That irresponsible slob of a "doctor" looks like a jew. In any case, he's a nigger-lover par disexcellence.

While the US govt allegedly is going all-out to stop Amerikwans from going overseas to join "ISIS/ISIL," it is doing nothing to stop these fucking do-gooders from spreading a pandemic. Imagine the sheer feckless irresponsibility of these blithe globetrotters, flitting back and forth over wide open borders, whooping it up in bowling alleys, hacking and coughing in subways, riding around in Uber taxis, blabbing on their "smart" phones about how great and compassionate they are... and infecting the world without a care in the world.

I'm going to say it. I hope this slob dies of his Ebola. He deserves to.

How long before we hear reports of Bellevue personnel being suspected of having the virus? The hip-hop Jamaicans and low-cost Flips who work there aren't particularly careful....

It isn't called "DIE-versity" for nothing.

Default Bellevue staffers call in ‘sick’ after Ebola arrives

Bellevue staffers call in ‘sick’ after Ebola arrives

An extraordinary number of Bellevue Hospital staffers called in sick on Friday rather than treat the city’s first Ebola patient — and those who showed up were terrified to enter his isolation chamber, sources told The Post.

“The nurses on the floor are miserable with a ‘why me?’ attitude, scared to death and overworked because all their co-workers called out sick,” one source said.

“One nurse even went as far as to pretend she was having a stroke to get out of working there, but once they cleared her in the ER they sent her back up,” the source added.

Dr. Craig Spencer is being treated by nurses working in teams of two, “with one serving as a buddy watching the other,” said Health and Hospitals Corporation spokeswoman Ana Marengo, who denied there was a sickout.

The Doctors Without Borders volunteer — who is in stable condition — has even been putting his medical skills to use, lecturing the staff about proper treatment.

“As a doctor, he knows a lot about medicine, so he would call the nurses station all day and going back and forth with doctors on what to do
,” the source said.
Quote:
The sick doctor has been passing time in his pressurized room by watching TV and eating hospital food.

Visitors are forbidden
— but he’ll be able to Skype with friends and pals once his room gets outfitted with a video camera, sources said.

While officials would not divulge his exact treatment, doctors are working to keep him hydrated and comfortable.

“He will be a candidate for any experimental treatments that might be available
,” said Dr. Irwin Redlener, an adviser to the mayor.

This sick bitch is broadcasting her anti-White sympathies to the world via mainstream television networks while claiming she is being held incommunicado.

What percentage of Americans do you suppose will ever have the type of access to the media of mass communications she is currently using?

In the last 24hrs, she's had more media access than David Duke has gotten in his entire lifetime.

Chutzpah! The guy failed to protect himself from getting Ebola, yet he is "lecturing the staff" about Ebola and (the story also says) "calling the nurses station all day," "going back and forth with doctors," and generally throwing his weight around as if he were a great authority, when in reality he is demonstrably the biggest ignoramus in the place.

Doctors Without Borders? In my opinion, if he is representative of their ranks, then that organization should be renamed "Doctors Without Brains."

It's likely that Hollyahood will make a movie about him. The drama of a smart, compassionate, jewish-looking doc snapping witty and brilliant orders to the slow-witted but good-hearted (i.e., black) nursing staff has a M*A*S*H-like appeal that will prove irresistible to jew screenwriters. (To any of these jew screenwriters reading this post: you can thank me by naming the character of the hospital administrator "Sean Gruber." I dare you to.)

New U.S. operation flys thousands of U.S. soldiers and civilians to Liberia to fight the Ebola outbreak but the difficult mission may too little too late

Quote:
  • Thousands of U.S. soldiers and civilians are headed to West Africa to fight Ebola in 'Operation United Assistance,' the U.S.'s latest effort to combat the virus
  • The mission will include 17 Ebola Treatment Units for those infected, but critics say that won't be enough
  • The U.S. Agency for International Development is recruiting health-care workers from around the world
  • More than 10,000 confirmed, probable, and suspected cases of the virus have been reported in eight countries as of Saturday

Kaci Hickox, the nurse currently being held in quarantine at Newark University Hospital despite testing negative for Ebola, has hired a prominent civil rights attorney to help get her out of isolation.

The lawyer, Norman Siegel, told the New York Times on Sunday that Hickox's quarantine order has "raised substantial civil liberties issues."

Siegel told Reuters that Hickox will file a federal lawsuit over her quarantine.

Chris Christie was forced on Monday to allow a nurse being kept in a tent in a hospital parking lot to go home after intense White House pressure to relax a mandatory 21-day quarantine the New Jersey Governor had imposed at a state level.

