in line. understood that from milksop like Tsipras has no fear the system. Some "unruly", however, will react to filomnimoniaki direction that will get SYRIZA and will attempt to move against the attempted new coalition with the Southwest will see "suddenly" come out of the shadows the case of Marfin, terrorism, such and "attempting to overthrow the democratic regime" on the part of SYRIZA, the Communist Party or any other possibly could deny practical and not theoretical mnimoniaki occupying coalition. mnimoniaki The coalition has lost not only the slightest trace of stuffiness and national acts as a conscious partner of international usurers, but has left most left far behind on ethnomidenismou and multiculturalism. The only thing they care about is how to serve the foreign agent and how to ensure their own narrow interests preservatives, always to the detriment of the country and people.

Testimony from a fifth onetime member of Golden Dawn provides insights into how neonazi party recruited, trained, indoctrinated and disciplined its members

Golden Dawn's object is the "overthrow of the democratic system" and it intended to do this by "entering parliament with tanks", a former member of the party has claimed in sworn testimony against the neonazi party.

The Italians Nationalists support political prisoners Golden Dawn
Wednesday, October 9, 2013 - 19:38

A few days ago Italian nationalist Forza Nuova (New Force) protested outside the Greek consulate in Genoa and other consulates in neighboring country and expressed their support for the persecuted Greeks Nationalists and the unjust imprisonment of the Head and members of the Golden Dawn. On posters toichokollithikan in many Italian cities and which dominates the meander, showing the following: "The revolution does not stop - Against Evrodiktatoria even one step back-the Forza Nuova supports the Golden Dawn."

The Italian fighters sharing leaflets, which, inter alia: "The Forza Nuova does not forget the Greek brothers, especially when they are under attack by the enemies of freedom and participation, who want to suppress by force the advance of the nationalist and anti-systemic forces. "

The general secretary of Forza Nuova, Roberto Fiore, made the following statement on the illegal arrest of the head, deputies and members of the Golden Dawn: "The Forza Nuova strongly condemns the arrest of Nikos Michaloliakos, leader of the Golden Dawn and nationalist MPs. When a representative of a political 'anti-power, present in Greek parliament with several deputies, which is continuously rising in the polls, apprehended, not because he has committed a felony or any other offense, but his ideas, this is a shame for the people of Europe. The only fault of the Golden Dawn is that it represents a "new power", pure and chaste, which consists of thousands of Greeks. A movement against those who seek to make Greece a colony of the international financial system. The Forza Nuova expresses its deep sympathy to our brothers of the Golden Dawn and its members are ready to protest in front of the Greek Embassy and the Greek consulates in Italy, to demand the freedom of the Greek Nationalists."

Mention features some of the hundreds of messages of support from the Italian Nationalists, who inundate the web:

"The Greek state" beheading "the only revolutionary antisystemic movement."

"Beat mercilessly those who bother them and oppose the destruction of their country"

"To s name arched life, ergonomics But death - Heraclitus" (the quotation in Greek)

"The European dictatorship throws the mask"

"When the system - which is not as democratic as bragging - fails through the experiences of media indoctrination, it is ready to implement plan B, ie repression and physical annihilation of political opponents'

"... The criminals, who led Greece to unemployment reaches 30%, and 60% among young people in government. Those who oppose the destruction, ie those that once the media will be denoted as "dissidents" and now call them "neo-Nazi" imprisoned by legal tricks that we, in Italy, we all know very well. The invention of "criminal organization", whereby if a member of the Association commits a crime, that crime affects all other members and sympathizers, is a legal monstrosity that the system uses to neutralize his opponents. Not surprisingly, the use of the useful idiots of the far left, who still can not figure out who the real enemy ... ".

EXCLUSIVE - spotless all the accounts of the members of the Golden Dawn
Wednesday, October 9, 2013 - 19:18

Ordered prosecutor opened and tested during the past few days all the bank accounts of members of the Golden Dawn.'s Investigation revealed no incriminating evidence. Everything was spotless as we stated at the outset. The channels of the relationship did not say word and let it float on dark misery financing. Recycle the same antics on slush funds, concealed weapons and tanks to enter the parliament.

The Greek people in a body laughs with them and understand that this is a rigged political persecution on the order of foreign power centers. No evidence exists against the leadership of the Movement and when this big bubble burst, will attribute criminal liability to those who violated his oath and duty. Every hour that passes, revealed the misery of xenodoulis Government Memorandum and officials of usurers.

