I have a CD of him singing different songs from Latin America (not the one in the link) and it had that "Brasil" song for (naturally) Brazil. Great singer. I think he is still going on. Lost track after he left the Washington Opera.

It's the Chiquita Banana broad from the 40s.

Some years ago I kept mistakenly calling Carmen Electra 'Carmen Miranda.' How did I get the actress from Baywatch confused with a Brazilian singer?
