Paul Mccartney's album Tug of War
This album was released in 1982 and I think it is Mccartney's best solo work. First off it has the duet with Stevie Wonder Ebony and Ivory which I can't stand.
However the rest of the songs are very good. Here Today is an emotional tribute to John Lennon. Ballroom Dancing is enjoyable. The song Tug of War is good. There is also an acoustic duet with Carl Perkins that I like. When this album came out one reviewer called it a mellow masterpiece. McCartney is a skilled song writer but nobody is perfect. Silly Love Songs from the 70s was annoying. Anyway if you haven't listened to this album you may want to check it out.g
