Volume sounds better on this one, I don't think I'll have to adjust it at all.

There's still pops on the P's but it doesn't bother me that much, especially if it comes down to either popping or not being loud enough.

I added it to the Multimedia -> VNN Broadcasts player .. or http://vnnforum.com/listen

I not going to make an ordeal out of this, Alex, but you have a longstanding habit of misquoting the title of John Murray Cuddihy's book, which I'm not going to name because I want you to look it up.

Other than that small detail, you're doing extremely well.

Thank you.

Thanks, Jimmy. You know what - I only had one copy of this book and I gave it away. I care that much. I'm like Jesus 2.0 without the martyr complex and shitbird socialism and beattitudinizing.

You're right. That was not the only mistake I made either.

The Ordeal of Civility.

Anyway, I only got to a portion of what I wanted to cover. I will do another podcast tomorrow, probably around an hour, and hit what I didn't get to today.

Amazon.com: Ordeal of Civility: Freud, Marx, Levi-Strauss, and the Jewish Struggle With Modernity (9780807036099): John Murray Cuddihy: Books Amazon.com: Ordeal of Civility: Freud, Marx, Levi-Strauss, and the Jewish Struggle With Modernity (9780807036099): John Murray Cuddihy: Books

The reason I keep saying "On Civility" is because i DO have JMC's other book which is a two-word title, "No Offense," staring in my face two feet away. Never finished reading that, it's worth reading too.

Yeah I didn't really hear pops. Sorry if you do, people. The breathiness I try to avoid, but...like I say, if something is too soft, I, for one, will NOT listen to it. I assume others are like me in that regard. I'm doing these shows to be listened to. Anything that impedes that, I'll get rid of. it's better to err on the loud side, by far.

Great to see you healthy and energetic, Alex. These vintage Alex Linder audios give all of us inspiration. Your jew-wise persuasiveness has never been better.

Some of your language is a bit much for old fashioned sensitive ears, but what the hell, it's effective among today's youth, so I ain't gonna bitch.

Sorry, Rounder. I thought I swore less than in the old days, maybe not. I'll always swear some. Full speed ahead on all fronts.

And, by the way, I thank you deeply for your support - as always. Rounder has been a very loyal donor for years.

Great stuff Alex, just started on the second one now, funny you should mention the Goebbels "propaganda" on calvin.edu site, that's exactly what I was reading yesterday and it's truly amazing the similarities.

"A riddle, wrapped in a mystery, inside an enigma. ~ Winston Churchill".

What is it you like about small towns, Alex? I fucking hate glass tables too. Death traps, they are. Not party-approved equipment for certain.

More inkist slurs? Nihil paeniteo.

Hey, is this the thread for suggestions for the 'dog?

If so, distasteful as it might be, you should make one funding appeal each broadcast. You don't have to belabor it in a Hal Turner-esque manner, but once is appropriate.

Once again, I really enjoyed the show. Would be interesting to track the number of downloads of each podcast.

Yeah I agree on tracking.

BTW, I got you donation - great thanks. This winter has been terrible on costs. We will have a funds drive starting the 25th. I will mention stuff as we go along, for sure, but not belabor it.

Glass tables - they break. That's one. They smudge terrible. That's two. You can't see their edges. That's three. I've been trying to unload one, just a monster mess of a hassle. By contrast, I dived a nice wood table top (no legs), jammed a bunch of boxed storage stuff under it, boom, perfectly stable, smallter-footprint kitchen space.

Small towns - I like the scale. I like that I can get into and out of nearly everything quickly. I don't like eating out much, unless I have relatives in town, nor do I like attending cultural events, so what use is a big city? 90% of what I do is within 3 miles, and I can walk it. The only real downside of a small town that I can see is it's harder to keep your anonymity and privacy, but that's more for people who grow up somewhere and live there their entire life. Also, if you live in a suburb, you have to have a car. Stuff is miles away. But in a small town, you don't need a car. You can walk it. So you kind of get the best of all worlds, from what I can see, especially given the internet. I mean... Also, you can just deal with ordinary life hassles like registering your car (paying water bill, property taxes, getting any other official documents you need) in minutes, and with a personal touch, compared to big cities. That is a great advantage. I think also stuff is just more human scale. I can just enough interaction, without being overwhelmed by assholes and cars and noise and constantly having to pay money just to get in the game in the big city. In two minutes (if I have a car), I can be out in the country, no one bugging me, going fishing or hunting or just looking around. I mean, you do miss that if one were in NYC, one could work with Golden Dawn and such. But the other 90% of the time, you're living in a massive, extremely expensive city. I've already done that, I don't like it. Politics is really the only reason to live in a big city, for a white nationalist. If I'm not speaking outdoors, I can do absolutely everything better and cheaper from a small town.

