When you think about it, a city known for its white flight population (escaping negro crime) is the perfect one to host a seminar like this. The locals voted with their feet on exciting multi-cultural neighborhoods. Problem: cities ruined by negro crime. Solution: Legalize segregation.
From WREG TV News: I missed the first part but ....the case may end up in court battle... The white Olive Branch police chief, Arthur Heun, said he he is going to continue to monitor the situation...Three protest groups were/are planning to show up. Also, a Byhalia, Mississippi school was placed under lock down and the kids sent home at noon because a parent received a text message that someone was to going shoot the black students...(shades of Cowart and Schlesselman!) |

On Channel 13 Fox Memphis news at 5 ..... they stated it was the school secretary who received the text messages. Probably just a big fat lie!

Having never booked a conference hall... I'm out of my league on how
it's done. I would assume that 'someone from Euro' booked the room/s in advance and sighed a CONTRACT with the hotel. The hotel refuses to honor said contract -- How is this not a Breach Of Contract? From Wiki.. Breach of contract is a legal concept in which a binding agreement or bargained-for exchange is not honored by one or more of the parties to the contract by non-performance or interference with the other party's performance. ==== Typically, the judicial remedy for breach of contract is monetary damages. See damages. Where the failure to perform cannot be adequately redressed by money damage, the court may enter an equity decree awarding an injunction or specific performance. The aggrieved person has a duty to mitigate or reduce damages by reasonable means. Liquidated Damages may be limited to a specific amount. In the United States, punitive damages are generally not awarded for breach of contract but may be awarded for other causes of action in a lawsuit. Limitation of Liability (Exculpatory) clauses. [Private agreement is permissible.] [Invalid when public interest is involved and there is willful conduct or gross negligence.] ==== Lets look at 'reasonable means' in the above mentioned. If you have 50/75-people driving 400 miles to attend said conference, than shouldn't the hotel be liable to pay for that as well? What about the civil rights of those that were going to attend? We all know what would happen had the races been reversed. Instead of turning the other cheek, we need lawyers who will take on these hotels. |

Jerry (Amren) Taylor makes the hotel sign his contract, in which it states that if the hotel backs out, then they would have to pay Jerry $20,000.

Maybe a White area of the US would be a consideration for future meetings. When I was in the National Alliance, I attended 2 LCs up in Hillsboro and the locals were always friendly and decent to deal with. They welcomed our business during the off season of the ski season.

a little more background
"DeSoto County is within the Memphis, Tennessee metro area, but with a county-wide population of 149,393 and a population of 30,635 in Olive Branch, the area doesn't have many law enforcement personnel.
With the uncertainty surrounding the white-power conference, the DeSoto County Board of Supervisors voted unanimously on Monday to declare a state of emergency effective beginning at 8 a.m. Friday. The declaration allows county officials to bring in additional law enforcement from across the state if needed to cope with any possible disturbances resulting from the conference. The emergency declaration also gives law enforcement access to private property and gives the scene commander the ability to commandeer it if necessary to deal with conditions, according to reports." - Linda Young EDIT - Online story in the commercial appeal today. They said they were concerned about the protesters stepping on hotel property. They sound like Barney Fife and Deputy Gomer to me. The comments section is interesting, some comments support the whites. DeSoto readies plan for trouble; emergency declared for white-power meeting By William C. Bayne (Contact), Memphis Commercial Appeal Tuesday, November 4, 2008 Girding for the possibility of trouble when a white-power conference comes to Olive Branch this weekend, DeSoto County officials Monday voted to declare a state of emergency starting Friday to facilitate adding law enforcement if needed. The DeSoto County Board of Supervisors voted unanimously in favor of the declaration. Comments There are 58 responses to this article. Click here to join the conversation » The state of emergency will begin at 8 a.m. Friday and continue for seven days, which is the standard period of time for an emergency declaration. It allows county government to bring in additional law enforcement to cope with possible disturbances that might arise during the European-American Unity and Rights Organization gathering at Whispering Woods Hotel and Conference Center Friday through Sunday. David Duke, a former Louisiana legislator and former Ku Klux Klan figure, has been associated with the group. It's unclear how many will attend the conference. Supervisor Jessie L. Medlin [yes, there is a Rabbi Medlin]sought the emergency declaration "because of an event that poses a risk to the public safety." The declaration gives county officials access to private property, which they would not have without the declaration, and it gives the scene commander the authority to deal with the situation, according to Bobby Storey, director of emergency management for county government. However, Storey said the main reason for the declaration beginning Friday is that "it allows us to bring law enforcement officers across state lines and to deputize them, authorizing them to make arrests, if needed." DeSoto County Sheriff Bill Rasco said he has already been in contact with Shelby County officials, and Shelby County Sheriff Mark Luttrell has agreed to provide up to 50 deputies to assist. Storey said additional officers could also be brought in from Southaven, Horn Lake and Hernando, but he said Olive Branch Police Chief Art Heun most likely would be the on-scene commander. One person and a group of students have expressed an interest in demonstrating, Heun said. He would not identify the person or group, and no permits are required for public areas. "People have a right to assemble," Heun said. "We will have an area set aside for them to demonstrate. It'll be taped off on Hacks Cross Road." Should they stray onto private property, such as the hotel lot, and the owner asks them to leave and they refuse, Heun said police will be prepared to arrest violators for trespassing. "We made contingency plans based on various scenarios," Heun said. "There's a number of different scenarios that could occur." Law enforcement from areas outside of the city and county will only be called if and when they are needed, Heun said. Storey said additional ambulance units will be on standby. -- William C. Bayne: (662) 996-1408 Staff reporter Toni Lepeska contributed to this story. |

