Rambo V was a total flop. It's gone to video already.

The series wrapped up nicely with Rambo 4 and had no need to do another movie.. [pt4 was maybe the most violent of the series]
except in jew hollywood theres always an excuse to go after a few more dollars

Even in his prime, Rambo never would've stood a chance against this guy:

Oh well, we will always have my favorite Rambo scene of all time.

Arnie shooting up the kwap station in The Terminator is a close second.

Fourteen years earlier, another captive was hosed down while in lockup, and it drove him to escape too:

In fact, I suspect the makers of Rambo: First Blood ripped off
The Planet of the Apes hose-down scene because it was very effective.

Well, I haven't seen "Rambo: Last Blood" yet, but I'm an unconditional fan of Sylvester Stallone ...

First Blood is 1982 is my favorite Rambo film.
Parts of it are hokey but the way that Rambo is bullied by the cops and fights back resonates with a lot of people. A lot of t people experience bullying at some time and it feels really bad and can relate.
I thought Brian Dennehy did a good job with the sheriff role even though it was a b grade acion movie. I know he is an ex Marine who became a good actor and has some Tony awards.

Brian Dennehy just died recently. Too bad, for years I was hoping a movie could be made where Dennehy's First Blood character Will Teasle tracks Johnny Rambo down and tries to get revenge on him.

Yeah, Dennehy looked like some big dumb jarhead, and he usually got typecast playing some kind of asshole. Actually his sheriff character in David Morell's original novel First Blood was a Korean War vet, who didn't care much for Vietnam vets getting all the publicity, since Korea was known as "The Forgotten War." So naturally when Rambo wandered into his town, Teasle came down hard on him. It was not mentioned in any dialog in the movie, but there is a scene showing Teasle's office with a display case of military medals implying he'd seen combat. The difference between 1982, First Blood's release date and today is most cops are ex-green niggers and would probably give Rambo a bunch of bear hugs and back-slapping thanking him for his "service" instead of mistreating him they way they did in the movie.

I hadn't heard that Dennehy died until you me tioned it .That is sad. I know he won a Tony awards for his stage work ron Death of a Salesman
He played John Wayne Gacy in a TV movie.
He was born in1938 a anted I saw him play a role in the movie 10 with Boimr Derek that came out in 1980.
He may have gotten into acting later in life compared to other people. But he seemed to avoid being type cast sometimes. I can't think of any action movie actors who have won Tony's.
I know he wasn't an action star more of a drama person and he also played in the comedy film Tommy Boy with Chris Farley.

Sylvester Stallone is one of the best actors in the world, and his characters Rocky and Rambo are rightly considered Western icons. (And yes, I know that Stallone is said to have some jewish admixture, but he's an Italian-American man, and that's how I view him.)

I see Stallone like that too, Comrade Stewart.

For me, a typical American, Western and white hero.

No, Bedford was talking about Brian Dennehy:

To Catch a Killer is a two-part television film from 1992, directed by Eric Till and starring Brian Dennehy and Michael Riley. It is based on the true story of the pursuit of American serial killer John Wayne Gacy.

If Sylvester Stallone hadn't chosen the theatrically-shown ending to First Blood instead of this alternate ending where Trautman kills him (which incidentally, follows the novel's ending more closely), there would have been no sequels and no Rambo franchise.

Bedford, Brian Dennehy has always been a favorite of mine. If you've never seen the 1986 movie FX with Bryan Brown and Dennehy, you need to watch it. I saw it when it first came out and found it recently at a Goodwill store. I watch it over and over and never get tired.
