You're absolutely right, if most pro-Whites who were for Brett Kavanaugh had spent just an hour or two researching his track record as a judge many would have said 'wait a minute ...'. As time goes on though they are going to make it near impossible to 'do your own thing', they will do this via law as they already have.

This is one reason why Kavanaugh is a disaster.
