I saw one being used in Saving Private Ryan (sorry for using that film as an example). I wish BMW or somebody would make a modern version of the Kettenkrad, that would be really cool to take on the next deer hunt!

The Bundeswehr uses quads. However, quads aren't really suited for towing 38 mm cannons and civilians riding those things on the street look and genuinely are bonafide Fucktardatos.
Besides, quads can't look spooky:

Can a quad shovel snow?

Can a quad tow an Me-262 jet fighter?

Those test pilots had balls testing those dangerous prototypes:

"What was that?! It flew by us as if we were standing still!

I know I'm critiquing again, but the Me 262 video is a conglomeration of different films. The first B-17 in the footage with the fuselage code DF-A is the famous Memphis Belle, which completed her 25 bombing missions over Europe in May 1943. The 262 didn't become operational until summer 1944 and it was quite a shock to USAAF and RAF aircrews. Only the fastest propeller-driven fighters like the Mustang and later marks of Spitfires could take it, even then in a high-speed dive or catching the jet on takeoff or landing. I don't know if the story of Hitler delaying the Me 262's combat debut a full year because he wanted it developed into a bomber is true or not, but that was one of the things his Chief of Fighter Aviation Adolf Galland got into a disagreement with him about and where Hitler subsequently sacked Galland.

Nonetheless, had the jet been introduced earlier, it could have made a real difference in the air war. The 8th Air Force and RAF Bomber Command were suffering major losses over Germany by the end of 1943 and the Me 262's effect would have been devastating. Combine that with the Me 163 Komet rocket fighter, the Rheintochter surface-to-air missile and the Horten Ho 229 flying wing fighter, the bombing campaign would have come to a screeching halt. The B-29 or B-36 probably would have succumbed to the German weapons, too. Until the Allies either developed the atomic bomb or had jet aircraft of their own like the F-84, F-86, B-47 etc., which didn't come around until a few years later, the Luftwaffe would have ruled the skies over Europe.

Hitler was too oldschoolol, preferring to mdevote his support for sea warfare. In fact, as far as I know, only admiral Dönitz was the only high ranking officer to ba able to argue with der Führer, without getting relieved of command. I don't know if he understood how important air superiority was or just rendered advice vain because of personal pride. His refusal to listen to thode withing his inner circle of command was the reason for some of the attemps on his life.

Certainly, only under circumstantial conditions, being that the Me-262 still had a top speed even faster than that of the Merlin engine equipped Mustangs. Because, the afterburner wasn't either yet invented or implemented is the reason why the Me-262 was vulnerable at start. Comparing the Me to an automobile, without the afterburner, taking off with the jet would be like taking off with the car in 3rd or 4th gear.

End

No need too. Just look at US airforce to see how the Luftwaffe would be like if Germany had won.

Germany would have had ICBMs, artificial satellites and manned spaceflight first too, especially if von Braun continued working for Hitler.

I hope they can get these old warbirds flying again. Hard to believe that between 1935 and 1945 nearly 34,000 Bf 109s were produced. In addition to Germany, Italy, Romania and Hungary during WW2, they were flown postwar by Spain, Czechoslovakia, Switzerland, Finland, Romania and even Israel during the 1948 war to create the jew state. The 109s employed in the movie Battle of Britain were ex-Spanish Air Force and were powered by the same Rolls-Royce Merlin engines as the Spitfire. You can tell that in the video by the larger nose size and different air intake as opposed to the 109's original Daimler-Benz engine. Interestingly enough, the prototype Bf 109 that flew in 1935 was powered by a Rolls-Royce Kestrel engine since the DB powerplant was not yet available.

I have always loved the Battle of Britain opening sequence. Lots of Heinkel 111s (actually Spanish-built CASA versions), the Junkers 52 transport, the Mercedes staff cars, Kubelwagens and BMW motorcycles. And the cool music track.

For easier steering and turning, I would think.

If you've ever notice how tanks nosedive during higher speed manouvers through hilly terrain, I assume the front fork assemble prevents nosedive. The front steering might even be connected to the tracks. Otherwise, the driver would have to steer using a joystick.

Nobody says only one wheel has to be mounted, on those things, if any wheel at all:

Good assumption, that makes sense.