Paul Sarakis: "Legal unfounded and unsubstantiated accusations against the Golden Dawn"
Wednesday, October 9, 2013 - 18:30

Under democracy and independent judiciary is absolutely certain that will be released!

Paul Sarakis, is a criminal lawyer who undertaking the defense of Kasidiari - Panayiotaros Antonis Samaras, the strain deleted from the Southwest. "The lawyer is a public officer and must serve justice, not partisan interests," says advocate defender of the accused deputies of the Golden Dawn and stresses: "It was impossible to deny my mission as a lawyer and to obey because of political expediency." Paul Sarakis in an exclusive interview partner "E.O" Maki Vrachiolidi with legal reason withdraw the order of 187 CC of criminal organization, expressing confidence that the categories will be forfeited to the court as legally unfounded and unsubstantiated.

- Mr blight, were strain SW. and indeed, as it was called Samaras your destined for the Municipality of Glyfada in the next local elections. Deleted because suddenly you are taking on the defense of Elias and Elias Kasidiari Panayiotaros. How do you judge the decision of the party?

- Each lawyer is obliged to perform his duties without prejudices and obsessions. The lawyer is a public officer and must serve justice, not partisan interests. Also the accused, central face a criminal trial has the inalienable right of defense and counsel of his choice. Personally, I am ordained in the professional task and I'm not a professional politician. It was impossible and unthinkable to deny the call of the defense of members. I refuse to send my lawyer and to obey because of political expediency. Diegrafin unjustly and wantonly by the New Republic. But I think that with my attitude won the hearts of the members of the faction. This is shown by the thousands of messages of support I have received from all over Greece.

- The way in which the government acted, which bypassed parliament elected deputies and arrested on charges of criminal association, consider a constitutional aberration?

- A well-governed state defines operating rules of the constitution and the limits of the various institutions of power. Is sacrosanct for us all. Swear allegiance to the Constitution. Breaking them would divert and then legitimize all defend it, fighting against the trespassers. In this case, almost all the eminent jurists and constitutional experts talking about process or outside the limits of constitutionality. So what now for the new charges follow the constitutional process. A so, otherwise the other. And here appears the deficit of having Constitutional Court in our country, although given the opportunity each judge n 'assess the legality of the process. Then, the class itself is legally inconsistent. The legislature in Article 187 Penal Code speaks of criminal organization and seeks to dismantle the organization that operates under cost, with anonymous users, unknown hierarchy but with this unlawful action, whereas here we have legitimate political entity, with known members elected even in parliament, with parliamentary or non-action in the light of publicity. Application of provision of 187 CC in my opinion is unfair and a legal trick.

- Do you think the government is sliding into dangerous paths after this action?

- I think the government moved incorrectly both in legal and political. Another thing the prosecution and punishment of perpetrators of crimes and other collectively the prosecution and punishment of a political entity. The "pogrom" is practical totalitarian regimes and in no way represent polity Republic. Someone can be categorically opposed to the ideology of a party or another entity, but he is not entitled to seek its criminal conviction as a whole as a mafia organization. Only the people's vote has the right to political verdict. As regards crime members or supporters of responsibilities assigned to them and not the whole. In our law there is a principle of personal responsibility as opposed to abstract collective. And speak on the occasion of the case as a whole and in general. Because today is the Golden Dawn and antipathountes this, not a little, silent, but tomorrow will come the turn of others. "Do you see the tree and miss the forest." The defense of illegality is not partisan identity, is everyone. Required sobriety, composure and objectivity could see the danger of acts of power. Yesterday was the leftist terrorists, after the anti-authoritarians, now Chrysafgites. Tomorrow who?

- Afraid that that the law setting up a criminal organization can turn in a similar manner to the detriment of other parties?

- I'm clear. I struggle as an advocate today not to extend the arbitrariness of power and vested interests that seek to preserve or impose interests against the will of the people. I am a lawyer, an active citizen, and I want to think that I "open" mind so n 'understand the "power games". When the role of good and evil are fixed by the power system, I am reflexively skeptical and investigate. Not complacent because tomorrow I might be if I were evil.

- Some attack the argument that the unprecedented by European standards decision to arrest elected parliamentarians, dictated from abroad. Believe?

- I hear the sober former DPS President and Minister of Justice, Mr Anthony Roupakiotis naming those making these centers abroad. More will know. Knowing the DNA of politicians here think that these approaches have external guidance.

- The charges against your client, and as you know, against all the members of the Golden Dawn, can stand? Give us your legal thought.

