Default US backs Libyan intervention

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worl...ervention.html
Quote:
European diplomatic sources said that military operations could be
under way "within hours" of the UN vote, using Nato and British airborne forces already in the region.

The resolution had the strong support of Lebanon and some other Arab nations, but as negotiations at the UN headquarters in New York extended into the evening, the positions of other key players was unresolved.

This is, in the plainest sense, another Zog invasion.
Another Oil grab.

The JOGs are telling nothing but red-faced lies about this so-called uprising/invasion.

The almost complete blackout of the Libyan uprising in comparison to the 24 hour coverage of the Egyptian booting of Murabad, has provided a much desired opportunity for the media to pump smoke up the ass of the world about what is truly happening there.
Its just too convenient to pass up.

Watch The UN Vote To Bomb Libya - Live

http://www.zerohedge.com/article/wat...omb-libya-live

Quote:
As reported earlier, the UN Security Council will vote in minutes (process to begin at 6:00PM Eastern) on whether to commence the imminent bombing of Libya. The preliminary roll call has US, UK and France voting yes, with China and Russia likely abstaining. The vote is sure to pass unless someone vetoes it which is very unlikely. Also as was disclosed previously, the full resolution that is being voted and which nobody has probably read, can be found at the following link. Watch for the reaction in crude following the vote passage, and especially following Bloomberg headlines that France has launched an all out attack.

Yes, as if they hadn't already decided to do exactly that.

No fly zone passes 10-5 w/ absenteeism.

How convenient that the NATO ships just happened to be in the area. Anyone who thinks its a coincidence may be extremely naive.

Qatar, Emirates To Join Libya Air Strikes -Diplomat

Last update: 3/17/2011 6:14:10 PM NEW YORK (AFP)--Qatar and the United Arab Emirates will join international forces set to bomb Moammar Gadhafi's forces in Libya after the U.N. votes to authorize air strikes, a U.N. diplomat said Thursday. "There will be participation by Qatar and the United Arab Emirates. That has been confirmed at the Security Council," the diplomat, who asked not to be identified, said just ahead of the council's vote on authorizing force. Thursday, the head of the Arab League delegation to the U.N., Yahya Mahmassani, said the two countries might take part in raids, but that he couldn't confirm this. Earlier, French Foreign Minister Alain Juppe said "there are excellent reasons to think that there will be participation by Arab countries." The U.N. Security Council appeared set to authorize aerial bombardments of Gadhafi's forces to stop their push on embattled rebel units. The resolution, drawn up by the U.K., France and Lebanon and strong U.S. input, specifically excludes "an occupation force" in Libya. And it calls on Arab nations to "cooperate" in the action. I could overhear some of the conversations:

"Jim, is that you?

Wow, what's it been... six months? That long? Nooo... wow!

It's just great to see ya!

Yeah, these votes are a pain in the ass, but the food is top-notch and the hotels and women are great. What's this one about? Oh, Libya, right... It's about time we got Mubarak out of there.

What? Mubarak was last week? Gadaffi? The guy Reagan killed in the 80's? He missed? Jesus, well, he definitely has to go then. So wait, who's Mubarak?

Egypt? Is that what we're voting on, bombing Egypt? Or wait, you said Libya. Right. And Gadaffi is in Libya. And that's who we're bombing. Who in Libya are we bombing? Gadaffi?

No? Who then? What will we do with Gadaffi? Convince him to resign?? And do what? The French seem very adamant that he be done away with after all.

Oh, the French have a villa and a two billion euro bank account set aside for him? So France wants us to bomb Gadaffi into submitting to fleeing his country for a villa in the south of France... where the French will immediately arrest him!

???

No? What do you mean they'll eventually invite him to participate in the middle east peace process? You mean... What? Who's there? Benghazi who? ... Bwaaaahahaahahahahahahahahahahah!

*sips $4000 per bottle champagne* Oh man, these rebels are seriously going to get massacred."

Gadhaffi with his 70 percent support base was busy restoring peace and could've done without nwo and jew.s.a interference and false media reports.

There Goes Oil

An hour ago we said: "Watch for the reaction in crude following the vote passage, and especially following Bloomberg headlines that France has launched an all out attack." Well the attack is still pending, but the oil reaction is here (and nobody could have seen it coming). WTI just passed $103. Demand destruction or no demand destruction, here we come. And just imagine what happens when Japan is fully back on line again (in about a year at which point the US will be between QE 4 and 5).