http://www.heilsound.com/pro/mic-pri...one-techniques

Microphone Techniques
Talking directly into a diaphragm of a microphone will cause a nasty side effect called "P-popping". P-popping is a horrible explosive bass "thump" you hear when a speaker uses certain letters (P's and B's) and speaks right into the mic. You cannot remove P-pops from the audio once its there. When speaking into a microphone, you should talk "across" or just over the microphone rather than directly into the diaphragm.

This will eliminate a good part of this problem. Another solution to P-popping is the use of a Pop Filter; these are large circles you place in front of the mic and are not visually acceptable in live situations. To help reduce (or in many cases eliminate) this low frequency distortion, simply roll off the low frequency response of the microphone in use.

Keep in mind that the human voice has little (if any) energy under 120 Hz, so rolling off the equalization of that microphone will not loose any program response but certainly will eliminate the P-pops and handling noises. This is a trick used by the leading front of house mixing engineers.

Level

It is very important to keep a source at the same distance from the mic so the volume of the source does not change drastically over the PA or in the recording. It is critical in vocals to keep the lead singer "out front" and at a relatively constant level. If a singer moves his head around a lot in front of the mic, the level will go up and down, making the singer loud and then soft, understood and then not understood. So practice keeping your mouth at the same position relative to the mic as much as possible, except when you really belt it out and need to back it off a bit. One huge change in the level and pattern of the microphone will occur if you cup your hand around the ball or where you speak into. Hold the mic on it's handle, not the ball.

Handling Noise

Nearly all microphones make noise when you rub your hand on them or tap them when they are amplified on PA. This rumble or handling noise is impossible to remove. Cardioid mics can be a problem especially in the low frequency area. Professional sound engineers solve this by reducing the low end response of the vocal mic at the mixer. Most handling noise is in the 30-80 Hz region and since the human voice has little content there, rolling off everything under 80 Hz reduces the handling noise.

Mic Placement

Mics sound different depending on how they are pointed at the source. Sources also have different response depending on whether you are directly in front of them or not. We spoke about "on and off axis" before, which refers to whether you are directly aimed at the center (on axis) or off center (off axis) of something. Pointing a mic directly (on axis) at something sounds very different than pointing it to the side of something (off axis). If a trumpet is pointed directly at the mic it sounds different than if it is pointed to the side of the mic. Same is true for acoustic guitars, pianos, singers, etc. Experiment!

Cool. If you don't ask, they won't send. Field of Dreams in reverse.

Anyone enjoying these new podcasts should send you a couple of bucks. Nothing is free. I send my occasional nominal cash donations to whomever I see fit with no return address, cash secured in a card. Never had a single issue with the card not showing up.

You want to support filter-free true free speech? Put a few bucks in a card, and post it to:

Ha, well ive told my one doors story. One of my few legitimate fears is turning into someone who tells the same anecdotes a million times. Everyone does, but I try to be somewhat conscious of it.

BTW, Varg can count downloads if he has a way. I'm pretty sure at our peak in earlier series, we were getting 3-4,000 downloads per show, because we did have some kind of a counter, but that was on a different system/format, i think. That was back in 2007. Boy, does time fly. Those are hard numbers, not twinky ones, like many throw out there. I know there's demand because it's 6-7 years later and i have got letters all through that period asking when we were doing more shows. Probably people like goyfire more than me alone, but that's not possible at moment. If it is, we'll do it, I'm sure.

Again, I'm open to suggestion for material always, even songs. I'm not going to play as much music as other shows we've done, but i will for sure do a couple per show, at least one an hour. also, i will use stuff from shows. and keep the videos parked on my twitter for easy access.

You sounded comfortable and confident for those who don't already know you. For many people like myself, delivering facts is like playing one card at a time, whereas you played the entire deck. I can't think of too many people who are as committed at what they do as you are.

Were I you, I would keep banging that hot short chick Brevity. Always leave 'em wanting more, baby. Two 45 min single issue podcast are preferable to one 90 min broadcast.

I would also charge $20 to play a suggested song on The 'Dog, but I'm a salesman at heart.

You might open the next show with Immigrant Song by Led Zep: the ideal tune to induce in White men the urge to sack synagogues...