- I have confidence in the Greek Justice, despite all the pathologies it has. I understand the extra-institutional pressures, because Justice is blind but certainly not dumb. But I know that within Justice are judges with legal knowledge, with vigor, are lovers of law and not succumb to expediency and not intimidated miseries. There is of course one weak minority fearful and arriviston. Categories are legally baseless and unsubstantiated. And certainly the dikografiki reality has nothing to do with what is heard or read the world by the media. They talk about 100 different things while an accused will simply and succinctly put it: it is not party but a criminal organization. Republic under and independent judiciary is absolutely certain that will be released. It will however preceded the political annihilation. Because if you continue to like them the world the next class will be charged that Nikos Michaloliakos is a reincarnation of Adolf Hitler apergazetai the Third World War! (Laughter. ..)

The root causes of conspiracy: an older and energy relations between Greece and Israel
Wednesday, October 9, 2013 - 21:31

On August 7, 2013 we published an article-analysis of the positions of the Golden Dawn for the exploitation of Greek energy wealth and our negative attitude towards the prospect of Israeli involvement in this momentous national issue. A few days later we responded officially the Jewish lobby in the words of the President of the American-Jewish committee David Harris. The visit Samara in Israel and the statement of the former Justice Minister, Antonis Roupakiotis leave no doubt. conspiracy against The Golden Dawn derived from foreign power centers and services that are shaking the rapid rise of the Nationalist Movement, because it is the only political force that can block their vicious interests. Here are two relevant articles that reveal the root causes of illegal persecution against the Nationalist Movement

Make us energy protectorate amerikanosioniston - The national strategy of the Golden Dawn

The visit Samara in the U.S. coincided with the signing of a Memorandum Israel-Cyprus-Greece for energy. Behind the celebrations and regime propaganda lies a great truth. That Greece becomes a de facto protectorate of the energy amerikanosioniston. This followed the sale of the National Transmission System Natural Gas in Azeri Socar. The U.S., with excellent backstage politics, managed to fly out of the game Russia. Regarding the sellout of Greek energy, had rightly written by eminent economist Galbraith: "A gas monopoly is a machine that cuts money with steady profits and turnover. So anyone resigns from a stable source of revenue, to collect some money today?". Eventually we end the current situation, the right to exploit its enormous energy reserves of our country to acquire foreign managers. The theory of joint axis Athens-Tel Aviv against Ankara is completely obsolete. This is a huge story, who do not believe nor neodimokrates who propagate.

Turks and Jews are de facto allies and partners, and the truth is not going to change. The supposedly common defense policy between Greece and Israel is a betrayal of our national interests, particularly at the level of joint drills in which Jews deconstruct all the secrets of our national defense. The role of tutor developments have seemingly USA. How well the game is rigged seen from the following fact: One day before the signing of the agreement between Greece-Cyprus-Israel in Nicosia, visited the island, the U.S. Undersecretary of State. This gentleman, with clean ... "Saxon" name Amos Chokstain (!) Is the envoy of the Obama for dealing with any aspect of this major issue, just hours before a private meeting with Samaras. The main aim of this meeting in Washington to block permanently the Greek energy Americans. Coalition of The Memorandum gives everything even before completing the investigation for our energy fields. This policy is criminal against the national interest. The Golden Dawn has specific positions and strategy, which will be applied when the country has acquired a truly national leadership.

THE DOCTRINE OF THE GOLDEN DAWN: The philosophy of the Golden Dawn's foreign policy is based on the doctrine of strategic depth. The Greece has enormous strategic depth, which can ensure the inexhaustible power and international influence. The strategic depth of Greece is the Aegean area and marine extension of reaching the island of Cyprus. The geopolitical value of this area and yet untapped sources of wealth enclosing can not simply solve contemporary economic problems of our state, but also to earn him a prominent place in the international economic and strategic chessboard.

SINGLE DEFENSIVE SPACE: Application of the Doctrine of Joint Defence Space Greece - Cyprus, which combined with the tangents EEZ between the two states would amount to de facto unite the island with Greece. Now that gas Cypriot EEZ is the focus of international interest, should the Greece - and not Israel - be the guarantor for the integrity of Cyprus. The Greek F-16 and not the Hebrew f-15 to park at the airport of Paphos. Besides natural gas reserves of the basin of Herodotus as a natural continuation of the Cyprus deposits, posing as an immediate need to create Greek Cypriot energy pipeline destined for the European market.