The embarrassing turnaround came after Obama chaired a White House meeting on the rules and successfully lobbied Christie's New York counterpart, Gov. Andrew Cuomo, to relax their quarantine rules – even as Americans grow more concerned about the possibility of a pandemic emergency.

Cuomo gave in on behalf of New Yorkers. But as of Sunday Christie was still pushing for more aggressive measures to protect New Jerseyans, saying he had 'no second thoughts' about the policy.

Australia halts immigration from Ebola-hit nations
Sydney - Australia said on Monday it was suspending migration from Ebola-hit West African nations to try to prevent the virus from crossing its borders, as a teenager who arrived from Guinea tested negative for the disease.

Immigration Minister Scott Morrison told Parliament the government had stopped issuing visas to people from those countries hit by the disease, which has claimed close to 5 000 lives in its worst outbreak.

“These measures include temporarily suspending our immigration programme, including our humanitarian programme, from EVD (Ebola Virus Disease) affected countries,”
he said.

Default Cruel Bronx mudlings are mean and insensitive to African kids

(from the article, below)

A group that advocates for Africans in the Bronx is calling for action after it says two brothers who had recently immigrated to the borough from Senegal were beaten and severely injured by several people who called them “Ebola.”

The boys, in sixth and eighth grade, were attacked Friday afternoon at I.S. 318 in Tremont, according to the African Advocacy Council.

The boys, who have been in the U.S. for about a month, were taken to the hospital after the attack.

The group says that the attack is just the latest incidence of disrespect and bullying of Africans since the outbreak of Ebola in West Africa.

Ebola can survive on surfaces for almost TWO MONTHS: Tests reveal certain strains survive for weeks when stored at low temperatures

The number of confirmed Ebola cases passed the 10,000 mark over the weekend, despite efforts to curb its spread.

And while the disease typically dies on surfaces within hours, research has discovered it can survive for more than seven weeks under certain conditions.

During tests, the UK’s Defence Science and Technology Laboratory (DSTL) found that the Zaire strain will live on samples stored on glass at low temperatures for as long as 50 days.

The tests were initially carried out by researchers from DSTL before the current outbreak, in 2010, but the strain investigated is one of five that is still infecting people globally.

The findings are also quoted in advice from the Public Agency of Health in Canada.

For their 2010 paper, ‘The survival of filoviruses in liquids, on solid substrates and in a dynamic aerosol’, Sophie Smither and her colleagues tested two particular filoviruses on a variety of surfaces.

These were the Lake Victoria marburgvirus (Marv), and Zebov.

Each was placed into guinea pig tissue samples and tested for their ability to survive in different liquids, and on different surfaces at different temperatures, over a 50-day period.

When stored at 4° (39°F), by day 26, viruses from three of the samples were successfully extracted; Zebov on the glass sample, and Marv on both glass and plastic.

By day 50, the only sample from which the virus could be recovered was the Zebov from tissue on glass.

‘This study has demonstrated that filoviruses are able to survive and remain infectious, for extended periods when suspended within liquid and dried onto surfaces,’ explained the researchers.

‘Data from this study extend the knowledge on the survival of filoviruses under different conditions and provide a basis with which to inform risk assessments and manage exposure.’

And here I was thinking that it might calm down with winter coming on. Cold only makes it live longer.

Default Patient in New York City tests positive for Ebola – took subway from Manhattan to Brooklyn night before

Patient in New York City tests positive for Ebola – took subway from Manhattan to Brooklyn night beforePosted on October 24, 2014

October 2014 – NEW YORK – A doctor in New York City who recently returned from treating Ebola patients in Guinea tested positive for the Ebola virus Thursday, becoming the city’s first diagnosed case. The doctor, Craig Spencer, was rushed to Bellevue Hospital on Thursday and placed in isolation while health care workers spread out across the city to trace anyone he might have come into contact with in recent days. A further test will be conducted by the federal Centers for Disease Control to confirm the initial test. While officials have said they expected isolated cases of the disease to arrive in New York eventually, and had been preparing for this moment for months, the first case highlighted the challenges surrounding containment of the virus, especially in a crowded metropolis. Even as the authorities worked to confirm that Mr. Spencer was infected with Ebola, it emerged that he traveled from Manhattan to Brooklyn on the subway on Wednesday night, when he went to a bowling alley and then took a taxi home.

Thomas W. Geisbert of the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston helped develop a vaccine that was effective in preventing Ebola in monkeys. A person infected with Ebola cannot spread the disease until they begin to display symptoms, and it cannot be spread through the air. As the person becomes sicker, the viral load in the body builds, and they become more and more contagious.