TUNIS, March 17 | Thu Mar 17, 2011 7:11pm EDT

TUNIS, March 17 (Reuters) - Italy is ready to make its military bases available to enforce a U.N. Security Counci resolution imposing a no-fly zone on Libya, an Italian government source told Reuters on Thursday.

The airbase at Sigonella in Sicily, which provides logistical support for the United States Sixth Fleet, is one of the closest NATO bases to Libya and could be used in any military operation.

"It's a positive development," an Italian goverrnment source told Reuters minutes after the U.N. Security Council voted in favour of the no-fly zone.

Asked whether Italy would offer its bases for the enforcement of the U.N. resolution, the source said: "Yes, we've said we are ready to do that."

Blackmail?

http://tarpley.net/2011/03/15/behind...tabilizations/
Italy under Prime Minister Berlusconi has been attacked by the CIA in a recent Wikileaks document dump as the Western European country with the closest relations with the Russian Federation and with Prime Minister Putin personally. One concrete manifestation of this close relation with Moscow is the Southstream gas pipeline, which also involves cooperation with Turkey. Southstream will permit Russia to export natural gas towards the Mediterranean region without the need to traverse the rabidly anti-Russian Eastern European NATO states, who have deplorable track record of sabotaging gas deliveries in the course of their endless quarrels with Moscow. The Italian-Russian relationship has also given the Italian state oil company ENI and its subsidiaries a role in the construction of the Nord Stream Baltic gas pipeline between Russia and Germany; these pipeline deals have added several percentage points to the Italian GDP and to some extent cushioned the country against the current world economic depression. The destabilization of Italy for the purpose of ousting Berlusconi is being conducted through a group of runaway state prosecutors in Milan, among them the vindictive Ilda Bocassini, a relic of the defunct Lotta Continua, a Maoist-anarchist organization of the 1970s. Unable to oust Berlusconi through elections or votes of no confidence, the backers of these prosecutors have launched some three dozen prosecutions against him over recent decades, including by tapping his phone — despite the fact that he has been the duly elected prime minister of the country and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces.

Italy has been extremely skeptical about armed intervention against Libya in recent weeks, partly because it is the country with the most to lose if Libya is destroyed. The motivations of the Berlusconi government in these policies are not so different from the ones that were expressed by Enrico Mattei in the 1950s and by Aldo Moro in the 1970s. It is certain that an Italian government dominated by the post-communists and their neoliberal allies would subordinate Italy to the International Monetary Fund and NATO far more than is the case under Berlusconi and Tremonti. Italian leftists must therefore face the fact that they have been thoroughly duped by the same US-backed destabilization operations which are operative elsewhere in the Mediterranean region.

A no-fly-zone is a Jew drive-by, rubber stamped by the same August body that legitimized the Kike hate hive. Do they still have the audacity to call themselves peace keepers? It must be something like the peace process, wherein the Tribe dismantles a people piece by piece.

The resolution had the strong support of Lebanon

How obscene.

They mean the kwan backed puppet govt of Lebanon.
This is a country that was devastated by ZOG bombing and a nation which is still under constant threat from Israeli attacks.

Instead of calling for a no fly zone over the occupied Palestinian territories in order to protect civilians from genocidal jew air attacks these criminal traitors join in ganging up on Libya which has done no harm to Lebanon. Absolutely disgusting!

Look at all of this horseshit in the media with these so-called 'speakers for the French people' pushing to engage Libya.

And just like Americans risk their lives in the military at the behest of the Jew puppets, Frenchmen with families and children will be in the same position for a cause that will not benefit them in the slightest, in this Jew-run 'West'.

I'm more interested in the Japan nuclear incident progression. I hope this international clique of criminals whole web of facades becomes destabilized. Tokyo (and seemingly more depending where the wind blows) on track now to become a ghost city the likes of Pripyat is significant.

People are starting to see through this whole load of tripe they are pushing in the media to play it down for the sake of money powers. The same money powers that stifle advancement with their false-maintenance of old technologies as current (i.e.: the oil scum, just like their Patriarch Rockefeller). It's a lot harder to bill the abundant sun, wind, water, and the technological innovations that make such resources equal or superior replacements in their efficiency. Dollars (power) first, efficiency and people second.

Bring this damned Jewish monster-parasite over the west down to a coma, so it can be shaken off.
