Smile The Russian Language

The first thing I would like to draw your attention to is names.

The Russian language allows, besides the main form of a name, to form a rather large number of other forms. Or they can mean a close acquaintance with him/her.

Here is the closest example. On the last Direct Line with Vladimir Putin, the president was asked a question:
Volodya, aren’t you tired?

Володя - this appeal to a person assuming a close acquaintance with him.

Of course, when you translate these forms into English, all these subtle nuances of meaning are lost.

If you have any questions, I will try to answer on it