Dr. Spencer’s travel history and the timing of the onset of his symptoms led health officials to dispatch “disease detectives immediately began to actively trace all of the patient’s contacts to identify anyone who may be at potential risk,” according to a statement released by the department. It was unclear if the city was trying to find people who might have come into contact with Dr. Spencer on the subway. The Metropolitan Transportation Authority directed all questions to the health department, which did not immediately respond to requests for comment on the issue. At Dr. Spencer’s apartment in Harlem, his home was sealed off and workers distributed informational fliers about the disease. It was not clear if anyone was being quarantined. Health authorities declined to say how many people in total might have come into contact with Dr. Spencer while he was symptomatic. Mayor Bill de Blasio, speaking at a press conference Thursday evening before the diagnosis, said Dr. Spencer has given health workers a detailed accounting of his activities over the last few days. “Our understanding is that very few people were in direct contact with him,” Mr. de Blasio said. Dr. Spencer had been working with Doctors Without Borders in Guinea, treating Ebola patients, before returning to New York City on Oct. 14, according to a city official. He told the authorities that he did not believe the protective gear he wore while working with Ebola patients had been breached but had been monitoring his own health.

City tracking 117 people for signs of Ebola
By Yaron Steinbuch and Post Wires

The city is tracking 117 people for Ebola symptoms by issuing free thermometers and trusting them to relay their temperatures to the Health Department twice a day, officials said Thursday.

No one on the list has shown any symptoms, and all are being monitored “out of an abundance of caution,” said City Hall spokeswoman Marti Adams.

About 470 Health Department workers are responsible for calling all those being monitored twice a day and keeping a log of their temperatures.

“It ensures that health officials can respond rapidly in case a person who is at risk becomes ill, so they can be isolated and evaluated before they become contagious,” Adams said.

The number of people being “actively monitored” will fluctuate on a daily basis, according to the Mayor’s Office.

The list includes Bellevue Hospital workers caring for Dr. Craig Spencer, who contracted the disease after treating Ebola patients in Guinea. New York City’s first and only confirmed case of Ebola was listed in serious but stable condition Thursday.

Also being actively monitored are the FDNY EMS workers who took Spencer to the hospital, the workers who handled his blood, his fiancée and two friends.

The fiancée and friends are *under home quarantine and are being checked in person, the Health Department said.

Spencer tested positive for the disease on Oct. 23, just days after returning to his home in Harlem.

His case highlighted the behind-the-scenes work of the city’s team of disease detectives.

They used information from his credit cards, MetroCards and his cellphone records to piece together an hour-by-hour timeline of his movements since returning to the city.

In other developments on Thursday:

•The 5-year-old boy who was treated for a respiratory illness at Bellevue after testing negative for Ebola was released from the hospital. He will be actively monitored along with his mother and a sibling, officials said.

• Mayor de Blasio and Gov. Cuomo announced a program to encourage health-care workers to travel to West Africa to treat Ebola patients by offering them job and health-care protections upon their return. The state and city will ensure they will not lose their jobs or benefits while abroad. The state also will reimburse those who are quarantined and their employers. The program is modeled after benefits offered to military reservists returning from war.

• The CDC has yanked a poster off its Web site describing how Ebola can be spread by droplets just a day after The Post reported on the frightening revelation. The CDC did not immediately respond to a request for an explanation of why the poster was taken off its Web site.

Ebola: Canada suspending visas for residents of outbreak countries

Quote:
Canada is following in Australia's footsteps and has closed its doors, effectively immediately, to people from the West African countries battling Ebola.
In a move that puts Canada at odds with the World Health Organization, the federal government said Friday it is suspending the issuance of visas for residents and nationals of countries with "widespread and persistent-intense transmission" of Ebola virus disease. As well, work on permanent residence applications for people from the affected countries is also being suspended.

First Australia, now Canada.

When the US?

Never. The US President is an African partisan. And the US government is run entirely by jews and capitalists, who are scared shitless by the idea that US borders should be tightened by even one millimeter. Public health be damned: what about pogroms in foreign lands, my "civil rights," my obscene profit margin, and those poor suffering Negroes whom Christ has commanded us to serve?

This country is only going to get what it deserves.

Default More Ebola brought to France

France is treating a United Nations employee who contracted Ebola in Sierra Leone, the health ministry said on Sunday.

"This person, who worked in Sierra Leone in the fight against Ebola, has undergone a secure medical evacuation by specialised aircraft," the ministry said in a statement.

The victim has been placed in isolation under high security in an army training hospital in Saint-Mande near Paris.

A French nurse, who worked for Doctors Without Borders (MSF) in Liberia, was treated for Ebola at the same hospital in September and recovered.

Despite around 500 reports of possible Ebola infections in France since June, not one has so far tested positive, the ministry added.

France has 12 research hospitals ready to take in suspected Ebola cases.