I believe the Sycamore View Road area would be a good place to stay if you have a car. There's a lot of hotels and restaurants along there.

Sheesh, it's sick they way the local news seems to have dropped the Euro Conference story but they keep puffing themselves up over Memphis, the civil rights era, Martin Luther King, black activists, etc.

Oh no, between celebrating Obamanation Channel 5 news said on the six o'clock news "Hate Group Coming to Memphis, they were kicked out by the hotel but they vow to come anyway." Pic of David Duke in robe. They played part of his audio clip from his web site. "We're not going to roll over.. we're going to fight."
Edit: Oh yeah, Jacob Flowers was on that segment, although his name was not given, saying, "They are white supremacists, they think they are the Master Race." The reporter assigned to the story was Nick Kenney, mailto:[email protected] MEMPHIS, TN (WMC-TV) - A Mississippi hotel kicked them out, but Action News 5 has learned a white supremacy group will still come to Memphis this weekend. Former Ku Klux Klan leader David Duke says on his website that he and his followers are still coming. In a news release Tuesday, management the Whispering Woods Hotel in Olive Branch - where the white supremacy conference was to be held - said the meeting had been canceled. But Duke says members will be in town anyway, and the group will meet regardless. "We're going to meet in Memphis," Duke says in an audio message on his website. "We're going to find a place to meet." The remarks were part of a half-hour radio show broadcast on his website Tuesday evening. "We're not going to simply roll over and play dead and say, 'Okay, take away our rights.' We're going to struggle and fight for our rights and our heritage," Duke says. When news of the conference initially spread, the Whispering Woods Hotel came under fire from the NAACP and the Mid-South Peace and Justice Center. Duke said EURO fights to preserve European heritage, and that it plans to sue the hotel for breaching their contract. Duke added EURO will hold its conference somewhere in Memphis this weekend regardless. "Those of you ready to come, we're going to see you there. We're going to meet. And we may have one of the best, most spiritual, and powerful gatherings of our people," he said. EURO is not releasing the meeting time or location. Instead, the organization is asking registered participants to come to Memphis, and then contact EURO for the necessary information. During his radio broadcast, Duke said he would hold a press conference, but we have not gotten word of one yet. Action News 5's attempts to contact Duke through his headquarters Wednesday were unsuccessful. |

It's true all Americans have a right to free speech and I think they are free to do this but I think it's wrong and I would protest it, just as racists would protest civil rights. What makes it so controversial for a racist group to hold a conference is because of what racists have done in America for hundreds of years. America is opening it's eyes and is sick of looking at the filth that has happened in it history (slavery, segregation, KKK) and America isn't taking it anymore. America is starting to grow up and get rid of it's immature and unintelligent habits.