OIL-GAS: According to Deutsche Bank are certainly being rich natural gas deposits south of Crete, worth 427 billion euros in the timeframes these revenues will come in 8 years. These estimates involve only the area south of Crete and no confirmed natural gas reserves in Western Greece, nor the oil fields in the northern Aegean, whose operations began in 1973 (lode ago). When we say on these deposits years ago we called ... "fascist junta." Now that the status of the MoU is ready to sell everything usurers lenders discovered the Greek energy.

The answer of the Golden Dawn in this attempted transfer of our national wealth is vertical:

- Immediate nationalization of all our energy exploration and recovery of profits from their farms to the Greek people, aiming to make Greece a strategic energy hub.

- International invitation to tender for the award of the huge project of exploration and extraction of oil and gas surrounding the Greek zone economic exploitation.

- Quote defense agreement and launching military cooperation with those states with which it is possible to have a convergence of geopolitical interests, rather naturally and deliberately rivalry and whose ventures will outbid the competition for the exploration and exploitation of our energy fields.

These steps offer in our country saving potential large profits from oil and natural gas across the length and breadth of the Aegean Sea, and from the auriferous triangle Crete

- Cyprus - Dodecanese. Essentially transform Greece into central force in the sensitive geopolitical Eastern Mediterranean.

On Monday, August 26 came the official reply of the Jewish lobby in the U.S., which is reproduced below in our article:

Answered officially amerikanosionistes in our article on the Greek energy policy

Shaking the rise of Nationalist Movement Zionist lobbies USA - Afraid transformation of Greece into central force in the Eastern Mediterranean

The president of the most powerful Jewish American organization (American Jewish Committee) and mighty agent of Zionism in the U.S., David Harris, responded officially to the literature of the Golden Dawn. The positions of the People's Association for the energy and geopolitical developments in the Eastern Mediterranean has dealt very seriously the Zionist lobby. This time hissed our article: "We do energy protectorate amerikanosioniston - The national strategy of the Golden Dawn."

The Jews understood that the Golden Dawn is the biggest danger for their vicious plans. They know that a strong nationalist Greece will cease to be a U.S. protectorate and the criminal Zionist state and will be a central force in the Eastern Mediterranean. The response of Jewish Harris is very low and no substantive content. Does not touch any of our positions on energy issues and geopolitics. The controversial text we see repeated for the thousandth time excommunications on neo-Nazism and 3rd Reich. It is no coincidence that all factors Sold out Helladic system treated exactly the same expressions with their bosses.

We read about in today's "Nation": "David Harris has sent many warnings about the impact caused by the rise of the Golden Dawn. Probably not causes, then, surprising that the head of the American Jewish Committee chose to respond personally to what unhistorical said in his text and Member of the Golden Dawn Elias Kasidiaris on conversion of Greece "energy protectorate American Zionists." even argued that cooperation between Greece and Israel constitutes "treason" and that "Turks and Jews are de facto allies and partners against Greece '... Feeling Hope: The D. Harris says that beyond absurdity of these claims is a tragic event, the presence of a party such as the Golden Dawn in parliament of a country that lost 10% of its population in the struggle against the Third Reich. But the most interesting thing is that the head of the American Jewish Committee believes that the Golden Dawn "feeds" from the economic crisis and for this reason urges Europe, the United States and international financial institutions to support efforts to restore a sense of hope, possibility and development of the future of Greece ... The intervention had many readers: Please note that the response of David Harris wrote to what the MP of the Golden Dawn Elias Kasidiaris on conversion of Greece "energy protectorate Americans Zionists, "published on the website of American Jewish Committee, which read every day thousands of visitors, many of whom have a dominant role in the global financial system. Consequently, the intervention of the head of Jewish American organization is even more important ..."

Search the full text of Thanks to the website American Jewish Committee and saw that indeed none of our arguments not refuted. Instead met only insults and threats to Greece. The essence of the case is one: the Jews were complacent in recent decades with the corrupt political system that served their interests perfectly. Now they have begun to tremble because of the rapid rise of the Golden Dawn. Proficient that in the near future Nationalists would be rulers in Greece. The above prospect frightened amerikanosionistes so we fight with each unfair means. Besides, the Zionist lobby U.S. starts war we experience as a political movement in Greece (bans, black propaganda from media prosecutions waivers of immunity MPs etc). The focus of the case is not the ... "Nazism and the 3rd Reich" that replicate years our opponents. Everything revolving around the vast energy reserves of the Greek EEZ and dominance in the Eastern Mediterranean, the most sensitive geopolitical area in the world.
